This property was fantastic! The communication, help with navigating activities, ideas/suggestions and assistance booking restaurants from the property hosts was unbelievable! All my questions were immediately answered. The house was perfect for our group of 8 (ranging in age from 8-80 years).

The trip was great - house, beach, monkeys, everything! Dawn the house concierge was the best! Housekeeping was supposed to come during our stay and never showed. It wasn’t a big deal but would have been nice. We’d go back for sure!!

This house has everything you would ever need ! It’s very clean great pool lots of shade! Love that there’s lawn chairs to take down to the beach and boogie boards. We really enjoyed! Thanks again Dale and Sheila

Beautiful house, tastefully decorated, impeccably clean. 3 minute walk to beach. The property manager Dawn was absolutely amazing, had beautiful flower arrangements and ceviche and guacamole waiting for us when we arrived and helped us with food/taxi/transportation during our stay. Would highly recommend this property to others.

Let me start by saying that Dawn was a hospitable and gracious host! She was exceptional in every way! I could go on and on. The home was clean and free from bugs. It was much nicer than we had anticipated. We were welcomed with chocolates and fresh fruit. The A/C was strong! My kids loved the pool and enjoyed seeing monkeys in nearby trees in the mornings. It was a couple minute walk to the beach. SO CLOSE! It’s a great surf spot that was more kid-friendly. The more intense surf spot was in front of Taco Star, which is a few minute drive from the house. The home is in a gated community and has a gate around it. Feels super safe and has an alarm system. It had way more room than we needed. Plenty of space to fit another family.

We had a great family trip to beautiful Costa Rica. The house is large and comfortable with a wonderful pool to relax in and after spending the day at the beach. The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, and very safe. It’s just a short walk (maybe 3 minutes)to the beach and a great restaurant steps away from the house.. The property manager, Dawn, is amazing! She helped to arrange excursions, gave suggestions on where to go, and even had dinner delivered to us when we were all exhausted from a fun day of exploring. I don’t think this trip would have been as much fun if we did not have Dawn’s guidance. She also manages a surf camp and has surfboard rentals just a short walk from the house. It’s a great house and a great location!

Out first visit to Costa Rica did not disappoint! The house is located in a great location - walking distance to beach, restaurants, bars, grocery, surfboard rental and a short bike ride to wonderful surf shop -Frijoles Locos. The house is spacious and very clean. I cannot say enough about Dawn & Victor, Property Managers. We provided Dawn with a list before our trip and she arranged everything!! Groceries delivered prior to our arrival, airport transfer, off shore fishing, ATV tour & snorkeling, Ziplining, Surf board rental, private cook with delicious Costa Rican foods - they are an absolutely dream to work with and made our vacation a true relaxing experience.

Incredible trip to Costa Rica! Location was safe, walk to beach, restaurants and bars, and water taxi away from Tanmarindo (larger than Playa Grande). We had 3 sets of adults and 2 kids. The fact that each family and even kids had their own bathroom was a game changer. Pool is a must and they clean it daily. Dawn, the property Manager is amazing and made any excursions and getting Covid test prior to flight and rides to airport seamless and stress less.

The house is in a great location and the layout works very well with many people. The kitchen is big and well equipped. We enjoyed our stay very much !

This was our third stay in Palm Beach Estates in the last 6 years. We chose the house for its proximity to the beach access, as surfing is our primary activity. The house is large and fairly well equipped. We did not do a ton of cooking, but what we needed was there. Pool is freshwater and lovely and there is an outdoor shower. Two outdoor tables and 4 lounge chairs made sitting outside enjoyable. House is encased in gates and even has a "caged" patio that we hose cushions looked dirty and not very inviting. Beds were memory foam and comfortable. AC and fans are more than powerful enough to keep house comfortable. Amazing meals at El Huerto, Mar Azul, Pangas on the beach in Tamarindo and Coco Loco on Flamingo beach. We rent favorite boards from Frijoles but Dawn and Victor have some nice ones at Playa Grande Surf Camp as well. Dawn and Victor were amazing hosts and the neighborhood was wonderfully friendly. Perfect place for those who are looking for a quiet escape on a beautiful beach. It is the best place to learn to surf as beach is all sand and surf is usually tame.

My family has stayed in Playa Grande many times, but this was our first time at Casa Hermosa. The house is everything we hoped for and more. Victor is an excellent on-site host. Linda, the owner, responded to all our questions even when she was traveling out of the country. We hope to be back soon!

The property was beautiful and fit perfect for my family. The location was a bit challenging to get to with the bumpy dirt roads but once there, it was simply amazing. The beach was just across the street and never crowded with great waves and tons of shells. Cafe Mar Azul was just down the street with amazing food at decent prices. The surf shop was also close and easy to rent surf boards from. Dawn and Victor who the manage the property and run/own the cafe and surf shop were incredible and so accommodating! I have zero complaints. My whole family enjoyed our stay and hope to return. If you choose this property, you will not be disappointed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Hermosa. The house was large and clean. There were plenty of spaces to relax in the house as well as outside. Our daughters loved the pool. We enjoyed the large kitchen which was well stocked. One of the best perks of Casa Hermosa was the property manager, Victor, and his wife, Dawn. They are the owners of Cafe Mar Azul which is right down the road and it is an excellent spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Dawn was also helpful in arranging an excursion to Arenal which was a highlight of our trip. We are already looking forward to staying here again. We would highly recommend staying at this house.

Victor is a great manager. House is excellent for families - this is our second time coming back and will return again!

We spent a week here and loved it. The pool was our favorite place to hang out together. The beach is a 3 minute walk, and the water taxi to Tamarindo was just at the end of the beach. Victor and Dawn were so helpful with booking excursions, renting surf boards, in home massages and anything else we needed. I would recommend this house for anyone staying in Playa Grande.
