This is a nice property room by friendly staff. I wish I had a lather room. The look of the room was exactly as portrayed, however there were better selections that I was not aware of.

Staff were friendly and very responsive. Great location and close to downtown Manteo and beaches. I like that it was 21+ only - quiet and peaceful, allows you to appreciate the surroundings and view. Will definitely stay here again.

A 20 year USAF veteran been all over the world Burris house is a must get away for a couple. Serene beauty quiet just a great get a way. Beautifully decorated suite comfortable just can’t say enough. I highly recommend this place. A once in a lifetime experience.

Beautiful romantic spot with lots of charm. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating! Wonderful way to spend our anniversary. We will definitely be back!!

This place feels like home. From the moment you arrive everyone is super friendly and helpful. The inn is unique in that every room is different. The property is very well maintained and clean. They have a few common areas for you to have a drink around the bonfire or inside seating for you to kick back and relax. You can tell the people that manage the inn truly want you to enjoy yourself. The views are incredible and the breakfast was delicious. They had warm croissant sandwiches, cinnamon rolls, yogurt, bagels, and these delicious spinach feta breakfast sandwiches. So good. Keurig cups for days if you ever want some fresh brewed coffee. This is a special place, we are already planning our trip back.

Literally nothing. Loved everything about it. Its not very handicap accessible, but I think they are going to try and put in an elevator.

Staff was nice. Shelly was very pleasant, helpful & informative . Suite was comfy. Enjoyed the amenities; bikes, yummy breakfast options, Keurig in room for morning coffee❤️. We found the private balcony relaxing & pretty views from the enclosed back porch. Centrally located. Lots to do if you choose. Manteo is a quaint little town & we would definitely choose Burrus House if we revisit.

Extremely helpful staff with tips for any questions we had . Even let us park our van on the property when we checked out so we could ride our bikes around the Island fit the day !

The staff was so accommodating - they checked multiple times a day to see if we needed anything, if we were comfortable, etc. The view from our room was amazing. And it was within walking distance to our favorite Manteo restaurant!. The rooms are newly renovated - completely re-done. Bed was very comfortable. Towels were very plush and soft.

Still needs tweaking with furnishings to make comfortable. No elevator. No local tv channels, streaming service only.
