The terrace has the most beautiful view. It was so nice to just relax and look at the birds, the boats, the walkers. The third floor gives quite a bit of privacy, too. This is a very well run property. We would definitely stay again.

We had a great time and Susie was an awesome host. Great location close to bars restaurants and all the amenities near by. Beach was five minutes away but we also enjoyed the beautiful quiet bay.

Everything about this stay was perfect. The condo was gorgeous. Steps from the bay, the views were awesome. The kitchen and living room had spectacular views out over the bay and at night the lights were amazing. The kitchen was big enough for multiple folks to be chopping and cooking and had everything needed. Back the other way, we were minutes from the ocean and could take the chairs and board and spend the day. Scrupulously clean, best shower I've been in and the views mean we will be back as often as we can.

My two sisters and I stayed here, and we found it to be perfect for us. The view is fantastic and the furnishings were very comfortable, which was good because we had to cancel two days of activities due to the worst weather San Diego has ever endured. It has the best-equipped VRBO kitchen that I have seen. Susie was very easy to work with and even called to check on us during the storm. We would go back in a heartbeat!!

We had two Seniors - Two millennials and one 6 year old. Our host, Susie, accommodated all three age groups from an elevator (we were on the third floor) to beach toys (we literally were ten steps from sand). Communications with Susie were smooth as butter and the pictures of the condo are TRUE to form enhanced only buy the sunrise views and two block walk to the ocean. THANK YOU Susie... we hope to have a return trip!

This spot is a gem! The space and views from every spot of the living area are magical. The location can’t be beat and the host is fantastic and making our stay a seamless and wonderful experience. She goes above and beyond with communication, and checking was a breeze. The location and two parking spots that come with this unit are a game changer, but the views of the water are what makes this spot so special. We even had fireworks every night of our stay that we could see from the huge balcony. We hope to be back! I highly recommend!

We stayed for 4 nights 12/13/-12/17/23. Loved the condo. Beautifulrooms, comfortable funiture and beds. The master bedroom is gorgeous with walk in shower and sunk in tub. Kitchen is fully stocked if you want to cook. Large fridge/ freezer. The views from balcony..Wow! LOCATION IS PERFECT. Owner, Suzie, was available for questions and provided great recommendations for restaurants. It was an amazing place. I recommend this one 5 stars for sure!

Everything about our stay here was pleasing. Check in was a breeze, our host was responsive & helpful regarding procedures and where to go for good eats in the neighborhood. The view here is amazing and the space is very clean & cozy including comfortable beds & a beautiful kitchen overlooking the bay. We would come back & we highly recommend! Probably the best property we’ve stayed at, & we have stayed at many, many properties over the years. Susie Purvis was also the nicest owner I’ve ever worked with. I could not believe how well stocked the house was! We have stayed at units where we were lucky if the bathrooms had a roll of TP! We are renting Susie’s units again next summer!

We loved our visit to Susie’s beach house. She was responsive and gave tips for restaurants/activities in the area. The house was clean, it was the perfect location, and checking in and out was easy!

This property is perfect. It is right on the bay and the deck is the perfect spot for coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. Susie was a wonderful host. The house is clean, very well organized, and has everything you need. When we got in, we ordered grocery delivery and were set for the week. We will definitely stay again!

The best place we have stayed at so far at Mission Beach/Bay. The view was fantastic! Things that made it extra sweet were a very well-stocked kitchen, great location, bathtub to bathe toddlers, elevator, pack-n-play, beach chairs umbrella and ice chest if needed. Susie was very helpful and responsive.

Great location, very clean, spacious and well maintained. The large patio provides a 180-degree view of the bay. Susie is organized and very helpful. The unit has two parking spaces which was very nice, but the smaller one was tight and took some practice. We have vacationed in Mission Beach for more than thirty years and would certainly return to this property.

This condo was perfect for our long weekend. The location is amazing right on the bay and short 2 blocks from the ocean on the other side. The condo has a big deck and table for relaxing and dining overlooking the bay and bayside boardwalk. It was so peaceful and quiet, especially in the mornings and evenings. And bonus that you can see the Seaworld fireworks! And the energy and activity of the beach side boardwalk is just a few minute walk away. Lots of restaurants and stores within walking distance as well as the Catamaran resort. The inside is very spacious and super clean and has everything you need to entertain or just hang out and relax. The elevator for unloading and loading bags and groceries, etc was very helpful and having two parking spaces so friends and family could easily visit was a luxury. Susie was a great host-very responsive, helpful and easy to work with. Overall a fantastic place and one we will definitely visit again. Thanks for a great trip!!

This is such an awesome condo..the accomodations were wonderful, the view phenomenal (free fireworks across the bay for night time enjoyment) the outside patio deck was perfect...you will love this place..thank you Suzie for making us "the hostess with the mostess" for family reunion!

Susie is absolutely the best host we have ever had the privilege of staying with. Every detail is well thought out. Susie makes you feel at home and very comfortable. From guidance of activities around the area to some great restaurant recommendations. Everything in the home is clean, well kept and maintained. Met family to celebrate our recent wedding. The kitchen and house had everything we needed. The outside deck and bay front beach area were perfect. It was spotless (and I am picky). Walked everywhere.

We had a great time staying at the beach house. Check in was easy, the location was great, and everything was as advertised. There was plenty of beach stuff... towels, chairs, cooler, and toys. Communication was clear and helpful.

Communication with Suzie was easy and great. She quickly addressed a weather related problem we had in the rainiest, windiest winter anyone could remember. This top level of a three-story is exactly as advertised, and the elevator was appreciated for luggage up and down. We absolutely loved the large balcony with a fabulous view. There’s room to eat out there or just sit and relax. Three bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths was just right for three adult couples. The beds are made of something other than regular mattress which I thought I might not like but I slept well. Sort of like a gel mattress on all beds, but not waterbeds. The kitchen is very well stocked and had many more things for cooking than we needed. We had the windows and patio doors open a lot without using the screens, and there were no bugs during the whole week. I wanted a property that is not smack in the middle of the bars and partying scene of Pacific Beach. This was a great compromise as it was just under a mile to walk there on flat and pretty boardwalk next to the ocean. This house sits directly on the bay and it’s just two streets away from the Ocean side/beach with waves and surfers, which was another reason I booked it. The only only downside I saw to this place was that the double vanity for the master bedroom is not in the bathroom, but is in the master bedroom. I got over that quickly because everything else about the house was so great. The master shower, which I used had a great hot water supply and also great water pressure!

Our condo was awesome...right on the bay and offered fantastic views. It was super clean, well-appointed and very close to all of the attractions we wanted to see. Loved it! Lorraine

12/19/22 - 1/13/23 Our stay was amazing! The unit we stayed in was comfortable, cozy and relaxing. The owner, Susie, has supplied her home with everything you need - from the kitchen to the family room to the bedroom. The gas fire place was an added bonus to help take out the evening chill. The patio overlooking the bay was spectacular - the view was beautiful and mesmerizing. The sunrises were breathtaking. We had six adults staying in this unit and felt very comfortable with the amount of space we had. There is a gas grill on the patio which we made ample use of. As for the location, it was perfect. Susie's home is right on the bay and only two blocks from the ocean. There are long boardwalks on both the bay side and the ocean side. The only concern one might have is that the parking is very tight. If you do encounter an issue with another vehicle, Susie will address accordingly. However, on the plus side, you do get two parking spaces! Susie was the perfect host. If we had a question or needed suggestions, she would respond immediately! We highly recommend a stay at Susie's place!!!

Nice location on Bay side of Mission Beach. Great views of bay, within short walk of beach. Lot of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Close to major attractions in San Diego.

The house is wonderful for 2 families with 4 kids under the age of 8. The kiddos had a place to play in the loft area or down in the basement area. The location is great, just a couple minutes from the base of the mountain. The house was very clean and stocked of all of the little things like foil, some spices, baggies, trash bags, etc. which was so nice and a bonus! The hosts were easy to work with and answered all of our questions and let us check in a little early! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

This place is exactly as described. As none of us knew SanDiego very well, we were so excited about the location. It is close to lots of fun restaurants and shops (walking distance), it is in a safe neighborhood, the sunrises and views are incredible, walking along the bay right outside the door is wonderful. I truly can't think of ONE reason not to stay there again. Susie, the owner, was great to work with

This is our second stay at this property so obviously we enjoy it here. It is easy walk to the beach a and loads of restaurants! I prefer the quieter bay side to the ocean properties, and the clear view from the third floor provides much more privacy that ground level accommodations.
