Really enjoyed our stay, would definitely return!

This place is superbly located right on the lake in Finley point. House is open and spacious and worked great for our family of 6. The views and proximity to the lake is incredible….footsteps away from the lake! Great deck overlooking the lake, plenty of bathrooms and the views are just amazing. Sun rises directly in front of the house so mornings with coffee on the deck are beautiful. Overall an excellent location and the owner and property manager are very attentive and helpful.

Home was right on the water! Wine on the deck was the quintessential perfect evening after some intense days hiking in Glacier! Unfortunately, a fire in the area prompted a mandatory evacuation so we were unable to fully enjoy the home! Definitely hope to be back!

We loved our time at Flathead lake. The weather was a bit cold in May, but it was also wonderfully quiet on Finley Point, with no neighbors around except on the weekend. It's a great house for relaxing, eating on the deck, enjoying wildlife (especially water fowl), and hanging out on the rocky beach. We hope to stay here again in the future.

Good layout. Clean, nicely appointed. Very peaceful and quiet. House faces east so beautiful sunrises off the deck. (The smoke from the fires on the west coast handicapped that a bit but that would have been anywhere in the region.) Wildlife, mostly deer but one small black bear, were everywhere. One almost joined us on the deck for happy hour! As the house is well up toward the north end of the peninsula, there is no commercial development to obscure the night sky which, on nights when the smoke cleared, was spectacular. The trade-off of that is the nearest grocery store is a good 25+ minute drive in Polson and there are only two relatively close restaurants. For us a fair exchange. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I had a very relaxing time here, the location is amazing, just like the photos. It was the calm and relaxing vacation we were looking for. We went for walks each day around the beautiful neighborhood and bought some apples to feed the very friendly deer. Down the stairs is a private beach that is shared with the neighbor, which is also a vacation rental, so we sometimes had a lot of company while in the lake, but the nice part is that we could easily just go right back up on the deck to lounge privately. The only recommendation I had for the owner is that it would have been nice to have two fire pits, once for each household. As it stands now, there was only one, so there was a bit of competition to get there first. And with COVID, we are doing our part to not spend time in close quarters in large groups or with people we don’t know, so there were several nights that we couldn’t use it. Other than this minor detail, this is a lovely home with an incredible setting, and we would love to go back.

This place is absolutely fantastic. The views are amazing. The beach is great. The house was as advertised, super clean and very well stocked with everything you need for a successful trip. The host was very helpful and easy to work with. We loved starting our days with breakfast on the beautiful deck. We loved counting the deer along the road along Finley Point. We loved making smores at the fire pit. Pat - thanks for a great vacation!

What a great property. We escaped Washington DC and headed west. We loved every minute. The house has everything you’d need, the location is idyllic, and the beach access perfect for kids. Pat and her property manager were wonderful to deal with, and check in and out was smooth.

Had the most amazing time here! This home is so well kept and located on a beautiful location on Flathead Lake. Highly recommend this property.

The cabin was fantastic for two families with kids. There was plenty of room, the cabin was well appointed in terms of dishes, towels, etc., and the view and deck were unbeatable. The access to the lake was not ideal, though. This cabin and the neighboring cabin share a beach, and during the week of our stay the neighboring cabin had 30+ people staying over. The beach was totally overrun by the neighbors, and we felt awkward going down to use the beach. The whole point of our stay on Flathead was to have easy access to a private beach, and in that respect, this cabin was not ideal.

We stayed here for a week in July and had a wondeful time. Finley point is a great location on the lake and from which to do things in the area. Only complaint was the lack of a dock. There is acces to the lake which was good for swimming. You can pull small kayaks or floats up on the beach, but when we were there the house next door had a large party that took over the area.

A beautiful house for a quiet get away. Our family really enjoyed the huge windows and beautiful deck with a perfect view of the moon rising every evening. A great property for adults! Thanks.

Skidoo Bay is a beautiful environment and Pat's home is on a perfect location on the lake with the big deck to sit and enjoy the serenity. We spent a week prior to our son's wedding near Flathead Lake. Pat's home is comfortable and well equipped. Pat was also great at communicating and providing directions and instructions for the home as well as the local activities, which we took full advantage of. I would highly recommend Pat's home on Skidoo Bay. We will rent again.

What a phenomenal property, and Pat is a wonderful host! The view from the deck is just terrific, with easy access to the lake, and the lake house itself is in great shape. We arrived to find everything spotless, and before I could get the suitcases in the house, the kids had found, and jumped into, Flathead Lake! This is an ideal property and I often find myself thinking about coffee in the mornings on the deck overlooking the lake. We definitely will be back!

This was our 3rd trip to Pat's - we simply love it here! Pat is a wonderful host and her home is fantastic! We love everything about this place! The views do not get old and they change by the hour. Our kids love to count deer on the drive to the home and sometimes we lose track. We really do think this is an idea spot in the area - it's private and so well positioned with the east facing views. We enjoyed playing in the lake - a great way to stay refreshed in the summer heat. Whether a quiet get-a-way or base camp for exploring the Flathead Lake/Glacier region, we're completely happy here!

What a beautiful place!! Both, the spectacular house and majestic setting on Flathead Lake. There is beach access for swimming. The water is beautiful. The view of the lake and mountains was fabulous to sip coffee on the deck each morning. The house is comfortable and well stocked with plenty of sheets, pillows and towels. The kitchen was fun to prep meals. We found everything that we needed and even more. We had a delightful week!

Hi Pat and Steve: Just wanted you to know how much we enjoyed staying at your beautiful home on Flathead Lake. The pictures cannot do it justice - we loved the peaceful lakeside setting and magnificent scenery all around, gorgeous sunsets and moonlit nights. We found the facility spotless and so fully furnished that every need was met, including lots of maps and recreation materials in a corner. We spent a lot of time on the deck, talking and reading, and did a bit of local sight seeing. On one day we drove up to Glacier NP up to Logan Pass and a nice luncheon at a lodge..My brother and sister in law had never been there so it, too, was special. And you provided all the driving directions, operational information, and recreational opportunities one could ever need. We managed to consume huckleberry shakes and a pie.... We feel refreshed and are delighted by our holiday at the lake!!!

We just spent a week in this little slice of heaven. It was a wonderful, relaxing get-away. The house is immaculate and has everything you could possibly need. The deck is gorgeous - as are the views. The beach area was perfect and we swam every day in the lake. We ate every meal on the beautiful new deck overlooking the lake. It is peaceful and serene and comfortable. We enjoyed a day trip to Glacier National Park, fly fishing with a guide from Big Fork, whitewater rafting out of Polson, and jet skiing. Everything was easily accessible and worthwhile. Our two teenage daughters enjoyed it all and I got to read, read, read. A perfect vacation. We highly recommend this property and hope to return.

We recently spent a week at this beautiful Skidoo Bay cabin/house. First, the home is immaculate and all details were thought of for our stay. We received great communication and directions from the hosts before we arrived. Finley Point is a beautiful, forested peninsula into Flathead Lake. This home is extremely private and it feels like its just you, the lake, and the deer. Each morning and evening we spent time on the deck watching the scenery change around us. Brilliant sunrises and long lasting sunsets /twilight. We enjoyed sunset campfires and s'mores on the private beach. When not at the house, we explored the area and there is more than enough to see in a week! We saw bear, bison, pronghorn deer, elk and more at the National Bison Range to the south. Great shopping and dining in Big Fork (cherries along the east side of the lake in mid/late July). We rented a power boat one day and spent the day on the water and loved exploring Wild Horse Island. 4th of July Parade in Kalispell. Whitefish has a fun railroad museum, arts fair and great shopping/eating (resort town). From Whitefish it's a quick drive up to Big Mountain. There is a lot to do in the summer on the mountain - we enjoyed riding the free chair lift while watching people zip down the alpine slide or play in the tree zip lines. And, do not forget Glacier National Park! Wow! We enjoyed a perfect day in the park with blue skies and a fun hike in the snow at Logan Pass. We returned to Seattle very refreshed and in awe of the beauty in Western Montana. It was nice to slow down in this area. Pat and Steve were great to work with - quick to answer our questions and we hope to be back!!

The Skidoo Bay home was a wonderful getaway for my wife and me to enjoy and to escape the heat of the summer south. The view is fantastic to the east watching the sunrise over the lake and to the see the mountains in the east colored by the setting sun. When the downdrafts of the mountains come in occasionally, the wave action on the lake is better than the Pacific Ocean, and the waves breaking on shore are a sight to behold. We enjoyed cooking on the gas grill and eating dinner on the deck watching the array of watercraft come by—bring binoculars to people watch. A lovely restaurant at the end of the road has fun service and wonderful food, and the house is very convenient to nearby Polson for shopping. In July the cherries orchards are in full production, as are huckleberries available all along the roads for buying and enjoying. Don’t miss Glacier National Park, an easy drive from the house for day trips. We made several during our stay. The pictures are very descriptive of what you will enjoy. Bigfork is another quaint shopping and restaurant town that is nearby easily accessible to the house. You will be torn between just “camping” out at the house and enjoying the peace, solitude, and private beach and exploring the area with all its history and beauty. We will definitely return to Flathead for another vacation.
