We absolutely loved the Nut Hut. The pool table and pin ball machine were crowd pleasers. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub a lot as well! Thanks for a great week.

Perfect location and layout of the house for a large group. We had a fabulous week. The pool and hot tub were an added bonus! It was so nice to be able to meet the owners at the end of the week! Joyce is so sweet, thanks for opening your beach house to us. Pinball was a great challenge to our group. Kids loved it more than video games!

This property was beautiful and very comfortable for our 10 family members which included 3 children 3 years and younger. Location was just a short walk to the beach and the little kids loved the pool. The authentic pinball machine and pool table was great fun! Neighborhood was quiet and very walkable to stores and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

The Nut Hut is even better than the pictures! My family (5 adults, 5 kids (1-6yr old)) had the best time! Location was perfect… walking distance to the beach, booty treats, food lion, and more. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, the pool was awesome. We swam in the pool every single day…my kids loved it! We plan to come back for another stay in the future.

This property was exceptional. The home was large enough for 6 adults and 3 kids (2 under 2). It had most items needed for cooking. The pool was clean however too cold for us (late may) but the jacuzzi more than made for it. 2 blocks from the beach and located perfectly from a great ice cream stand and grocery store. Parks nearby as well. I would certainly stay again.

Perfect for a group gathering spot. Beach access was close and property was amazing with swimming pool and spa, pool table and even a pinball machine! Lots of covered decks and a large area for sunning by the pool.

We had a great time on this getaway! Beautiful property and great location to the beach. Enjoyed the ice cream shop on the walk to the beach! It was also convenient being so close to a grocery store and the other places we were visiting! Overall great vacation!

Enjoyed the front porch in the morning before everyone else got up. The neighborhood is quiet. The house is clean and the decor was great! The owners of the property were very responsive thru the whole rental process.

This house was just as described, very clean, nice pool area, and in a great location! Short walk to beach, but plenty of parking at the beach access if you wanted to drive. Great communication with owners, would definitely stay here again!!

Even nicer than the pics. Game room was great. Plenty of room for everyone. Close enough to the beach. Only downside was the pool was perfectly warm Sun-Tues and then after the pool guy was there Wed, it was freezing cold the rest of the week.

We took an extended family trip down to Nags Head and could not have asked for a better experience. The house was impeccable. Beautifully maintained and exceptionally clean when we arrived. We cooked most of our meals at the house and the kitchen was more than adequately stocked. Bedrooms and layout made sure we all had our own space without getting in each others way for a whole week. The beach access was super close and convenient and the closet was well stocked with beach chairs, floaties, and a wagon to get everything down to the ocean. The best part was how close to the ice cream shop the house was…an after dinner treat every night. The only thing to keep in mind is that the pool area really doesn’t have any shade; if you plan on spending an afternoon or two sitting around the pool it can get quite toasty. Not a huge deal, we just brought a small canopy and set it up in the corner to give some shade and it worked perfectly. But I would definitely suggest something to hide from the hot summer sun. Gem of a beach house and the kids are already asking when we will go back.

10 stars across the board for this adorable property. Clean, updated, super close to the beach. The house has been updated since the photos listed were taken, so it's actually nicer than the listing shows! We will DEFINITELY be staying in this home again! Extra thanks to the owner for tracking some items we left in the kitchen and for making special arrangements for us to pick them up two weeks later.

We had 2 families that consisted of 8 kids (ages 12-2) and 4 adults. The house layout was perfect for us, bathrooms attached or right next to all bedrooms, kitchen fully stocked, pool and hot tub were amazing and someone came, cleaned, inspected both while we were there. The outdoor shower was a lifesaver with 8 kids playing in the ocean/beach all day! Beach access was awesome! Turned the corner down the street and there it was! Easy 3 min walk even with 8 kids in tow! Ice cream shop was on the way to and from the beach!!! Food Lion was nearly in the back yard as was a coffee shop that had excellent coffee! None of us had any complaints on our stay, only good times had by all! I would highly recommend for families wanting to stay in OBX!

Perfect family vacation home with a great pool and hot tub. Plenty of space, tastefully decorated, with a nicely appointed kitchen. The game room was a favorite! Easy walk to the beach and ice cream. Grocery store also within walking distance. Plenty to do and see. Quiet neighborhood off the main road. Owner was so very sweet and helpful! Would definitely stay here again!

Family went for 5 days in Sept and the property was perfect. Quiet street but walkable to beach and supermarket so great for kids. House was immaculate and had everything we needed to stay with a 6 and 2 year old. Pool came in handy for rough surf days. Very recommended.
