It is hard to summarize this property. I didn't want to leave and go down into the city, I was quite content sitting on one of the large balconies soaking it all in. The views are just beautiful. We had visits from Momma and Poppa and there 4 little cubs daily. Make sure you rid your car of any food or wrappers before you arrive. There is plenty to do around town, we checked out the Aquarium, shops and restaurants, parks. Spent many nights playing pool and Ms. Pac Man. Watching the sunset every night as it disappears over the mountains. Enjoying the hot tub on the cool nights. You will not be disappointed if you rent this property. Be careful of the driveway.

Our family had the BEST stay!! It was very comfortable, the view was amazing and we got to see the mama bear and 4 cubs several times (be sure to lock your car doors every night, we didn't have any food in ours and the bear still got the door open and looked around inside)

We visited from Cincinnati for Jeep Invasion w/friends & family. We had the best stay! The Chalet is absolutely gorgeous! I highly recommend! The owner sent me a very informative email going into details about his home. Then personally called me to make sure I got it. I was impressed. We saw bears, bears & more bears! The babies climbed in the Jeeps :)…again, highly recommend & will be back. Thank you Jay & Family for opening your home to us.

Our group of 15 came up in our Jeeps for the Jeep Invasion. We all had a wonderful time. The views from the house were amazing. We had a visit from a bear every day. We also saw the mama bear and her four cubs. The house was great with plenty of space. We would definitely stay in the Sensational View house again.

Wonderful house, perfect size for 12 of us, everyone had a bed, spacious and gorgeous views!! Saw bears everyday, all interactions with the host were very nice and they are quick to respond. Highly recommend this house for a stay!!

This property was perfect for our multigenerational family. Two easy steps with a railing into the house. The main floor had two bedrooms one of which was perfect for the grandparents who are in their late 70s with walk in shower and bars. We also loved that the hot tub was on the main level. We have teenagers and the hot tub was often the hub of socialization in the evenings and meant that the grandparents didn’t have to walk up and down the stairs to be where everyone was hanging out. What a hot tub too!!! It was huge and so many jets we used it every night. We made several meals as a family and had every pot, pan, and utensil needed it was very well stocked! We have been staying in cabins for the last 10 years but this is the best view we have ever had. I honestly don’t think you can beat it! We had bears visit every day and there was a momma bear with 4 cubs that our family really enjoyed seeing. The drive way is like typical drive ways in the area and was no problem for our cars or truck. The house is the very last one on the road and there was hardly any traffic on the road during our stay. All the beds were exceptionally comfortable and everyone slept great. The penthouse is beautiful and the view is amazing I could have laid in bed and looked out the window all day if my kids would have let us. The cabin is about 5 mins from the strip but feels miles away. We will definitely stay here in the future and recommend to friends!

The views from this gorgeous house are amazing. The house is beautiful and very well maintained. It is 5 star and the owners were very helpful!! We saw at least 5 bears when we stayed!!

The house met our needs and then some! It was perfectly appointed and well supplied, which made our stay very comfortable. We cooked breakfast & dinner at the house each day and packed snacks for mid day while exploring GSMNP. The town and restaurants were packed, so we hung out at home after our adventures during the day. We played games, did the puzzle, had epic foosball and pool tournaments, set high scores in Ms. Pac Man, and lounged in the hot tub. WHAT A VIEW! We saw a neighborhood bear almost every day! Jay & Amy have a beautiful home and were excellent hosts for our Spring Break week.

Just an outstanding property, the pictures do not lie. It has everything you need to enjoy yourself and relax. The view is beyond words and the place is immaculate. If Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and the Great Smokey Mountains NP are on your bucket list - save up and do it right - this is the place you deserve!

It was an amazing stay, we all wished we had rented it for a longer stay! We saw about 5 bears, a bobcat and a skunk lol. Hope to rent again 2023

Sensational View is everything and more. The house is designed perfectly and the furnishings (many handmade) are equally appealing. Special note - the first floor is truly accessible; an absolute must for our Family. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well appointed, and every bedroom, bathroom, each porch, and the great and game rooms are beautifully designed and furnished. The Penthouse is to die for - I didn't think that sunrises and sunsets could be so amazing. Jay and Amy are excellent hosts; thoughtful, welcoming, and professional. Their staff is great and took special care in making sure that we were comfortable upon arrival. I highly recommend Sensational View and plan to visit again in the near future. Thanks Jay, Amy, and Staff for such a beautiful property and for being great hosts.

Everything about this property was nice! The host is very nice and well communicate with you! We only encountered the bear soon as we arrived but no more the entire trip! We had a nice cousins trip and will visit again!

Beautiful views and just as pictured and described. Love the roomy living area and huge dining room table! Made it so nice to be able to seat our whole group for our family gathering. Road up and driveway to the house are steep but plenty of room to park multiple cars at the top (we had 5 to 6 at times) and were able to turn around too. Loved the decks and hot tub and owners checked in to make sure everything was ok! Hope to stay there again soon:)

The house was very accommodating for our extended family from infants to elderly grandma with enough room for everyone. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals. The driveway had sufficient space for our 4 SUV's and full size pickup truck. The whole family loved watching the bears from the decks, which we saw everyday. The view is unbelievable, especially from the penthouse. Absolutely amazing! Jay and Amy were so nice, attentive, and so easy to work with.

Really, just book it! The view is incredible… really doesn’t capture it in the photos. You’re surrounded by hills and it’s so private. The view down to Gatlinburg is uncommon and really charming, plus ensures you see the “smoky”ness of the mountains in the mornings. Looking around you can tell this place has the best view of any rental in the area for sure. Oh, and we saw lots of bears! Right off the balcony! One curious fella even put his paws up (but it’s too high). Honestly, staying at this house was the best part of our trip. Sooo nice to just sit in that crow’s nest room up top or hot tub and watch the sunset and scout for bears with a glass of wine and someone to chat with.

Where do I start? I can't say enough great things about this place. The hosts to start with are excellent! very personable, responsive, and accommodating. Great communication! The Cabin itself is beautiful. The interior is spacious, plenty of room for everybody and plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. The furniture is very comfortable, the beds were very comfortable as well. The hot tub was clean and very nice, I cooked steaks on the grill that turned out great and helped save some money! This place has just about everything you need! The complimentary wine was delicious and didn't survive the first night. I'm coming back for some more of that next year! Our family had a great stay here, two bears did visit briefly, shortly after we arrived the first night. The view is the best we've had yet. It's very close to town actually, and easy to bypass the main strip, easy to come and go from the cabin. We highly recommend this cabin. This is the best cabin out of the 7 different cabins I've stayed at so far! Oh, and the VIEW! Thank you, Jay and Amy, so much for your hospitality!

Me and my family read some of the reviews before we went talking about it being kind of a steep hill. It wasn’t as bad as i expected but it is a beautiful home. We had a blast and the last day saw a cub. We couldn’t ask for a better view from the cabin. I would recommend this home to anyone. The owners are so nice and pleasant as well.

This property is by far the nicest VRBO we have ever stayed in. The kitchen is generously equipped with dishes, utensils, and high end appliances and truly beautiful. Jay and Amy have thought of everything for guests' comfort and convenience. Comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms, awesome game room. Washer and dryer on the first floor. The views are breathtaking both morning and night and if your lucky you'll get to see a few bears walking around. Our family loved it. Our grandkids even nick named the smaller bear "flower". We'll definitely be back to stay with Amy and Jay sometime in the near future. Wonderful home. You don't want to pass this one up. Thank you for having us.

Very nice view of Gatlinburg downtown. Black Bears visited us every day. Due to sloppy driveway, take extra care during in/out.

The property was everything we were promised and then some! The rooms were spacious and beautiful, and the views were beyond words. We did have to get used to sharing the outdoors with the frequent bear visits, but what an experience. We travel frequently and do VRBO rentals, this one was among the best! I would highly recommend this property.

This house made our trip! It is a perfect setup for a group. Lots of very comfortable beds & bathrooms. Game room for kids was perfect. The kitchen & living room had an open setup and the balconies were wonderful for sitting outside to admire the views. Hot tub was nice after a day of hiking. The owner goes above and beyond with a very informative welcome packet and outstanding communication. Best trip for us! Highly recommend this house to anyone in the area. A plus is get to see a nice bear during the stay.

This place was amazing! The view was spectacular and it was perfect for our family! My husband and I stayed in the penthouse up top and slept with the window blinds up so we could see the view of downtown Gatlinburg if we woke up in the night. It was incredible and we saw bears every day! Our stay was perfect!

Our family had a great stay at the Sensational View Jay and Amy were so accommodating and could be reached at any time. The house was spotless and had all the amenities we needed. The VIEW was breathtaking, waking up to the mountains was so beautiful. I would most defiantly book this house again next year. Check-in and check-out process was so easy we didn't have to bother Jay & Amy for anything really besides the garbage pick up only 1 day a week, which I think the City of Gatlinburg should change that since there are so many people booking cabins in the mountains. We saw so many bears, it was amazing! The kids and younger adults enjoyed the hot tub even though it was raining! We had enough towels for everyone. The cabin was easy to get no confusing roads we had to go on. Since we had so many bears sitting it was fishy to do any BBQing. we always had a flashlight on hand and loud music playing to kind of keep them away. Thank you so much Jay & Amy for the hospitality and for letting us stay at your beautiful cabin! We for sure will keep in touch for next year!

Everyone had a great time! House was amazing, views incredible, convenient to everything we wanted to do, clean, accommodated our family of 10 easily and really very nice! Owners were awesome to communicate with and super friendly! Definitely would stay again!

We have great and amazing experience over there. House is amazing and view is breathtaking. It’s a complete vacation house. I loved top floor penthouse. We have kids to parents age people. Everyone has own privacy. Our parents were so happy. Kitchen is great and well organized. Appliances great and well functional. We had little problem with water day 1 . No water but Host Jay took care of it quickly. Jay is very kind and he responds our text and call so quickly and politely. I never had a host like Jay who took care of us Like this . We called him multiple times for any questions but he didn’t seems irritated. He treated us like family. This is a first time we rent it with him. I would definitely recommend him. Jay is Very nice person.

The house is amazing, great location and views are fantastic. But the best part by far is dealing with the owners. Very gracious and hospitable.

WE HAD AN AMAZING TIME CELEBRATING OUR PARENTS 50TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY. THE HOUSE WAS BEAUTIFUL AND THE UNBELIEVABLE. WE REALLY FELT AT HOME. THE OWNERS WERE VERY HELPFUL AND KIND.

This property has everything and more if you’re looking to vacation in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. The property was very clean everything was in good working condition and it had a fully stocked kitchen that any cook could admire. We cooked meals 2 to 3 times a day and had no issues finding the proper cookware or utensils. We are a family of four and find that having a great view and a working fully stocked kitchen works well for our vacations. The owners were very welcoming and easy to work with, as well as responsive to any text messages. I highly recommend this property as it is well worth the view and the accommodations.

They property was absolutely beautiful! The views were exceptional! And very easy to find! The only down fall was the bench to the table. It was in a bad spot and it got kick a few times. We absolutely enjoyed our stay!!
