My wife, daughter, sister and I spent another couple weeks at Honokeana Cove and had a great time. The atmosphere there is chill and friendly, especially around the BBQ's at night. Snorkeling and turtle watching are a lot of fun. There are tidepools to be explored at low tide. And the sunsets are just magnificent.Our unit was clean, very well-appointed and maintained. Thanks for everything!

The property was well appointed and the access to the pool and cove with amazing marine life is as good as it gets. We have stayed at various ocean front places in Maui but this is our new favorite and hope to return soon.

This was a wonderful resort. Right on the water with great snorkeling and TURTLES!! Our ground floor unit had great access to the pool, bbq’s and beach. Would definitely recommend, just watch out for the bird poop from birds that roost in the tree every night!!

We love love love Honokeana Cove. Our stay in February 2024 was perfect. We stayed in #109 and what a great unit. Wonderful lanai with a great view. Honokeana is such a special place, so comfortable. Snorkeling was awesome, so many turtles. Bree was amazing to work with, thank you!

Unit 109 was a wonderful 2 bdrm unit. Many updates, very clean and roomy with a spacious deck just yards from the pool, BBQ's and wonderful grounds. The view is that million dollar view or maybe we should 'up' that amount.

This unit has been remodeled and has a very comfortable master bathroom and kitchen. Everything was well done with no problems. Our only concern were the seed pods falling constantly but there's nothing to do about that

Staying in 109 was amazing for my little family and I. Since we’ve been back my 3 year old keeps asking to go back to his “Maui Home”. Absolutely loved our stay and already booked for next year. Best vacation I have ever had!

This was the perfect getaway and we are excited to plan the next trip to visit the cove. There is no reason to stay anywhere else on Hawaii. Though I shouldn’t say that too loud, so I can ensure I can get a room for my next visit. Daily snorkeling and the community of other visitors is second to none.

The only warning is the units do not have air conditioning and inside this unit was steamy and humid during this time in June. I was unaware there was no air conditioning until arrival.

It feels like coming home every time. We have been coming for a long time and we just love it. The community and seeing familiar and friendly faces. If you see someone you know you just pick right back up where you left off and often leave having made some new friendships. Such a hidden( not so hidden, anymore!) gem!

This was our fifth year at Honokeana. For the last several years we’ve booked the same unit because it works so well for our family. The location and access to wonderful snorkeling is incredible. A 10 on a scale of 10. That said, this is a “family” vacation resort circa the 1960’s/70’s when it was built. It can be noisy with lots of kids and adults having a good time. And...it is expensive. We paid $450/night which included taxes. Overall though, you won’t be disappointed by Honokeana with a few cautions.

After waiting 2 long years to get back to Hawaii, we couldn't wait to start our vacation at Honokeana Cove!! Su did a great job of keeping everyone informed about the latest Covid restrictions and allowed us to postpone our reservation (twice). We moved to Unit 109 to accommodate the addition of my sister and brother-in-law, so we had plenty of room. Large lanai area with plenty of shade and a large table allowed for us to enjoy most meals outdoors. The snorkeling was awesome- easy access in and out of the cove. Saw a myriad of colorful fish and of course TURTLES!! Took many great photos of the turtles sunning themselves and in the water. Betty, Su, and Ray welcomed us back like family. They are all amazing and great at what they do. Property is a quick drive away from the Lahaina Harbor, which we visited throughout our stay to go whale watching. We also enjoyed a front row seat to see plenty of whale activity right from our room, the pool and the ample lawn area. Swimming in the pool and catching some rays was refreshing for body and soul. Only thing missing was Su's famous Wednesday Night get togethers- stupid Covid. Hopefully they will be able to lift all restrictions soon and we can enjoy these wonderful opportunities to share good food and good times with other guests. Unit 109 is a lovely property with beautiful furnishings, including a couple of outstanding showers. Also appreciated being able to leave unused food items, knowing they will be distributed to cleaning staff / food banks. Our sincere thanks to all who made our stay so enjoyable. We can't wait to see you all again!!!!

This place is a hidden gem. Not only did we love that everything was right out our front door but we love the entire property! We met friends who have been coming there for years . Special place indeed! My daughters haven’t stopped talking about the sea turtles! There is everything you need on site. Thank you thank you , we hope to come back !

I loved that this resort wasn't "posh" -- while being beautiful, comfortable, friendly, and clean. I didn't want tiki bars and crowds. Best snorkeling site on the island. Kitchen was well-stocked for kitchen appliances, pots and pans, dishes, and tools. Supply of condiments left by previous guests.

We had an incredible time at the Honokeana Cove. It was such a wonderful alternative to being in a super congested tourist area. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the entire process was smooth from start to end. My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception dinner on the property and it was more than I ever could have dreamed. Beyond gorgeous setting, and the management was super helpful with any questions I had and even did some additional tree and bush trimming the day of the ceremony. I would recommend this property to anyone!

Over the years, we’ve visited all of the islands including Malokai and, honestly, Honokeana is now our destination point when visiting the islands. Not only have we gone there by ourselves, but we have, at various times, taken family and friends. Honokeana is the height of beauty, friendliness, and cleanliness. What a beautiful place!
