Very nice place in Mauna Lani Terraces. The owner was super responsive and helpful. The place was well stocked with all that we could need (from coffee makers to beach equipment and towels). It was super comfortable and homey. We appreciated the break in price as well. We'd absolutely stay there again.

This place has everything you need! Gorgeous sunsets. Peaceful quiet area. Close to good restaurants and beautiful beaches. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Had to change my dates a few weeks ahead of my stay due to a medical issue. The owner was absolutely fantastic about accommodating my situation.

My family of four loved staying in this condo. King bed and sofa bed were comfy. We ate in the Lanai everyday. The view is amazing and so quiet. Communication with Mike is great, wonderful host!

The condo is beautifully remodeled and has everything we need for the stay, including fresh tasting filtered water! The view from the condo is wonderful. A group of birds hanging around the tree right in front of the balcony provides constant entertainment. There is breeze all the time and it feels very comfortable without turning on AC. Highly recommended!

Beautiful view of Mauna Lani, overlooking fish filled pond, and out to the ocean. Condo includes all amenities including beach chairs and beach towels. Walking distance to private beaches and next door to Auberge resort. Market, shops, restaurants very close. Great unit!

We loved every minute of our way too short stay in Mike’s beautiful condo. The view is magical and the condo has everything you could possibly need - including quality snorkel gear. The resort is lovely and there is so much to see and do - we could easily have spent a few more days here. Mike was super helpful and responsive - an absolutely fabulous host - mahalo Mike! A lovely condominium with view over the lagoon toward the ocean. It has generous sized living, dining room and master bedroom and bath plus a second bath and fully modern kitchen with ample kitchenware. It has three lanai facing the lagoon. It is very tastefully furnished with plenty of gear to make the stay more enjoyable and has two TVs and Wifi (though we are not TV watchers). The owner was prompt in responding to any questions or concerns we had. There is air conditioning throughout but during our visit we found the breezes and ceiling fans kept us very comfortable. We had stayed a number of times at the nearby Mauna Lani hotel and love the snorkeling at the beach club (5-10 min walk) and the paths along the beach and around the fish ponds are delightful for walking. The snorkeling is generally excellent except on a few days when waves stir up the sediment. The hotel was purchased by new owners, which renovated it in a way that made the ambiance less desirable for us and then they doubled the prices. Thus it was so great that we could find this terrific place to stay in the same area. Highly recommended

It was an absolute pleasure staying at this condo. The owners go above and beyond to make sure their guests feel at home and informed about all the amenities inside the condo and the surrounding area. The location has convenient access to beaches, groceries, restaurants (many within walking distance) and short drives for day excursions to other towns. We made great use of their beach chairs, beach umbrella, coolers, ice packs, snorkle fins, bicycles, and the many beach towels they made available to us. Our favorite part was the huge lanai with the gorgeous view of the pond, palm trees, and the ocean. It is spacious, quiet and private. My favorite time to sit on the lanai was early morning with a cup of coffee, enjoying the view and the cool breeze, listening to the sounds of the ocean waves and the birds singing. An overall 5-star experience. Mahalo to the owners Mike and Lorie for making our trip to the Big Island so enjoyable.

This is my fourth stay at this condo. Everything was as expected and perfect as it could be. Friends are asking me why I am staying in the same place again and again... my answer is simple : just because this is my dream vacation place. I am coming here as to my vacation home. My husband and I have been coming to the Big Island every other year since 1993 and this is one of the best condos in Mauna Lani that we have stayed in! It has everything….amazing views, beautiful clean accommodations, short walking distance to shore, beach club, stores, restaurants , lovely pool and outdoor kitchen/BBQ area, responsive and gracious hosts! We loved it and will definitely plan to come back!! Mahalo!!

Absolutely loved staying here! The location is beyond fantastic and the home is fully equipped with your vacation needs. My wife and I have plans to definitely stay here again. We took advantage of all the beach equipment and using BBQs down at the pool. The owners are very good at communication. Amazing place!

The location is incredible! You can walk to just about anything you need but it’s really hard to leave. The view from the condo is spectacular with all the vibrant colors of the fish pond, Pacific Ocean, palm trees, and foliage. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the massive lanais. Whether it was enjoying breakfast at the outdoor table, sitting in the rocking chairs just after sunset when the sky is still pink, or lounging off the master bedroom lanai with a glass of wine and watching the stars. Michael was an incredible host. He was able to get us in early so my husband could watch the playoff game and made sure we had everything we could need. The condo is fully stocked with all the essentials plus some extra touches that we really enjoyed. The kitchen had everything we could need to cook and the BBQ area was a great way to grill up some local catch. Michael suggested we try a local fish shop that sold fish fresh off the boat that day. It was a delicious treat! He made numerous other great suggestions that we tried and seemed to really care that we had a great experience. The condo was clean and nice. The furniture and decor is a good mix of Hawaiian design with soft neutrals and pops of color that are tasteful. The pool and BBQ area were a must visit and the beach club is a short walk for some great snorkeling and beautiful white sand beach. Our only regret is that we didn’t book extra time here. We were so blown away that we looked to come back later this year but they’re booked solid. It’s no wonder because we plan to return for years to come. I imagine they get a lot of return customers. I hate to highly recommend it because we want it available next time we come but I have nothing but great things to say. Glowing review!

The condo is located in a great location just steps from the beach. The place was spotless when we arrived and had everything that we expected and more. The host was responsive and followed up several times to ensure we were enjoying our stay.

We have rented this condo from Mike second time in 3 years. Mike is wonderful to rent from. Condo is very spacious and comfortable, and tastefully decorated with art that reminds you of what a special place it is you’re visiting. The kitchen was very well equipped with all the pots/pans and appliances one could want or need on vacation. We cooked a number of meals in the condo and didn't feel anything was missing. Lots of extras available for guests to use, everything what you can think off: chairs, towels, umbrella, cooler and snorkeling equipment...The entire condo is well maintained and updated. The view is outstanding. You look out over the pond and out to the gorgeous ocean. Already planning to another trip next year. Mahalo!

We enjoyed our very comfortable stay at this condo. Minutes from the beach, a short drive to a great grocery store, it's easy to hideaway at this resort area and never want to leave!

We stayed in E202 for 3 nights, visiting from Hilo side. Had a fantastic stay and hope to get back sooner rather than later. The condo is very well equipped and has everything you could need. The pool and hot tub we usually had to ourselves and the beach club and snorkeling were fantastic.

Another great condo at Mauna Lani Terrace. Beautiful one bedroom overlooking ponds and the ocean. A very attentive owner. This is our 5th condo stay at the Mauna Lani and we will be back.

Condo was beautiful in a beautiful location. The Beach Club was an awesome place to hang out. Shopping and Restaurants nearby. It was relaxing and quiet. Thanks Mike for renting it to us!

Very responsive owner. Great location. I would say this is better than staying at the Fairmont. This place is a true value and I treated it as my place for my super short time- cleaned and serviced the bikes to good working order, the Specialized bikes were great after tuneup, likely were not used for half a year except maybe one (saw total 3). Sunset and location cannot be beat. The good: location is awesome, lanai, view, basic amenities - there is say salt and pepper and other stuff likely left by prior guests and we added to it of course. Did not use the pool area but toured it. What could be improved? Water dripping from AC, bed a little softer than most people used to, some parts appear heavily used by guests

While we did not have issues with the condo, Michael was extremely attentive to what we needed. Leading up to the stay, he helped us with suggestions, recommendations, and what to bring. The condo was just perfect. From the inside, to the location, to the views. I couldn't have asked for a better place or experience!

Using the VRBO for the first time on the Big Island of Hawaii. Stayed in the Terrace UNIT 202. JUST fabulous! The pictures were spot on. The Unit was well stocked with bed, bathroom and beach linen. Kitchen and laundry supplies. The unit was clean and turn key ready. They had their own pool which we did not use, but the owners passkey to the beach was priceless. Overall a great experience, was able to reach the owners by text right away would highly recommend and stay at this location again.
