Nice position in Candidasa area, staff extremely kind and prepared to help. Room was the cleanest I’ve ever seen in Indonesia, including toilette and pool area. The little “village” is very cute and built between water canals. Renting the scooter in the hotel has been very helpful too

Could have more vegan options instead of only vegetarian.

Staff were delightful and a terrific location

State of repair. Safe didn't work, door lock rusty, toilet seat broken, thin curtains with bright lights outside at night, poor water pressure, window wouldn't open. Place is a bit 'tired'. Food was overpriced and sub standard with tax and service charge at 10 and 11%.

We have stayed 3,5 weeks in Bali and we have moved 6 times and Alam Candi was the best place we have stayed referring to the overall experience. This is such a nice place with so attentive and nice staff. We really enjoyed sitting in the restaurant, jumping in the pool between the meals, enjoying the view to the sea… If you want to go snorkeling at Blue Lagoon Beach you can say hello to the fishermen at the hotels beach and they bring you to the lagoon including snorkeling equipment (we have paid 500k for 2 hours but it’s up to you what price you negotiate…). Beside of this the food of the restaurant is very good, I highly recommend the fish tacos 😋. If you want to be peaky you will always find some things because it’s an object directly in seafront, so the salty air is kind of aggressiv to everything what is metal like the bathroom fitting but the staff is taking a high effort to clean the object, to collect the fallen leaves. In the evening they go from door to door to light mosquito candles on the terraces. And if something does not work in your room it takes just minutes until someone will take care of your issue.

It's a nice quiet place with a beautiful ocean view and a super friendly staff.

We chose this place because of the free Wifi, since we were remotely working for a week, but the poor connection made it really hard to get anything done. The room was smaller than we expected from the pictures and also poorly lit. White linens, towels and pillows had stains and were not very white anymore. We were also suprised by the excessive use of chlorine (on the sidewalks - poor fish! and in the pool).

The hotel is clean and cozy. Staff is very helpful and nice. The restaurant serve delicious food.

quiet & clean

We stayed at Alam candi 2019, and the stay and food was amazing. The front desk this time was very slack, staff at the desk, could hardly speak or understand English. They had no credit card machine for me to settle the bill in the morning. I had to pay cash and John was not very pleased with paying cash. They had no person at the Spa, to have a manicure. Our breakfast was very ordinary, with pancakes not properly cooked. I hope soon the resort will be back to normal. Please install music soonest. A very friendly resort, that we so enjoy apart from a few set backs. Regards Maz and John Meerburg
