We loved this property and hope to return for a future trip. You can’t beat the location. We were able to easily walk everywhere and enjoyed being at the house when we were there. The back yard space was a perfect place for our 4 year old son to play. Carmen was very kind and helpful and was easy to communicate with before and during our stay.

We loved staying at the Sea Cottage! Accommodations were perfect! The owner made the process super easy. The location fit what we like… an easy and short walk to beaches, shops, restaurants and art galleries, yet we weren’t in the heart of traffic congestion or noise. We would definitely stay there again!

This was a perfect location for a birthday getaway for my daughter and me. Easy beach access, nice neighborhood. Brick patio with picnic table was perfect for outdoor breakfast. We also loved the glassed in area in the front for reading. The kitchen had everything we needed. The host was very responsive and helpful. You will love it! We would gladly stay there again!

Great stay, perfect location, within walking distance to most everything

Short walk to everything you could want - the beach, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Amazing location! Cute private backyard and porch with swing. House can get a little chilly in the winter, and no central heat, but plenty of space heaters are provided.

The cottage was cozy, comfortable & adorable with everything we needed. Great outdoor space in the back– perfect for having lunch or cocktails outdoors. The location cannot be beat– walkable to all the beaches, restaurants and great shops in the HIP district. Carmen, the host, was very accessible and readily available to help with a couple of minor issues that came up. Highly recommend the beach cottage, especially for a couple, or parents with 1-2 young children.

My family and I had a great stay at the Sea Cottage. This is a very cozy home only a few blocks from the beach and the PCH. It was special staying in Laguna Beach during the winter season. The cottage has much charm with the warm fireplace, resourceful kitchen, laundry, big walk in shower and beautiful landscaping. When enjoyed eating outside and experiencing the patio on our sunnier days. We look forward to another visit during the summer months. Thank you Carmen for your Sea Cottage!

The house is just lovely. We have wanted to stay in Laguna for years and this was a perfect place to relive old memories and make new ones. Incredibly stocked kitchen for making meals, lovely sitting areas inside and out. Really loved the glassed in porch and swing for relaxing and crocheting. Quiet neighborhood but close to EVERYTHING we wanted to do in the town.

This cottage is exactly as it's described and pictured. It's clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. Carmen is a very responsive host. The location is amazing and the yard is so lovely and peaceful.

This property had tons of charm and all the comforts of home! The outdoor living space was fantastic! Just a very short walk to the beach. Location was great - walking distance to shops and restaurants. Beds were very comfortable and the owner was very responsive with the communication. We will definitely go back!

We had an excellent time staying here with our dog and 15 month old son. Excellent location and loved not having to drive when going to all the fun beachside restaurants for sunsets. When we arrived to check after a long windy drive from vegas the house smelled nice and was very clean. We enjoyed the unique characteristics of an older home mixed with the modern upgrades. We have a very active walker and observant kid - so we also liked the single level floor plan and the lower bed in the bedroom we slept in for safety. We really appreciated the privacy and landscaping in the yard. Midway during our stay the backyard was actually cleaned up from leaves which was very helpful to our use. While the downside to our California trip was the oil spill - which closed the water and shoreline we were not too far a drive from places that had open access and understood that the town laguna was just being more cautious than some of the state beaches. Karmen was very prompt in her communication with us during the entire booking/trip. Overall we would definitely recommend staying here to others. We had a lovely fall vacation escape from our home in the mountains of Colorado where it snowed while we were gone. 😁

Love Love Love this beautiful beach cottage. Super convenient location, two blocks from the beach, shops and great restaurants. So cozy and cute, great backyard space to relax in too. I would definitely book this place the next time I’m in Laguna Beach.

My family and I enjoyed two weeks at this amazing Laguna cottage! The location is perfect! Easy beach access (you can see the ocean from the front of the property), free trolley rides into town (pick up on the corner), very clean home with everything we needed as well as a beautiful yard for our small dog. Carmen was a wonderful host! We will be back soon!!!

We had a great stay in the cute and cozy little cottage. With new renovations and upgrades the house feels clean and airy. The many windows are a huge plus to enjoy the fresh sea air. It was also super convenient to be so close to the beach. Just a quick climb up the steps and a block back to the house for a quick break. The kitchen was perfect for cooking meals, however the dinning space is tight for 6 people. We made it work, but we were so looking forward to dinning outdoors as the picture shows a table outside, but it was no longer there when we stayed. Overall, it is a great home-base for beach, shopping and strolling Laguna.

This cottage was beautiful and great walking distance to the beach and tons of shops and restaurants. Carmen was very accommodating and responsive. We come to Laguna every year and will be looking to see if there’s availability here next trip as well!

Our family of four stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and couldn’t have been happier with our choice of rental. This cottage is cute, well maintained, and a 5 minute walk to everything:beach, tidepools, restaurants, coffee shops, and a park. It’s also on a quiet street so it’s easy to fall asleep or curl up with coffee and a book in the mornings. Carmen is a welcoming host, responsive, and thoughtful. We’d definitely stay here again.

Checkout on app says 10a sharp but received text at 8:30 requesting departure before 10a due to cleaning staff needing parking space at 10a ??? Just felt pushed out. Not recommended for anyone 60 or under.

Tucked away in the best neighborhood in Laguna Beach, this charming cottage is everything you've hoped for! Outside your door is the best food, shopping and beach cove. Put it this way, you'll never want to leave. It feels like home. Just perfect!

Very private property, quiet. We didn't go out much. Took my dog to the beach for the 1st time. He was very happy and loved it.A lot of the place appeared to be upgraded, toilets, sinks, showers. We enjoyed the nice showers. Great smart TV. We had a few issues. back bathroom sprung a leak under the sink and the freezer was frozen shut. But we handled that.The best for us was the front enclosed glass porch. Sunny, lots of outdoor plants made it lovely. My husband plays guitar so he loved the acoustics. Parking in Laguna was horrible, we do not walk much as I am handicapped. So one trip is probably enough for us!Thanks Carmen!
