Great family environment and safe beach for all ages. Centrally located and almost always sunny. Already thinking of when we could back again. :-)

This is our fifth or sixth trip at Sugar Beach is absolutely magical. Beach access from the condo, only 10 steps, is the best! The unit is clean, comfortable, great bed. You can walk to the local bakery/coffee shop, /shave ice. You’re close to Kihei, but not right in it. It’s quiet there. Great place to go with adult friends or the kids. Love going there with the grandkids. On site management, Connie and Patrick, they are the best. We will be back.

Once again Kihei Sands is our place to stay when we visit Maui. It is a small resort that is well taken care of. Beautiful Sugar beach is steps away. When in season you can see whales from shore and turtles will pop their heads up. It's a short walk to the ABC store and the farmers market. We couldn't find anything to criticize. We will definitely return later this year.

We normally stay in West Maui and decided it was best to find a different option. The Kihei Sands jumped out at me while doing my research. We loved that the property is small. It made it easy to be together as a family even though we had separate units. The patio is a wonderful gathering area. It has great outdoor furniture and was very welcoming.

We stayed at Kihei Sands Beachfront Condominiums. The condo itself was very clean and had all the amenities a you would ever need. It was a great base to get to all of the attractions we wanted to experience while there. Every morning there was coffee for everyone to enjoy on the patio and chat with other Kihei residents. Every evening was "happy hour" with many of the same residents who were so inclusive and friendly. They were quick to offer suggestions for us to consider beyond what we already had planned. The Kihei Sands Beachfront Condominiums was a perfect spot for us. The beach was easily walkable and swimming in the ocean was awesome as there was a long transition before it got deeper than my chest. Overall, this spot rates a "10" in my mind.

This place is the perfect vacation spot. Close enough to all we wanted to do without the crazy crowds. There were a couple of things that were bothersome with the three condos we rented. One of the units had human hair in the shower when we arrived and a couple roach type bugs in the same bathroom. Towel racks falling off the wall in another and the door code that quit working a couple of days before departure; that one was corrected quickly, thankfully.

Enjoyed our 28 days , and 13th stay at Kihei Sands, a one of a kind complex on the most walkable beach on Maui! The welcoming patio is where we spent many hours with our friends that we looked forward to seeing year after year. The property owners are lucky to have Patrick who is absolutely wonderful with any issues on site that came up, and Connie is great at multi tasking in the office and always had a smile for me! We have stayed at Kihei Sands over a dozen times and just love it. It's clean, right on the water, "home feel" with the patio tables and bbq's for all to use and not a large facility so the beach is not crowded. And it's centrally located on Maui so very convenient.

We have only stayed at Kihei Sands since we first discovered this gem over 16 years ago. It has always felt like a second home to us. Although management has changed several times over those years, they are always the best, caring, and professional team. Although a number of units were damaged in the excessive rains of December 2021, repairs were progressing and looking fresh and updated. Always look forward to our next visit as the location is perfect for any adventures on the island.

We have been coming to Kihei Sands since I was a child so I've seen it stay the same and have some changes. The current owners do a nice job keeping it up and it's very quiet and peaceful. We love that it's on the beach and overall pretty inexpensive. The one negative we had this time was that they started charging for late checkout since that last time I stayed. It didn't say anything about that in the welcome packet (just to ask if it was available) and so I did and it was $60. Seems a bit steep if you don't have anyone checking in. Other than that possible charge, all was great and our stay was lovely.

This is just a great place to stay. The small complex leaves you just steps from the beach. Coffee on the patio every morning while looking at an empty beach is a real treat. The managers are friendly and the place is kept clean and neat. Our unit was nicely furnished with all that we needed and the AC kept the unit cool and comfortable all the time. Many guests don't want to take their beach equipment home so the managers have a storage spot near the pool where you can find beach chairs, kids toys, pool noodles, and boogie boards for your use. A great feature. We really enjoy the place and have been staying here for 25 years on numerous trips. A great place!!

The condo was in a great location, very well maintained, clean, bed was comfortable and shower was great. The condo itself was small but for two people certainly comfortable. TV was a bit difficult to get going it seemed as though it took 15-30 minutes each day to turn on. Not sure why asked for help but the lady Karrie had no idea what to do. My recommendation is a bit more instructions for this issue. Otherwise it was a great place to stay and enjoy Maui.

We stayed in A13, was a great unit, very comfortable, well maintained unit. We were a group of four families staying in 4 different units in the building. The patio area was a great place to be able to meet as a family and eat together. Kids had so much fun in the pool and on the Beach. Was a nice small complex with lots of perks. Great for multiple families wanting to travel together.

The check-in was great. Parking easy. Great small location and I had an early cup of coffee each AM. Good beach and plenty of lounging room. Only used the pool once, clean and inviting. The only issue were the roach's in the kitchen. We made the management aware, but they said they had just treated the unit and we might see dead insects in the morning. The management should have recalled the exterminator. we experienced a dwindling population all week. Dave Gabel
