This property has great reviews and that is another reason we booked, but it is special for different reasons, we think, and all is good. Some special reasons: the view, the pool, the gated entry, the easy to navigate roads, wonderfully appointed one or two bedroom bungalow (yes, had that Carribean Hollywood touch), the daily visit of furry friends (dog and cats) the super-nice and knowledgeable caretakers upstairs ( we want to meet Alex next time!) the array of sitting areas and close proximity to both sides of the island, and especially Christiansted without being right there. The nearby BBQ and fish places, Salt River area and Cane bay are also close by. We really stayed at the place much of the time because it was one of the better places we have stayed and we travel often. We are considering spending our 40th wedding anniversary at Sailor's Rest as she enjoyed her birthday on top of the world very much. Thank you, Alex and friends.

Stayed 1 week at Sailors Rest for a little R&R. The apartment was very clean, comfortable & well equipped with the most amazing views. We really enjoyed the pool and outdoor living spaces. Alex was great with all communications which made the whole process a breeze!

We loved exploring St. Croix and this property was absolutely the perfect place to stay. We spent most mornings on a walk/ hike through the nature preserve. We enjoyed the view from our veranda so much that we cooked dinner several nights and ate outside. Alex was wonderful. We plan to return!!

Judith's Fancy is a great place to stay being centrally located on the island. The view from Sailor's rest is amazing and very private. Alex our hostess was very accommodating with her home and we would recommend Sailor's Rest to anyone looking for a private getaway.

Alex's place is wonderful. From the moment we arrived we were wowed by the views. The patio is just incredible and we spent many days just relaxing there and by the pool. Alex was so nice and gave us complete privacy, but was available if we needed her. We loved the area and felt like we were in a perfect spot to explore the island. The BioBay is a must-do! The house was clean and we really appreciated having basic cooking supplies and condiments. We'll be back!

Our stay at Alex's place in Judith's Fancy was fabulous. The accommodations were comfortable and clean, and you absolutely could not beat the view. We were delighted to find that the property sits right on a bioluminescent cove where we could see kayakers cruise through after dark. We loved the swim up bar in the pool where we swam under the stars. Overall, this was a trip we will remember forever as one of the best we have ever had.

You could have stayed and just taken it the view and not done another think and you would have been happy! Ella, Tippy and Ira were great company too!!

We had a fabulous visit at Sailor's Rest in Judith's Fancy last week! The views are exactly as shown in the listing and the inside of the apartment is the perfect size for two people. It was clean and well-kept, and Alex was awesome! We had one minor glitch with the internet TV, but she came and took care of it immediately. We also enjoyed having pets around, especially Penny! The location was convenient to both Christiansted and Fredericksted, and the roads in Judith's Fancy put most of the rest of the roads on the island to shame. We will be visiting again soon, and we can't recommend this property enough! If you are looking for a romantic getaway on a beautiful island, this is your place!

Great location. Gated neighborhood. Views can’t be beat! Alex was an amazing host! We really enjoyed meeting our new four-legged friends, Penny and Tippy. Everything was as described. Loved the pool! Kitchen was fully stocked and so was the rest of the house. We would definitely stay here again!

Alex met us upon arrival, showed us around, and made us feel very welcome. The apartment is located so that there is a lot of privacy even when using the shared space and pool. The accommodations are very nice, with lots of extra touches, like robes, beach towels, snorkeling gear. The view is amazing, and the warm ocean breezes invite you to relax and take it all in whether it’s your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Highly recommend!

Our anniversary trip was very well spent at this lovely property! After a morning/afternoon of exploring the St. Croix, we were so pleased to be able to come back to our unit and relax and recharge! The view is fantastic and there is always a breeze on the covered porch. The apartment is private and quiet and location was super convenient to jumping into town for dinner, shopping, etc. Alex and Jay were available for any questions or concerns we had and we loved the visits from the pup. Overall wonderful property!

This is a truly special place. The view is spectacular. The bed and linens are very comfortable. The kitchen fully stocked. Alex, the host, quickly took care of anything we asked of her. This was our first time on St Croix and it won’t be our last. We already book three weeks for next year!

Sailor’s Rest exceeded our expectations and we are very happy with our experience. Restaurants and excursions are all a short drive away. The view from every angle was spectacular. My wife and I stayed here for 10 nights and wanted for nothing. The shared pool was absolutely perfect. Every window had a beautiful view, as well as every seat on the huge outside deck. My wife loved the porch swing! Everything about this place was top notch. Upon arrival, everything was clean and ready for use. We feel that even if they didn't know you were coming, the place would always be ready for guests. Thank you Alex and Jay for a wonderful stay!
