Pros: This was in a great location- 7 minute walk to the beach and 10-20 minute walk to other amenities. Kitchen had almost everything you might need and the house itself is super cute and overall pretty comfortable! Cons: Unfortunately checkin is not the most simple (have to pick up and drop off keys at the beach rental- which is about a 10 minute walk from the beach house). Swapping to an electric key pad would make checkin/checkout a lot easier (especially when coming in from out of town with no cars). With 6 people staying we expected to have 2 working toilets and one of the toilets was not working the entire time. Seems that the rental company has been aware of this for a while and has not fixed it (we’re paying for 2 bathrooms, and expect to be able to use both). WiFi also did not work our entire time, and there are no beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, cart, etc. When we arrived there was only 1 roll of TP per bathroom and maybe half a roll of paper towels. For the price of the house, I’d highly recommend the rental company addressing these issues to make for a more convenient and comfortable stay for guests. Loved the house and location, but the lack of basic needs and the lack of functional items that we paid for would make me less inclined to rent from this place again.

Overall, a pleasant stay. I would stay there again and I would recommend it to others. Updated property with minor issues which is to be expected- toilet did not flush properly in one bathroom and a couple of non essential doors and locks did not work but management offered to address when we reported the issues. The issues were not significant so we declined. Beach was a 5 to 10 minute walk from the house. Recommendations: for the rental price, would like to see a larger essential stock supply of items like toilet paper, detergent, dishwashing soap, etc. would also recommend providing beach amenities such as beach wagon, beach chairs, beach umbrella for guest use so we don’t have to bring or purchase our own for the week.

We enjoyed our stay in this clean and spacious home just a 4 minute walk to beautiful Pensacola Beach. Thank you for being dog friendly! The yard is fenced (tall fence on most, short fence along one side). We will certainly stay here again!

The proximity to Paradise and other establishments was wonderful. The gulf is probably a 3-minute walk away. Outdoor spaces were great, especially the hammock on the ground level. We didn't have dogs but there is a perfect enclosed yard for one. The only negatives were that the house did not cool evenly for some reason and the bath towels could stand to be replaced as they were worn and scratchy.

It’s was a beautiful home and just a 5 minute walk to the beach. Neighborhood was quiet. Plenty of towels but there was only two of us. Loved having the many outside sitting areas. Comfy beds and furniture. The back of the living room remote kept coming off. Tape will fix that. Confusion on the garbage or recycle cans when you put to the street, but we just asked a neighbor. That could be spelled out a little better and placed in the welcome package. Over all I would stay here again.

This house was amazing for us, our two teenagers, and two dogs. Everything was immaculately clean and had everything we could have needed. The kids loved the privacy of the bedrooms and the hammock to do what teenagers do, which is sulk around and text their friends, even though they're at the beach. The husband and I loved that we could easily walk or bike to the beach or restaurants and shops! The master bath was our favorite part. So big and bright with the perfect shower, amazing pressure. Dogs loved being able to run around a fenced back yard and go for long walks in the neighborhood. I would definitely recommend this house and we will be booking this house again if we ever come back!

My family and I decided to stay out on the beach of our hometown for a few days to celebrate my youngest child’s birthday. We’re familiar with the area so knew the house was well located for what we wanted. The check in was interesting because normally, key pads are used but this required an in-person key pick up (no big deal). When we checked into the property, my husband and I do what we always do before fully settling: we checked the property for issues to ensure they were documented and not blamed on us. There were a few blinds broken, and both showers were dirty. The place smelled a bit of mold but it’s not uncommon in older homes on the beach. When we called the property management company to let them know the shower was dirty (a visible film on the drain with clumps of hair), their response was “Do you want us to send someone out to clean it up?” Which, of course, we did. The TVs are very outdated but again, no big deal since we planned on spending our time outdoors anyways. My husband went to take a shower before bed and realized that one of the features mentioned - the steam shower - wasn’t working. It was late and after hours so we said we would just mention it at check out. When I went to bed that night, I noticed fur still in the sheets but was so tired, I didn’t worry about it (I have pets of my own so it is what it is). The next morning, a huge storm came through the beach. This showcased the leaks in the ceiling that were making various parts of the floor wet. The power was out and we couldn’t get in touch with the property management company - even though it was during their open hours - so we made the quick drive up there to figure out what to do and to also make sure they knew the power was out on the property. Since we’re local, we said we’d be happy to raincheck the weekend and come out at a later time or see if they had a different property that was comparable to the one that we were in but in better repair. They said they would just refund us and we could leave OR they could give us extra towels for the leaks in the ceiling. We took the refund, which is now causing more issues. But really? Towels for leaks in the roof? What if we were from out of town and just stuck? We had the luxury of leaving and taking the refund. We found out, though, that the refund wasn’t even half of what we paid for the total stay. We booked 3 nights and stayed less than 18 hours. I do NOT recommend staying so long as Paradise Beach runs it.

Definitely much smaller than the picture portrays. There was a gross stain on the quilt on my bed when i arrived, that wasn’t a good start. They quickly replaced it. Coffee maker didn’t work, we all tried it. We locked ourselves out and they quickly got us another key for $50. Would go with less people again. It doesn’t comfortably sleep 6.

Overall, we would recommend this place, especially if you have a dog. It was a great February to be in warmer weather instead of in the Midwest with the snow and cold. The fenced yard was setup well for the dog to get to enjoy the outdoors without us having to be outside watching her. The house was also within 10 minutes of both dog beaches which made frequent visits easy. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We prepared many meals in the kitchen and found nearly everything we needed to cook with. The master bed was very comfortable and we appreciated the other 2 bedrooms when our guests came for a week. The efficient closets had a mix of shelving and hanging space which worked well. While others mentioned concerns with the sofa, it was either cleaned or replaced by the time we arrived and it was comfortable and clean. The dining table could have been in better condition. It seems to have substantial water damage and we had to carefully layout place-mats and dishes when we had to seat 4 people to reduce the curling of the top. The upper deck was a wonderful place to enjoy the sun and nice winter temperatures. The grill was well maintained and we used it several times over the month. The management company was friendly and received some Amazon shipments for us. Upon arrival, several light bulbs were burned out and a key remote for the surround sound had dead batteries. It took a few days to get these items replaced, but when the maintenance man did arrive, he was friendly and easy to work with.
