This is an breathtakingly beautiful location, totally oceanfront with whales swimming by. The unit is large and comfortable. The living room couches and chairs were comfortable for reading, and the couch on the upstairs lanai was particularly nice for reading and viewing the ocean. The lower deck has a dining table and chairs, and we ate breakfast there most days. The beds have foam padding toppers - if you like a softer bed you will love these. The bedding was all well-cleaned. The bedroom dressers had ample storage space and insides of drawers were clean. The kitchen is very well equipped - the owners invite guests to use the various oils, seasonings, etc., and to replace what is used up. They also left laundry detergent, which was much appreciated. They have a lot of food storage containers, and even some ice packs and a picnic bag so you can keep your lunch chilled on the beach. Various outdoor chairs and snorkeling items were provided, also much appreciated! The pool club is a short walk and great for lunch, drinks, or dinner. There is a lovely little workout room there as well. We would definitely stay here again if the unit were available for our travel dates.

What a perfect place to take your family. Lots of space, beautiful views, and tons of stuff like chairs, snorkels and pickle ball to use that make your stay that much better.

Incredible ocean views from lanais. Beautiful grounds. Great restaurants nearby. We have traveled to the Big Island many times. We were very content to watch whales from the lanais. We would definitely return! Thank you.

Condo exceeded our expectations! Immaculate and so thoughtfully stocked with essentials. Lanai views were amazing of the Pacific. Upstairs lanai was our favorite spot with the oh so comfortable sectional seating. The Ocean Club was convenient and food was delicious and reasonably priced. Will definitely be back and renting this beautiful condo again!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. It was amazing that they had snorkles and boogie boards and chairs to use at the beach. Our kiddos were SO excited when we found those. We appreciated the amentities they included like spices, Hawaiian coffee, etc, but make sure you pick up napkins, paper towels and a sponge when you go to the store because we forgot those! The view was AMAZING and location was great. Our only negative feedback is that it was that the pillows were very much lacking, only 1 non decorative pillow per person (there were 6 of us) and the cleaning people didn't do a great job cleaning the home before we got there. The towels in the bathrooms were still very damp when we checked in and much of the furniture was quite dusty. Thanks for a great stay and we will be back!

The views were stunning! The perfect spot for our vacation! The condo had so much room and was spotless. Great kitchen. Both Decks all you see is water. The gym area was ocean front by the pool and restaurant. Live music poolside and by restaurant. What a great surprise. Mark was the best VRBO host we have had. Responsive and full of great info! There is a great book he put together that’s in the condo with lots of helpful hints! We will definitely return!!!!

3 older couples finally made it after our original plan was derailed by COVID. Fantastic location, pool, Ocean Club restaurant. Complex has the best landscaping in area. Ocean view was excellent. Beaches near by.

The property was beautiful and spacious as described. We highly recommend the Hali’i Kai community having enjoyed stays in various units the last 5 trips to Hawaii so it always feels like home. This oceanfront property offers two spacious lanais to take in the spectacular sunsets and enjoy the stunning ocean views. The well thought out unit offers plenty of space, a well appointed kitchen, and is beautifully decorated. The owners also took the time to label light switches to make our lives easier. We reached out to Mark at our initial check in and he was incredibly responsive and helpful. We enjoyed nightly sunsets and when we weren’t exploring would enjoy the breezy lanai taking in a meal or cocktails. Truly a wonderful location, we would absolutely stay in this unit again. 5⭐️

The condo was perfect: clean, spacious and the most well equipped place we have stayed. The kitchen had everything. The lanais have beautiful ocean views. The location of the condo was also just a short walk to the pool/Ocean Club. The owner, Mark was very responsive to all our questions! Definitely would stay here again!

Beautiful location - sunsets were AMAZING. Very quiet property. Somewhat busy because of spring break, but the pool was never crowded. Ocean Club food and staff were great. Mark could not have been easier to work with. He was helpful, responsive and gave great recommendations. The condo had everything we needed and we loved our stay. It went by too fast!

We loved sitting on the balcony watching the ocean. Saw several whales one day right from the balcony. The entire condo was well stocked for all our needs, especially the kitchen. Short walk to the pool. The owner was quick to answer questions and left a nice welcome gift. Would definitely stay here again!

This was our second time staying here. It was just as amazing the second time as the first. The condo is perfect—location and condo. Every day we saw many (MANY) whales and about half the time saw spinner dolphins. We love the layout of the condo and the 2 lanais. Mark, the owner, was very responsive to every question we had. We so enjoyed our stay and plan to go back again!

Everything about this condo is excellent. Just a short walk from the pool and restaurant, right on the ocean. We watched whales swim by and watched the sunset every night. The condo itself is beyond well stocked and it was awesome to make dinners every night to relax after busy days. Bedrooms, bathrooms, all rooms were as listed and immaculate. It was great to have a home away from home for a few days instead of a hotel. We appreciate you having us, and we'll be back in the future if schedules a line. Thank you.

This spacious, well equipped condo provides all the conveniences of home in a place nothing like home - two Oceanside balconies, a tennis court/pickle ball court and Oceanclub pool. The kitchen is wonderfully well equipped, the deck has a terrific grill. And the resort area has bike rentals, golf courses, beach access and snorkeling. Old Hawaiian walking trails and petroglyphs provide a taste of the island’s history preserved. Perfect place to relax in perfect weather, nighttime clear skies with myriad stars to gaze at - restorative holiday.

Enjoyed watching the ocean activity from our lanai and the close proximity to the pool club. Grounds are beautiful and meticulously maintained. Kitchen and laundry room was well stocked and we appreciated having multiple towels. Owner is responsive and home was very clean when we arrived.

We had a wonderful time at the property--the well appointed kitchen and gear for a day outing to the beach made for an easy and pleasant stay.

There are too many stairs to climb to the front door and inside to the bedrooms… not too convenient for elderly people who may have difficulty walking. Other small concerns were conveyed directly to the host. Th r location and the view are by far the major highlights of this rental.

Absolutely everything that you can need for a comfortable stay. The black lava rocks along the coastline are spectacular. The bedding was clean and high end. Loved the kitchen and supplies. Location is very convenient and beautiful. I highly recommend this place for adults that want tofeel truly rested and comfortable.

It was so nice to have the little things provided (like dish soap, a clean sponge and beach towels). The views from the balconies was amazing, especially at sunset. Appliances were all top-notch if you want to cook on your stay (we chose to eat out). The community pool is beautiful and only about a 2 minute walk. The food at the pool restaurant was delicious and very fresh. The owner was quick to reply to emailed questions and even reached out to make sure we got checked in okay. I can't say enough good things. My only complaint, and it wasn't a big deal, was that the master bedroom mattress was a bit of a dome so I felt like I was sleeping on a hill. Overall my husband, myself and our two teenage children were all very comfortable and would totally stay here again! Highly recommend :)
