The location is perfect. The manager went out of her way to be super helpful in getting the football game on the television an extra sheets for the sleeper sofa.

I stay here every year during the Orcas Island Film Festival. The location is right in town and within walking distance of everything. The bed and bedding are supreme. I sleep so well here. This is my go to spot whenever I visit Orcas Island.

This was the perfect place for exploring Eastsound - we loved being able to easily walk into town for meals and shopping. The space was also super comfortable - great amenities and comfy furnishings. Would definitely recommend!

relaxing stay

The location is a two minute walk to the main part of town and across the street from the bay. With the windows open on the bay side there was a great breeze coming into the apartment. We did find that we needed all the other window coverings closed because right next door are a couple businesses so there was not a lot of privacy. Also, the room was not ready by check in time at 4pm so we sat outside for about 30 minutes while the space was finished up. That did ensure a clean room though! Lastly, the bedroom is upstairs (which we knew) however what we didn’t know is the stairs for the adjacent unit is right above your head. Our neighbors had young children and they were up & down those stairs late & early so not much for the vacation rest we had hoped to find. Overall it was a nice stay for us.

This rental is located right when you enter Eastsound, on main street. Across the street is a park that overlooks a lovely, quaint ocean scene. Walking distance to grocery store, coffee, and local events. Jetted tub was wonderful! Nicely stocked kitchen. Would stay again!

We had a wonderful stay on Orcas in this cozy spot located walking distance from the main strip of Eastsound. There were four of us making it a little tight quartered but the proximity and amenities were perfect.

We desperately needed an escape from work and every day life, so we decided to squeeze in an impromtu visit to Orca Island right before the Memorial Day Weekend. The Lieutenant's Suite is absolutely stunning! The spiral staircase alone would have earned it 5 stars, but the entire property was amazing. The suite was quite spacious - the decor, the modern amenites, that spiral staircase leading up to a romantic loft - all amazing. Trust me the pictures accurately depict how wonderful it truly is. The property is so conviniently located a few blocks from restaurants, shops, and the local market. There are park benches facing the Eastsound waterfront across the street where one could have a picnic - and we did! Had we more time, we could have whipped up a gourmet meal in that spacious and well equipped kitchen. The parking was so convinient. I can't say enough wonderful things about it. I would definitely go back and would recommend it to anyone.

The apartment is very well stocked with a full kitchen and toiletries. We loved that we could walk to town for meals and shopping. Parking was very easy!

The place was awesome and Connie was a great host. Overall the suite was flawlessly clean, very spacious for 2 and had was very well equipped. We loved the fact that it was so well connected to the town that we would just stroll around at any time, no car needed!

This space had everything we needed and wanted for a 3 night getaway; 15 minutes drive to/from the ferry, an excellent kitchen to cook meals, cozy furnishings, the gas fireplace for warmth… we were very pleased. The communication to/from the Host was clear and concise. If it presents itself we will rent from here again!

The condo was beautiful. The location was fantastic and the giant windows give you an incredible views. This was a work trip for me but I would definitely go back for a romantic getaway with my wife

We really enjoyed staying at this property during our time in Orcas. Its location cannot be beat! It is near some great shops and places to grab a bite. The property manager was extremely responsive and took care of concerns we had in a timely matter.

I come here every year for the Orcas Island Film Festival and always stay at this VRBO. Location is perfect - right in town and everything within walking distance. We had a great time in a really nice property, staying in the Lieutenant Suite, Part of the Indian Island Suites complex on Orcas Island In Eastsound. The property was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Nice touches throughout the suite . We had an easy time finding the place, great welcome letter from Beth Smth the property manager. Easy check in. Loved the location as well.

What a beautiful place! Very chic and clean! It was perfect for our small group of friends and close to everything! We would definitely stay again!

The place was absolutely beautiful. The property is surrounded by lavender and it caries right in on the ocean breeze. Beautiful view of the bay a short walk from all the restaurants and shopping. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The kitchen was gorgeous and had everything we needed (although who wants to eat at home with all the great restaurants nearby!)

We found Lieutenant's suite to be just right in terms of location. We were there mid-week so being near the town center with eating places and the grocery store was great. At the same time the property is sufficiently away from the busy parts of town so that the stay is quiet and relaxing..the view from the french windows looking out at Indian Island is perfect...serene and beautiful.

Walkable to all the shopping /dinning in Eastsound, just across the bay. Had some trouble getting access to keys at first, but worked out with a quick call. Cleanliness can be improved.

A beautiful location and perfect access to town. The place was everything we could have hoped for. The only thing to be aware of is the French locks because we did not know how to open it but afterward we saw the Attachment had called that out (in bold) and realized it was our mistake.

My wife and I took a long weekend away to visit Orcas and I'm so glad we were stayed here. The reservation process was smooth and easy. The location is perfect for visiting Eastsound. It's just enough outside of town to be free of the crowds (and construction) while being close enough to walk everywhere. The unit is beautifully and thoughtfully appointed - I could easily see myself booking a longer stay and working remotely a few days. Thanks for having us! We'll definitely be back!

Very nice and comfortable place with a view a block away from downtown Eastsound. It is across the street from a public beach park with picnic benches. It was very comfortable for two and would have been fine for 4 people too. It was clean and well equipped. Everything looks quite new. The only problem is some morning noise. Planes landing at the Orcas Island airport fly right overhead and the main street gets busy around 7:30 (after the first ferry arrives at Orcas). If you are a light sleeper and want to sleep in, this could be a problem.

Great place to stay when visiting Orcas island. The place was clean and well appointed.

My 2 active boys and I loved this property! The location is excellent & we walked to all the shops, restaurants, Farmer’s Market, etc in Eastsound. There is a beautiful beach right across the street to build forts, find cool rocks, and run around. Within short driving distance are more beaches to explore, Mt Constitution, and Buck Bay Shellfish Farm. We also ate some of our meals in, and it was easy to cook in the fully stocked kitchen (gas cook top, yay)! Highly recommend this location!

We arrived early and met Connie who was there preparing the unit. She is delightful! She gave us recommendations for sites and restaurants that did not disappoint! The unit is just wonderful, perfect in every way!! We’ll be back for sure!
