Loved everything about this house. It was so comfortable, charming, lots of history, and had everything you could imagine needing for cooking.

Our family of 4 with 2 adult Childrens stayed at Casa Carolina for one week in June 2023. The house has a fascinating history! The location is great...just a few blocks and 10 mins or less walk to the beach. The kitchen is very well stocked with appliances, dishes, basic spices - it was great. We all loved hopping in the pool for an end of day swim. We will book it again the next time we stay in Corodado!

What a wonderful property! Nicely maintained, great location and well appointed kitchen (we like to cook). House had a fun history we enjoyed learning about and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

It was awesome! Perfect house for a family with 3 couples and two grandkids ages 3 and 6. Great pool and spa which the kids really enjoyed. Great location, just a short walk to the beach and a nice walk to shops and restarants of Orange Ave. Ray was a great host. Lived right next store and stopped in a few times to check on us. Already planning for next year!!!

A nice large older home close to the beach and shops. Play area off of the living room was great the grandchildren. Wonderful dining areas for family dinners.

Ray’s house was nothing short of spectacular. We stayed with my husband, 5-year old son, and my mother and father in law. Having a whole house to ourselves was perfect. We loved the space and the amenities in the kitchen. We cooked almost every meal and had everything we could possibly my need! My husband and my son thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the spa. This house is also perfectly walkable from the beach or Orange Ave conveniences. We thoroughly enjoyed staying on Coronado as opposed to being in the city. This property is perfect for a family and I’d recommend it to anyone!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving week at this property. The location was excellent for our visit, and the home had everything we could possibly need. This home has plenty of so as for everyone to be together or have a little time to themselves. Unfortunately it was not warm enough most days to enjoy the beautiful outside space. I would recommend this property to any family looking to stay in Coronado!

One of a kind house, located in a great neighborhood. Pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. House had literally anything you could need, and is obviously treasured.

What a great place to use as a homebase to enjoy Coronado and San Diego. We needed four bedrooms in the San Diego area. But really wanted to stay on Coronado Island specifically. We looked and looked and luckily found this listing. The kitchen was large and quite well equipped. The private pool and spa were such a nice luxury. Ray is so helpful and discreet in seeing that we got the most out of our stay. The guest handbook was quite thorough and full of interesting history of the property. It was fun knowing that we enjoyed relaxing in the same living room that Bing Crosby and the Barrymores enjoyed as well. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure was remarkable. The neighborhood is quiet and this property is very private in general. The outdoor lounging and dining areas are wonderful and beautifully landscaped. Not much traffic or neighborhood noise, just the birds. Also, the walk to the beach was pretty easy. We even made it to the hotel Del and back. Thanks Ray!

My family and I had a wonderful week in Coronado, and much of it was due to the house we stayed at. The pool and spa were great additions to the property and used them daily. The ample space and varying outdoor spots to gather and socialize were awesome too. The kitchen was super well stocked with anything and everything needed to cook and BBQ. the location to the beach and Orange Ave was also a huge draw to the house. We really loved our stay and hope to do it again soon.

Ray's home is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and has a wonderful Coronado location a few blocks from the beach and about a quarter-mile from the restaurant strip on Orange Avenue. We've now enjoyed two stays, and recommend it for anyone wanting to stay in Coronado. It's a lovely antique-filled home with a very well-stocked kitchen and lots of lovely, quirky spaces. The hot tub is a wonderful end to every ending.

This is a wonderful home for a family reunion. There is a fabulous toy room for kids and of coarse the pool was great. The kitchen has everything you would need for cooking and the location is close to the beach as well as shops. The furnishings are comfortable though a bit tired; no worries about hurting anything. All around a great spot.

Just 3 tiny blocks to the beach in one of the prettiest neighborhoods on the island. This home has charm, comfort and all the amenities any family could dream of. Nothing was left to chance. Every detail of this house is geared to the comfort of its guests. We are eternally grateful that the homeowners have the generosity of heart to share their beloved home.
