Stayed there on business with a couple of colleagues and after a long day, it was great to come back and relax. Incredible view!!

This was a phenomenal property to stay at with great ocean and strand views. El Porto surfing is right next door so you really get to watch the waves and surfers battle it out. The apartment accommodations were exactly what we needed and as advertised. I couldn’t have asked for a better vacation rental. We’ll be back!

We loved our stay at the Sackley's home. The view can't be beat of the beach and the ocean and loved hearing the waves at night while going to sleep. We also enjoyed walking on the Strand (pedestrian walking path that stretches from Venice Beach in the north to Palos Verdes in the south) every day where there are lots of restaurants, shopping, and terrific people watching along the way and relaxing on the balcony overlooking the Strand. The Sackley's home was super clean and comfortable and they are so thoughtful, kind, and helpful. My friends, Dad, and I were in town for the weekend for a friend's birthday party and all felt like we were on a vacation given the beach and vibe of the area. Highly recommend.

The property exceeded my families expectations and everyone was extremely happy with the accommodations. You couldn't ask for a better location (close to everything in the LA area) with great views of the ocean! Shannon was very responsive and great to deal with when booking.

If you are looking for a perfect oceanfront view - this is it. The house was charming, clean, large and as advertised in every way. But the star is the ocean view. Shannon was friendly and accommodating with our needs. She informed us of a fireworks show so we wouldn't miss it from the balcony and made sure we had everything we needed while there. So glad we had a chance to stay and I am certain we will be back again. Stay here and enjoy it :)

I stayed here for a weekend with my family and had a great time. The house is clean and spacious, and the kitchen is equipped with everything needed to make a feast. We fell asleep every night listening to the soundtrack of the waves crashing on shore, just a few yards ahead... So relaxing! We will certainly come back next time we stay in LA- Shannon is an amazing host, and was really accommodating!

The home was absolutely lovely! We could not spend enough time on the balcony soaking up views of the crashing waves and the surfers. The rooms are very spacious and accommodating and the kitchen had everything you'd need. The host was wonderful and her Mom who greeted us was also very pleasant. We adore Manhattan Beach as it offers many great restaurants and bars, but allows you to avoid the mob scene in the more northern beaches of Venice and Santa Monica. We even did the entire 44 mile roundtrip bike ride along the Marvin Breude trail and if you get the chance to do so we HIGHLY recommend. Can't say enough about the place and truly hope to return sometime soon!

Our family of four and my in laws a total of six, fits perfectly in the condo. The views were Amazingly Beautiful! Very relaxing vacation. The neighbors on the first floor very nice and friendly. My only complaint is the neighbors in the second floor, complained to the owner that we were walking to much and they could here us. The rest of the trip we tipped toed every where we walked. We were very respectful and I think they just complained because they know it’s a VRBO condo.

We had a fantastic stay at the penthouse! It was a perfect location for our family/friends and Shannon and her family were very attentive to all of our needs. The view is unbeatable and the unit is very clean and spacias. We will definitely be coming back at some point! Highly recommended.

The accommodations were great and the location on the beach was good. We had fun sitting on the balcony watching the sunsets.

My family stayed for 5 nights at this wonderful apartment. The location was amazing- directly on the beach! We enjoyed watching the surfers in the morning and biking along The Strand in the afternoons. The apartment is very comfortable and the hosts are super helpful. My daughters can't wait to go back for a longer visit.

The sound of the surf + 180degee views from Palos Verdes to Malibu made this an ideal vacation location. The property was recently remodeled with hardwood floors, newer s/s appliances, fireplace and view balcony. Would recommend this to anyone seeking a truly relaxing vacation at "The Beach". Ok so maybe I got carried away with the title, but this place is wonderful. I spent the month of December here and enjoyed every minute of it. I had company every weekend and everyone loved the spaciousness and layout of the unit. We spent some time cooking our own meals and liked that the kitchen was large enough for several of us prepping at the same time. We found it to be well stocked. Right outside the kitchen was a separate little area for coffee which made it easy to come in off the deck to get another cup. Another plus for me was the wine frig, except I had to keep refilling it since a glass of wine at sunset became a daily ritual starting on the first day. The unit has a washer dryer so that made my stay so much easier not having to worry about finding a laundromat nearby. The master suite and guest room are set back from living area so if someone wanted to turn in early, privacy wasn't an issue. Size of master suite was more than ample and that bed is sooo comfortable. Loved the water pressure in the shower. The location is great - steps from the beach. I enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the surfers do their thing and once in a while get to watch a volley ball game - the nets are that close. It wasn't a problem for me to be a mile from town. I liked the El Porto area, everyone i met was very friendly. I walked to the hair & nail salon up the block and ended up walking to the FishBar restaurant several times a week. There is a great sushi restaurant nearby too. My guests & I also enjoyed a local place for late breakfasts & there are several all within a short distance & easy walk. Just a short drive away were several shopping centers & an Arclight cinema. Town is full of cute shops & boutiques if you're into that and some outstanding restaurants. I had a car for my visit but if I didn't feel like driving to town, which was often in the evenings, I took an Über and the fare was just $5 each way. I highly recommend staying here - there are no hotels nearby - and having a fully equipped vacation rental is something everyone should try. Ease of renting & staying here was a pleasure since the on-site manager Gaylene went out of her way to make sure our needs were met. She was also very knowledgeable about the area & gave us several recommendations. I definitely will come back again & again!!

This is an exceptional ocean front large luxury unit. We such a wonderful stay at this beautiful Manhattan Beach penthouse. The views are amazing from almost every room! We had coffee watching the surfers every morning and wine while enjoying the sunset every evening. Gaylene, the on-site manager helped us with local restaurant recommendations and even a masseuse who comes to the house! We spent hours researching the area and found this to be the best deal in fact in comparison to others this was definitely the best value by far. Walking distance to the Pier and downtown Manhattan Beach. The beach is your front yard. The unit is well equipped with everything you could possible need. Cuddle in front of the fireplace while you listen to the sweet sounds of the ocean waves. I wish I could stay forever. Best Mother's Day weekend ever!

I joined my family for a Thanksgiving here. The property was spacious and comfortable for our extended family - we enjoyed nightly sunsets while sipping wine and the beach was so close the kids were in and out all day - very convenient! We plan to come again this summer.
