Peaceful environment, beautiful views, comfort galore. The property lights at night time were a pleasant surprise. Just a few "oh,nooo" comments: laundry was left in the dryer and the washer had some gunk on the inside - the rubber seal when you open it. The dishwasher had spots of mildew in the utensils spot. The wall hook for the curtain in the bedroom broke on the first night - it was barely in the wall. The Keurig was a bonus, 2 touchlanmps in the bedroom with charging ports, large comfy sofa, magnificent views 24 hours a day. The pros outweighed the cons tenfold. The few negatives were only listed because it wasn't expected with the amount of money we paid.

Location was great for our travels to Mystic and to Foxwoods Casino and Mohegan Sun. Views were great as we saw sailboats and others enjoying the water. It was a bit chilly for the time of year to enjoy the patio amd grill. Plenty of space and beds were comfortable. Hope to return during warmer weather.

Property was immaculate and stunning, looks even better in person. Host was responsive and prompt, check in was easy. 10/10 would rent again with my Mom in a wheelchair.

Everything was perfect! This place is clean, conveniently located and the views are breathtaking. The owner was fantastic and made us feel at home. Can't wait to come back again!

Property was nice, with great location. The only issue was centipedes on the ceilings and walls. otherwise ok stay.

I received my confirmation and drove to the location with the door pass code and found someone in my unit. Manager claims VRBO never notified him of this booking which I don't believe. I received at least 4 emails about this booking, do you not send a confirmation to the owners? This left my special weekend for my anniversary in shambles. My wife was very disappointed in me. So she went and booked another hotel 15 miles away. When I called VRBO they offered me a nights stay some where but my wife already booked a room with no refund. I asked them to apply the 1night stay to the new location. So I got screwed 2x's on the same day. This was a horrible experience, we deserve better

Very clean and you don't need to bring anything except food . How wonderful seeing the submarine going by , train going by . There's is things to do . Go to Mystic Pizza no regrets ❤️

Convenient Friendly host.

Location was perfect. Loved the sounds from the naval base in the early moring, 7:50, and 8:00 am. A key concern was pulling out on to the road from the drive way. The bushes needed trimming. A left turn could be deadly. Visibily was so compromised when turning out of the driveway. I would consider that issue a priority in a return visit. And just a side note, there was insuficient tolet paper. Still love the location, and will return.

Home and property are very nice. 2 minutes from the submarine and naval base. 15 minutes from mystic aquarium. Easy access to local stores. Owner was very nice. Train went by at 10pm and 2 am the days we were there. Overall, a very a nice place.

The property was beautiful. It exceeded our expectations and created a perfect family venue to celebrate our son's CGA graduation week! The property manager was very helpful. Our stay could not have been better.

We had an awesome stay. The River view is gorgeous and the submarine in the distance is an added bonus. Just the right size for a family of 4. We were initially a little concerned about how close the train tracks run to the house, but the train only went by twice while we were there earlyish in the evening and again in the mid morning and it was fun for the kids to watch it go by.

The waterfront locations is lovely, and the bedroom and kitchen were clean well equipped. I knew about the potential for trains to pass by overnight and was willing to take a chance, but we had trains at 10:30pm and 2:30am. Around 6:15am I awoke to the sound of footsteps and running from the family upstairs. It was loud enough to wake me and prevent me from getting back to sleep. One concern on cleanliness: the shower curtain looked quite dirty or moldy at the bottom, as did the fan vent in the bathroom.

Great space in a wonderful location. Excellent jump off spot for daily excursions or for lounging and enjoy the picturesque views. We watched Swans, Mergansers, Scaup and a juvenile Bald Eagle While there. We were very pleased to have stayed here.

very spacious and comfortable area. the view was amazing, especially during the sunset. An easy ride to local entertainments such as the casinos. overall great place and worth it!

The property takes advantage of its location on the Thames River with lots of comfortable outdoor seating plus floor to ceiling windows to enjoy the great view whatever the weather.

I enjoyed staying at this property - the views were lovely and it was clean and spacious. The kitchen was adorable and it was a great summer escape!

Great location on the Thames river in Groton, right next to the Submarine museum. Place was clean with three large beds and nice patio outside right on the river. Be prepared for freight trains running right by the apartment at night. We had one at 1030pm and 230 am which was surprising and interesting. We were able to fall right back to sleep.

It was a bachelorette weekend; we were celebrating our lovely bride and we stayed at this great place! It was on the lower level so it was easy access and you could look right out over the water. The place was beautiful and comfortable.

We had a lovely time staying at this apartment. It was quiet and had a beautiful view of the river! There were lots of boat sightings and we were able to see a submarine go by which was very cool! Kids loved it! Lots of room, beds were comfortable, great kitchen space, and outdoor space! Would absolutely recommend! We were two families of 4 and slept comfortably and had lots of space!

The view from this property is truly amazing!! The Gold Star Memorial Bridge, United States Coast Guard Academy, Connecticut College, USS Submarine Nautilus Museum and the US Submarine Base New London are all within view of this property located on the banks if the Thames River. We had the distinct pleasure of seeing two (2) Submarine’s depart from the Sub Base as well as other marine traffic going up and down the Thames river. We also had the pleasure of hearing the USCG Academy and the US Submarine Base play the National Anthem as they raised & lowered the American Flag during morning and evening colors. On occasion a train would also go by the property on the tracks just below the yard. Our dogs loved the property too as we didn’t always have to have them leashed. The yard was a somewhat secure and restricted area for them to walk. The apartment was well equipped having everything you would need. The outdoor amenities included two (2) seating areas to enjoy the view, dinner or an intimate glass of wine. Overall, the property was a very relaxing, enjoyable and peaceful place to stay. We highly recommend it and look forward to returning again.

Easy. Convenient and very accurate

Great property with a gorgeous views on the river. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of space. The only small thing was the noise from having people living above but if you are prepared for it you will have no problems. Overall, great experience and great host.

Absolutely loved staying by the water and watching the sunsets each evening. We were lucky enough to see a submarine go by on the river. A great experience!
