My husband and I could not have found a more perfect place to enjoy our Lake City vacation. The cabin is exactly as described (and more) and Julie is the ultimate host! We had a bonus during our stay...an unexpected snow!!!! We stayed warm and cozy while watching spectacular views. We can not wait to return!

Julie was a fabulous host and the cabin was a wonderful home away from home. Updated cabin and good size for our family of 4. We loved the views, location and the deck with nice table and chairs was perfect for our meals at the cabin.

My family really enjoyed our stay. The home was perfect for us. We cooked breakfast every morning and supper several nights. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Julie checked on us several times to make sure all was well. I would recommend this home to anyone wanting to stay in Lake City.

This property had everything you could possibly need or want. Beautiful cabin and bakery was in walking distance. Owner was very attentive and checked on us regularly.

My girlfriend and I stayed for four days in July and had a great time. Julie was a great host and made sure everything was perfect for us. The house beautiful and we looked forward to our time on the deck in the afternoon. Lake City has so much to offer. We summited two 14ers, drove the alpine loop, visited waterfalls, and paddle boarded on the lake. Highly recommend!

We loved the look and feel of the cabin! Great size for our family of 5! Well stocked with basic necessities which was very helpful! We loved the deck! We didn't attempt the umbrella on the deck so I am not sure how easy it would be and it did get warm at night. The ceiling fans helped with that though! We would absolutely stay again!

We absolutely loved staying at Julie’s mountain home. Perfect location that is convenient to Lake City and to hiking trails. The house was beautifully decorated and had everything you could possibly need in the kitchen! We would definitely stay here again!

We were extremely pleased. It was a comfortable updated home with every amenity we could have hoped for. Julie was excellent to work with. We felt she cared about our needs and kept our lines of communication open. I would definitely book this house again. It would be my first choice.

We had a great time in Lake City! This house was spotless and so comfortable! The kitchen was well stocked. The deck was wonderful! We ate every evening meal outside looking at the mountains! The view was beautiful!! Julie was wonderful to work with. She stayed in touch with us, making sure we had everything we needed. She went above and beyond in answering our questions and giving us information about the area! If we get back to Lake City, we would definately want to stay here again!!

We are empty nesters who wanted to escape the August heat back home. Our three grown kids joined us for part of our stay. We all loved the house and were very comfortable there. The house has attractive, modern furnishings. It felt like a home. The owners paid lots of attention to detail and anticipated everything we needed. The kitchen is VERY well equipped. We cooked almost every day, and never had the experience of needing something and not having it. And the beds are comfortable! We had great communication with the owner from before check in and throughout our stay. She checked on us periodically and was very responsive. There is a lot to do in Lake City. It’s a short walk to town where we found walking trails, restaurants, an ice cream shop, shopping, bingo, concerts, a movie theater, and even a ghost tour. We rented a Jeep and drove the Alpine Loop. We went whitewater rafting in Gunnison. And we spent lots of time reading and enjoying the beautiful view of the mountains from the deck. We enjoyed staying in this beautiful house and can’t wait to go back!

A BEAUTIFUL HOME, the BEST view in Lake City and nicest and most accommodating hosts we could hope for! We did not wish for a thing. If you are headed to LC, you won't be disappointed at Alpine Vista!
