Good to stay at this villa. Really accessible to the road and cafes, spas, yoga area. Great service from the staff. Nice pool, drinking water provided and good to have a fridge/cooker. Couldn't really spend much time in the living areas in the evenings as there were lots of mosquitoes about. Tiled areas were slippery when it rained.

This precious villa genuinely made me to look into how to permanently move to Bali. The peacefulness, relaxation, and walk renting made me fall in love with Ubud every morning. Everyone was so responsive on all platforms & they even surprised my boyfriend with a bouquet of flowers for his birthday! Juli was our driver - highly recommend! He is so kind & the best driver to have on the lawless roads! I will be back!

Villa is an oasis for relaxation and rest. Having the 2 separate bedrooms were perfect for myself and grandgirls. The pool was very refreshing even for an evening swim. All you hear at night is the forest nightlife and what you hear in the morning is the forest waking up with various sounds of birds. You also wake to hearing meditation sounds that start at 0800 apprx. and lasts for about an hour or so. Very meditative sound for relaxation. Housekeeping is done daily with exception detail. You can hire the driver as well and we had an exceptionally excellent driver "Kadek". Request him and you will be thankful you did. We came to Bali as guests and we left feeling like family. Villa Puseh was exactly what I was searching for to honor my late husbands 1 year passing. Thank you for the memories and the peace and quiet my soul desperately needed after a long hard and sad year. Blessings to you all...

So glad we found this place, and that I read the other reviews, because the pictures for this villa don’t do it justice! The villa is beautiful, with a sparkling pool surrounded in lush garden. It was the perfect size for my partner, myself, and our 6 month baby. We also loved the location with lots of great restaurants just steps away, a fancy coffee place out the front, and a massage place that we visited twice. Definitely our favourite stay in Bali and hope we can visit again.

Villa was clean and welcoming with beautiful Indonesian style furnishings and pool. Green, tropical courtyard area and amazing part outdoor bathrooms. Easily located near lots of cafes and warungs. We were looked after really well by Juli when we went on some day trips to surrounding sites. Thanks so much!

Villa Laba Puseh was perfect for our two months in Ubud. Very close to every thing we need. Great restaurants, yoga facilities and easy walk to Ubud and close to many other walking experiences. We would love to return next year.

Overall, Laba Puseh was great and plan on rebooking when i come back. Staff was awesome and pool was nice when I just wanted to relax. Villa is located just behind BaliHampton. Food was good and will deliver.

Great stay in the beauty and busyness of Ubud. Very good restaurants nearby and 20 minute walk on very busy roadways into the centre of Ubud. Ricefelds walk from central Ubud was fabulous. Villa was lovely with AC bedrooms and outside kitchen and living area. Mosquitos there at night. Good little swimming pool to cool off in. Could improve on replacment towels as wet pool towel disappeared. Kitchen area could improve with paper towels and a microwave. Thanks to our driver villa manager and housekeeper.

We had a wonderful four day stay at Villa Laba Puseh. Texted several times before arrival with villa manager Ketut. He was very helpful. Also communicated with Juli who picked us up at the airport and then was our driver and tour guide the whole time. He was amazing. The Villa itself was great. Perfect for two couples. Would highly recommend it.

Loved the ease of communication and the beauty of the villa! The neighborhood is cute and walkable--much better for us than being in the main hubbub of Ubud--but easy to get into town, too. Great restaurants, coffee, juices, etc within 100m. We also loved our tour day with Aris, who took us to waterfalls and art exhibits. We had a medical emergency and needed to leave early and abruptly and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They went above and beyond to help pack up our stuff and help us get the emergency services we needed. Top-notch professionals and marvelous, compassionate humans.

Villa Laba Puseh is a lovely gem. Our stay began with pick-up in Benoa by driver+guide Juli, who we highly recommend for your transportation and touring needs. Juli is brother-in-law of Ketut, the villa manager. We did not meet Ketut in person; I used WhatsApp to maintain prompt communication links with both Ketut and Juli. We were met at Villa Laba Puseh by cheerful Komang who kept the villa and pool neat and clean during our 5-day stay. As much as we enjoyed the comfortable & peaceful villa, the pool was our favorite place to loll away our waking hours. Although we didn't cook, we did stock the refrigerator with breakfast & snack foods, as well as beverages. A large multi-gallon bottle of drinking water is provided. WiFi worked well from any spot. The only negative of the villa was the closet in one of the two bedrooms. I am 5 ft 3 in and could not reach the lofty hanging bar. Fortunately my 6 ft 2 hubby lent his assistance. So hint... if you are short, the bedroom with the armoire might be a better fit for you. LOL!!! Along with our endorsement of Villa Laba Puseh, we enthusiastically recommend the food, juices, and cold Bintang at Warung Mendez. The clean, friendly open-air restaurant is easy to find on foot or ask Juli to drop you off. Further from the villa is a supermarket better accessed by vehicle -- scooter, taxi, or Juli -- than on foot. We did not visit the Star Child Spa located only a few steps from Villa Laba Puseh, although the massages there are recommended by Cheri and others.

You're in for a treat if you book Cheri's villa. It's absolutely beautiful, peaceful and well maintained. The housekeeping is excellent. Such amazing service from Ketut and Komang and everyone else who helped out. We had a lovely stay and highly recommend it. Please note, all floors in Bali are tiled (like this villa) and can get very slippery if it rains. Please request rubber mats if you have children. Ketut and Komang were very accommodating to our request.

When we entered the villa the feel exceeded our expectations. The stay was so comfortable and I was so glad that we are within walking distance to Ubud center but not in the center. Would definitely recommend and stay again. 🙏🏽

While this is not a new property, it is a little oasis from the busyness of Ubud. Extremely nice staff and communicative owner.

Very relaxing villa, located near coffee shops and places to eat. Near enough to Ubud to enjoy the restaurants and shops but far enough to be away from the crowds. Just note that the 2 bedrooms are separate so the property will not be suitable if you have young kids, but perfect set up for couples or those with older kids.

Lovely stay, excellent value and location just a few minutes outside Ubud center which is way too busy. Villa Lava Puseh is just where you wanna be.

Villa Laba Puseh is a perfect place to stay and explore Ubud. The pictures do not do the place justice. It is even more beautiful than we expected. My friend and I spent 7 wonderful nights celebrating a milestone birthday. Everything is so great - from pick up at hotel by Juli, to being met by Komang with a coconut and the villa perfectly clean to the best gluten free banana pancakes by Made in the morning. The rooms are spacious and comfortable (and cool) plus the outdoor shower was bliss, The pool was perfect - the size, so clean, everything. The location was perfect - close to Ubud - walk 15-20 minutes or taxi for 50. The spa next door was a treat - we went 3 times! We went to local spa - shortcut was helpful. And we had an amazing day trip with Juli - who was so generous with his time. We didn’t want to leave but we had our last pancakes with Made and Komang helped us load the car. Thank you Cheri for sharing your home - Your team is just the best. We would stay again.

We had an amazing stay at this Villa in Ubud A 15 minute walk from town, the villa is exactly as pictured while being there is so much more. Made is very sweet, caring and cooked up a variety of delicious breakfasts. Juli drove us around for 3 days including 1 day at dawn to beat the crowds to a temple in the mountains. The owner, Cheri, is very attentive and prompt with responding to our questions. We highly recommend this Villa as it is close enough to walk to Ubud but far enough away to be quiet. PS: Make sure to book a massage next door.

If you are looking for a no hassle stay in Ubud, we highly recommend this property. The property is fairly centrally located and a peaceful retreat - we absolutely loved the natural setting and the flowing water with the pool. You just need to be careful with the doors kept shut to avoid mosquito bites. Also I recommend the host to put a motion sensor light at the main entrance which seems a tad dark in the night. But other than these very small points, the property and the people who maintains the property are simply AWESOME! Will come back again.

Juli was waiting for us at the airport and transferred us to the villa and drove us to sightsee on several days. Great house. We liked it very much. Thanks for tasty breakfast Made. Juli was like a good friend for us. Nothing about Ketut, we didn't see him. Not good for a manager. If we planed the trips in advance maybe we could see more. But it was OK. Thanks for everything Cheri.

Action is not the first word that comes to mind if you stay here. This is a lovely, private, and peaceful place with adventure waiting just around the corner if you want it. The manager and his staff ensure a pleasant stay and are available for anything you may desire to do. There are many sites within easy reach that will give you the flavour of the area. Many walking trails and motor bikes/scooters available if you are brave enough and experienced enough to handle the traffic. The pool is lovely, albeit a little cool if you are accustomed to warm water. Beaches are within reach by car/driver and are worth the trip. The Palace/Temple, market, Monkey Jungle, Elephant Sanctuary and historic cave Goa Gajah are all worth the experience. All restaurants are within walking distance and the Bintang supermarket are also accessible by walking. Be prepared to don a sarong if visiting the temples and other sacred sites. The owner is accessible by email and will answer any questions and give advice with immediate reply. Great stay. Would highly recommend.

A very nice 2 bedroom Villa in a private location, close to cafes and eateries and a very good yoga studio. More quiet than Ubud itself but only a short taxi ride or 20 min. walk to the centre of town. It was the ideal location for a quiet relaxing getaway. Lots to see and in and around Ubud especially traditional Balinese arts and culture and for mindfulness and wellness enthusiasts. The food was good everywhere we went and very good value. People were very friendly also. The taxi people can become a bit annoying as they are everywhere and constantly ask you if you need a ride. Our hosts collected us from the airport as planned and visited each morning to provide breakfast. My only criticisms and they are minor ones are as follows: The breakfast provided is quite basic but more importantly you are asked what you would like for breakfast the next day. However, this became a bit awkward because there was no menu to choose from so it was unclear to us what was available. I would suggest developing a simple 5-7 day breakfast menu to address this. I would also recommend having the towels refreshed every two days at most. Ours were only changed once in 7 days and with the humidity there, the towels couldn't air properly. Otherwise we had a very pleasant and relaxing stay at the villa and in Ubud. It's a perfect place to stay if you're happy to explore and do your own thing with a comfortable and private base to do it from.

Nice clean place, pool is nice and open living room with view on pool nice. Made cooked us lovely pancakes each day and helped entertaining our 1y old. Room is nice. We liked yo stay just outside the main street of ubud and used the yoga that is 10-12 'm walking distance from the property a couple of times. Thanks you all for the clean place, lovely food and our pleasant stay there.
