Our family has been to this location three times now. It's always a good time. Great facilities and view. The owners are always too kind and very helpful.

We loved the house. It was a great size for the 8 of us. Sitting on the deck was one of our favorite things. It was in a good location. The property managers were excellent. We would definitely stay again.

This is the first time I have used VRBO and Bryan and Joan were wonderful hosts. Their house was beautiful and had everything we needed. The house was also centrally located to everything we planned on our stay. Fabulous few days!

Bryan and Joan Gibson give a new meaning to excellence in hospitality. Everything from a meticulously appropriated kitchen, sparkling cleanliness, lovely decor and comfort put them in a league of their own. And my how we enjoyed the entertainment amenities and, the grande finale, Bryan’s Observatory tour. It was out of this world! We had a blast! This is a very nice property but it was very awkward to have the home owners upstairs with an adjoining door in the game room. The observatory in the posting is very misleading because you actually don’t have access to a telescope as its all digitally accessed by the property owners. They were very nice but being told quiet tome is 10:00 pm is like a curfew given by from your patients not VRBO owners. Very odds . When you are on vacation it’s really not appropriate.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We woke up to deer right outside our door every morning with fabulous morning and night views. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the hosts were very nice and welcoming. We will definitely stay here next time we are in town.

We spent Labor Day weekend at this lovely location. Perfect amenities, well equipped kitchen, great game room, beautiful view. Owners live on-site and are easily accessible, wonderful hosts. Already planning a return visit.

You couldn’t find a better home in Colorado Springs to stay at. The view was 10+. Our hosts were the best! They welcomed us upon our arrival and were gracious in every way to accommodate our family with children. Will certainly visit this home again. Thank you from Pa😀

Not only did we stay at an amazing property, with a spectacular view included, Joan and Bryan were a complete delight! Their welcoming and tour through the observatory just added to the sheer perfection of our short stay to send my college Freshman off to tackle the world. Getting to learn about their daughter, Heidi’s artwork and jewelry designs (look her up!) made it that much more wonderful. Such a delight! Thanks, guys! We will be back!

We absolutely loved our stay! Very close to everything we wanted to do in Colorado Springs. Can't say enough about our great hosts who were amazingly kind, the house had everything and more than we expected. The observatory was a big highlight, as was the views and deer every morning.

Wonderful time with family and excellent location of property for events that we planned. Property was large and well furnished and very clean. Kitchen had new appliances and all necessary utensils.

Great place to stay!

My family stayed a week in this wonderful home. It is an amazing property up in the foothills of Colorado Springs. The hosts were very gracious and helpful. We even got a tour of the observatory one night. We walked to the Flying W Ranch which is just around the corner one evening. I'm from the flatlands of central Illinois and running up and down the foothills was a totally different experience, especially at 7,100 feet. There is tons to do and see and the views from the house are incredible. This one of our favorite vacations of all time.

Great location, great scenery, Joan and Bryan are super hosts. Some of our family stayed here for our sons wedding at The Garden of the Gods. The location of their home could not have been better. Close enough for anything we needed and Joan and Bryan were very helpful with any questions we had. The weather cooperated and as mentioned in other reviews the deer in the area are very friendly. If we are ever out there again we will not hesitate to stay there again.Thank you Joan and Bryan for a fun stay. Jim, Cindy, Adam and Elijah.

We enjoyed out time in the basement of this lovely home. Despite a few hiccups along the way, it was enjoyable and the hosts were there to take care of our every need.

We can’t recommend this property enough. The owners, Joan and Bryan, are warm and gracious, and the home is beautiful. We enjoyed the deer grazing on the property, and the pool table was a big hit with everyone. We look forward to staying here again.

My husband, my 4 year old son, my 5 year old niece, my in-laws, and I stayed for a long weekend to celebrate my husband's birthday. Everything was as described, if not better. The property manager was there to meet us and show us around; she had even put up a happy birthday banner for us. She was very kind and said she was happy to hear the kids (who weren't the quietist) enjoying the space. The game room was awesome with an air hockey table, ping pong/pool table, and a collection of board games that kept us entertained. The view from the home was breathtaking! While the property managers were on site, we never felt like we were lacking privacy. On the first morning of our stay, I went to grab some items from our car and was greeted by 5 deer staring at me in the driveway. They were completely unphased by me. I would, without a doubt, stay here again. It was the perfect place to celebrate with extended family.

Everything was absolutely perfect. I have stayed in over a dozen home rentals and this has to be the best one I have ever stayed in. The house was absolutely beautiful. The owner was so hospitable, she even let us use her sleds. Once the snow melted we were able to do s’more’s outside at the firepit which my children loved. We even enjoyed watching deer right in the yard. I definitely recommend this house to anyone and I hope we will be able to visit again.

Our family had an amazing vacation, and this property was at the center of it all. The home was beautiful and had amazing views, but even better were the gracious and welcoming hosts. It was in close proximity to all of the things to do in Colorado Springs. We highly recommend this property and will stay there again.

The property was perfect for our family reunion. We truly enjoyed our stay there. The owners are amazing and the view was gorgeous. We would definitely return there for another visit in future.

We needed to get away. It was a fairly short trip to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and Pikes Peak from here. We took full advantage of the ping pong , pool table, and air hockey. Lots of space to spread out and relax.

Joan & Brian were truly great “hosts” always communicating in a timely fashion and flexing to our changing incoming and outgoing flights. This home was perfect for our diverse needs and the fact that we like to spread out and have our own spaces. The additional apartment was perfect for our 21 year old niece, the downstairs space was perfect for everyone to have their own bedroom yet come together to play. We spent hours outside playing corn hole and ladder golf, S’mores around the fire and loved seeing the animals each day. We would definitely return!! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

The owners are very pleasant and easy going. They have an observatory on premises. Got a full tour of all the planets and stars.

Everything as advertised! Wonderful home, and the owners were great to work with! We all enjoyed the spacious lower level. The children both young and old enjoyed the recreation provided with the pool table and ping pong table, as well as a tour of the observatory. Each morning from the patio, we had fantastic views of Hot Air Balloons launching in the distance. The evenings and nights on the patio were peaceful and relaxing, as we watched the lights come up across the city. We had everything we needed to prepare meals and were able to invite other family members to grill one evening. Our expectations were exceeded! Thank you, Joan and Bryan, for a wonderful experience!

I booked a weekend stay at the beginning of August 2019. I had family coming in from out of town and wanted to take them somewhere fun and breath taking. We got them both at this house. Joan and Brian were excellent hosts and were very helpful with anything we needed. The house was stunning and very roomy for a large group. They have plenty of games and things to do so you will always be entertained.

The space was absolutely amazing for our group, offering space to eat together, play pool together, and hang out as a team together. Joan and Bryan were great and responded quickly if we had a question. I would highly recommend this location. Friendly owners, outstanding location (not far from Garden of the Gods), and fantastic views of the sunrise! Our group made meals together and took advantage of the large dining room table for meals. Would go back in the future in a heartbeat.

Everything-inside and out- matched pictures and description on VRBO. Homeowners were most pleasant. Home was immaculately spotless and fresh .Beautiful view from patio. Watch the sunrise over the city with a cup of coffee, or watch it set over the Rockies at the end of your day. Very convenient location. Garden of the Gods and Old Colorado City are just minutes away. If you ask owner, he will take you into his observatory and give you an astronomy lesson. Having a home away from home like this couldn't have been better.

What a great place with welcoming owners! It was such a great stay in Colorado Springs. We had everything we needed and had a relaxing time.
