The view of Ithaka from the balcony was stunning. The apartment was very well appointed and spotless. Nikos and his family were excellent hosts, making us feel very welcome.

The location was excellent, the views were amazing. Lovely host, great communication. The apartment was exceptional with everything you need for a comfortable stay and the balcony was perfect to watch the world go by in lovely Sami. We highly recommend Captain Grm and would not hesitate to go back

The open sea view from a spacious balcony allowed us to relax and ‘watch the world go by’, dine al fresco and keep comfortable in the heat of the day without having to remain indoors.
The owners who live next door and their family could not have been more hospitable and helpful.
Restaurants and shops (supermarkets and bakeries for example)in easy walking distance.
We have no negative comments

Captain’s Gem is faultless and has absolutely everything a holiday maker might want or need. It is spacious, has a huge terrace facing the sea as well as balconies in both bedrooms. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you Stella and Nikos!!

We had a wonderful time at Captain’s Gem. Lovely new apartment spotlessly clean on the first floor with magnificent view of the sea and fully equipped with everything we needed. We highly recommend it. The owners were very helpful - thank you Nikos and Eleni!

Location and clean and comfortable appartment
All was perfect, they did all according to Covid rules!
And first of all Angela and her father are very welcoming and the owners wife even gave us a home baked cake! They have the appartment next door and they leave you complete private. They have can do a taxi service as one evening we wanted to have dinner in the capital in Argostoli, and as the roads get very dark as there are not many lanterns we benefitted from this taxi service and had a nice chat with the owner about his life before retirement as a captain.
If we would return one day to Kefalonia we would definitely stay at Captain's Gem again in Sami.
