The apartment was clean, nicely decorated and within walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, etc. The view was absolutely stunning. The best part was it was a short walk to the beach. I would recommend a small car if you’re going to park in the garage - it’s very narrow. We did have a medium sized car and it fit, but it was nerve-wracking to park. That certainly didn’t detract from the lovely experience we had overall. Thank you!!

We loved our stay here! We've been to this area many times over the years and this is one of our favorite rentals because of the views and location. We just stood on the upstairs balcony and at the kitchen windows to watch the beautiful sunsets and ocean waves less than a block away! Walking into town, to the MB pier or to a multitude of restaurants took no more than 5 minutes. The apartment was well furnished and very clean and it was wonderful to have bikes, towels, umbrellas and beach chairs to use! Communication with the owner was wonderful and they were very accommodating. Five stars all the way around!

We visited Manhattan Beach for the first time and will definitely be back! The location of this property is perfect for beach-lovers and also walking distance to the many restaurants and shops - we didn't even need a car. The vibe in MB is so chill and friendly and Mary was so lovely to work with and very responsive. Honestly cannot say enough good things about our stay! Thanks, Mary!

This is quintessential Manhattan Beach living. The sounds of the ocean, the short walk to The Strand, short walk to the center of the shopping and dining. Easy garage parking. The home was clean and included everything needed for a relaxing vacation. Communication was perfect. We loved our stay here!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at this property. It's the PERFECT location in Manhattan Beach—just a few minutes to walk into the heart of restaurants, coffee, shops, etc. and a few minutes to the Strand and Beach. The home is actually even better than the photos — there was PLENTY of room for my husband and I, and everything was super comfortable. The host was always responsive and helpful. We fell in love with Manhattan Beach staying here! 💛

This property is terrific! It's nestled just off the beach and a short walk to the pier with tons of restaurants and shops nearby. The sweeping ocean views out the windows were captivating. We especially appreciated the beach chairs and bikes. When planning another trip to MB I will try to book this place again for sure.

This was our second stay at this location and love everything about it. The views to the ocean, access to the strand, easy walk to shops and restaurants and our hosts were fabulous!

We stayed here for a week in Manhattan Beach. You can’t beat the location! You are one house away from the sand! The renters were very kind and easy to deal with. They are sitting on a goldmine with this property and it could be unreal! The living room furniture is very used and not very clean. We found we had to wash everything before using it in the kitchen and even then some of the pots and dishes are ready to be replaced. A little reno of this home would do it well. There are quite a few notes around the house explaining how to use things that don’t work properly. Again, the renters were kind but we won’t be renting again.

Perfect get away- comfortable space with killer views. Mary was very accommodating. Would recommend.

This beach view property was perfect for celebrating my Birthday! It is located steps away from the beach, Bars/ Restaurants, Shops, it also had 3 bikes to ride the strand. The home is very welcoming, clean, nicely decorated and a perfect retreat. Mary was an attentive and welcoming hostess. We completely enjoyed the property and look forward to our future stays. The location could hardly be better: steps from the beach and close to shops and restaurants in the village. Outstanding view: we enjoyed a magnificent ocean sunset. The unit has plenty of room and good division of space, but the overall effect is a bit shabby: old, grubby carpet in bedrooms, stains on bedding in master bedroom, bare walls with picture hangers but no pictures on them; shaky internet. Could be spectacular, but needs refreshing. Doug and Mary were pleasant and responsive.

Spent a wonderful week at this great VRBO with 4 of my cousins. The location couldn't be better. We parked the car the day we arrived and didn't drive it again until the day we left. Everything we wanted was within walking distance--the beach, shops, excellent restaurants, grocery stores. All that and the sound of the surf and the view of the pristine beach and the ocean were there for our enjoyment. The unit is as lovely as pictured. Sleeping accommodations are perfect for 4 but worked great for 5 because one of us has trouble sleeping and preferred to sleep where she wouldn't disturb anyone. She found the daybed in the living room comfortable and to her liking. We were delighted to find 3 bicycles and beach chairs in the garage. The garage is on the narrow side and felt a bit tight for our larger vehicle. You would probably prefer parking a sedan in there rather than a larger vehicle. I would love to return here with my husband.

Great location near downtown manhattan beach. Close to the beach and Resteraunt's. The condo was very comfortable clean, and nicely setup. Had a great time.

I loved the area, the owners, the peacetime of the water and the layout. I slept like a baby every night.

This property surpassed our high hopes. Mary and Doug were gracious and attentive hosts and the accommodations were classy and comfortable. Most of all, the view and location are spectacular. We took full advantage of the very close proximity to the beach and shops, and we never tired of watching the waves break, which was possible from almost every window and deck. It was our favorite place ever - thanks Mary and Doug!
