We do enjoyed staying at this cozy cabin with the Tesla charger. We did a lot of outdoor activities like biking, hiking, kayaking, but also had great family time at the house. The kitchen is amazing with great pots and pans. The bedrooms were comfy. The house was spacious and the host extremely responsive.

We really enjoyed staying in this home. It had everything that we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with amazing appliances. The rooms were spacious and everyone had a comfortable bed. It had two family areas with televisions and space for all to gather. We loved the expandable table allowing our big family to eat together. Beautiful deck overlooking tall trees. The deck was huge. House was very clean! It had a electric charging unit in the garage which we didn't use but a great addition to the home. Loved working with Aaron. He was an amazing host. Recommend this home to everyone

My family really liked Aaron’s lovely home. It is in our favorite Truckee neighborhood. Aaron is a great communicator and was prompt in his response to my questions and comments. Everything in the house worked perfectly and we did everything to keep it clean and treat the home like our own. We would love to stay in Aaron’s house again if we have a big group.

This was the first time my grandson saw snow. The house was well equipped with a sled and saucers for backyard fun, and well stocked with kitchen basics to make snack and meal times easier. The sledding hill in the backyard was perfect- not too steep, but still a fun ride for adults and kids. The road out front was perfect for walking. The house was clean and had everything we needed! We’ll definitely stay here again.

Much more than a cabin! House was well equipped and so spacious for a large family gathering. Beautiful updated bathrooms and awesome kitchen. Garage was so convenient. Easy check in and check out. Would definitely come here again. We also used the rec center! Thanks for a memorable vacation. Skiing was also awesome.

The Daru Family Cabin was great - plenty of space, very clean, and the kitchen included every utensil/device/amenity ever created (the spice selection was awesome!). The hosts provided a clear and concise “house manual” which contained instructions, tips, coupons, maps, and more which made it very easy to plan our daily activities. The VRBO listing was extremely accurate - a wonderful location and home that we would definitely consider staying at again!

Family 4th of July get away
The house was great for our 6 adults and 4 small children. The kids loved the bunk room, and the house was everything we expected per the pictures. Loved the location to Donner Lake and NorthStar Ski area and of course Lake Tahoe! Thanks Aaron!

Great House
I can't say enough about this house and the owners.
I felt like I was in my own kitchen it was so well stocked. This continued through out the house with linens and towels.
The owner was very responsive with any questions we had.
We had a wonderful Christmas and New Years, lots of great memories for grandkids to share for years to come. I highly recommend this house.

Lovely accommodations
Really enjoyed our time there and the owner was fabulous in getting questions answered rapidly - even thru the power outage we had the last night!!! There were plenty of bedrooms for the large group I took and the kitchen was nicely stocked! It was all very clean and inviting! Loved the openness of the upstairs! Could have used a few more hand towels and washcloths in the bathrooms!! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Great location!
The property was beautiful and spacious. The location was very convenient with Donner State park minutes away. The kitchen allowed for multiple cooks which made dinners a breeze. We'd definitely stay their again!

Lovely three weeks
This is a very easy house for family gatherings. We were 4 adults and two children most of the time, with plenty of space to spread-out and have privacy. The large porch was wonderful for breakfast and dinner times.

Great 4th of July Getaway
My group of friends and I had a wonderful stay at Aaron's cabin during a 4th of July weekend! The cabin is super spacious, clean and was in a great location that allowed us to easily access both Tahoe, Donner Lake, and the mountains!
Whenever we had any questions about the house, Aaron was also very responsive and helpful!
Highly recommend this great house as a wonderful place to gather with family or friends!

Aaaaamazing!
Hands down, highest quality of attention to detail and consideration for guests by the home owner! Such a pleasure to be able to communicate with the owner opposed to a property mgmt company. All listed amenities were provided, technology throughout the home made the stay pleasant and comfortable.
We look forward to our next stay as we love the Truckee area.

Best Tahoe donner house !
We have rented many houses in Tahoe Donner over the past few years and this was hands down the best house.
The location is great!
The house was stocked with plenty of linens. The kitchen was stocked perfectly with appliances and spices etc. The layout of the house was perfect for a big family or a group of families. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had comfortable beds.
We had no issues we needed to contact the owners about!
Only thing that was maybe missing was a hot tub- we thought one on the bottom deck would be perfect but didn’t affect our stay whatsoever!
We will definitely be renting this house again!

Lovely Large Home Great for Family
Our family reunion couldn’t have been better! This house was well equipped for cooking with everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and rooms well appointed. Our only problem was the internet which sometimes gave out when family members we’re working. We loved our stay here!

Excellent property and great owners!
We’ve rented a lot of Tahoe houses over the years, and this is one of the best experiences we’ve had. Here’s why:
— The owners have clearly put a lot of thought and effort into making sure the house is set up so that guests have a great experience. We were a group of six adults and five kids (ranging in age from 5 to 8), and the house had everything we needed—plenty of dishes, towels, etc. for a big group. We appreciated things like each room having a closet with hangers and a luggage rack, as well as a few empty kitchen cupboards for us to store our groceries while we were there. We also loved having a family room on both floors, so adults could be in one space with kids in the other. There are also nice extras like Sonos, Netflix, a Tesla charger, etc.
— From the time we reserved through the end of our stay, the owner, Aaron, was very responsive. We had a few questions along the way, and he replied almost immediately, and was always helpful and friendly.
— All the communication by email and in the house binder was super clear, and check in and check out were a breeze. The owners want you to have a good vacation and it shows.
We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you, Daru family, for a great stay!

Fabulous vacation home
Nice area, and easy access. Excellent accommodations with plenty of room for large family gathering. Nice large kitchen with eating counter for 4 people. Owner was very responsive and welcoming. Had a wonderful Thanksgiving family get-together with 7 adults and 5 children. Plenty of room for all. Would stay again without a doubt.

Our family rented this wonderful home for a week in July. Our visit was fantastic. Aaron was easy to work with, very responsive and accommodating. Beautiful home in the woods
We were very pleased with the cabin in the woods! Super clean and plenty of room. We came up for a soccer tournament and spent 3 nights with 2 other families. The kitchen was super nice with lot of room! The wine fridge came in handy for wine of course and extra drinks for the kids. The rooms were great and spread out so each of us had our own space. The downstairs was really nice for kids to get away and lounge around or play games. We are planning on coming again! Thank you!
