We had a great stay at this charming house which is located in walking distance to local restaurants. On this trip we were traveling to various cities within Denver during the day and this was a great spot to come home to each night. Highly recommend.

Cassandra’s house was the perfect mixture of vintage and new. Very cozy amazing location just blocks from Old Town Arvada. Our fur babies loved the yard! We would definitely stay there again

We stayed here for a month, and really enjoyed our stay. Location near old town was really great. Parking was easy, the neighborhood was quiet, and the yard and outdoor space was wonderful. Host was easy to reach in case of problems, and any issues were minor and typical of an older home.

Wow!! This is a great place to stay in Arvada! From the gorgeous yard to the lovely deck outside the upstairs area the house just invites you to relax and enjoy Olde Town Arvada. We attended a football game Saturday so checked out the train station which is just about three blocks from the house. We decided we could come back in the RTD and walk to the house. We also picked up a pizza and meatball sliders at Home Grown Dough to take back with us for dinner. The kitchen is super well stocked and even had two crockpots to choose from for making my beef stew for Sunday dinner! The availability of Live and streaming television programs was great as well. Our Son and sigother live in Westminster so it was close for them to be able to easily find us for Sunday dinner together! We enjoyed dinner at School House restaurant and loved the school decor of the place and the food was the best! At the house there was plenty of space to put our two dog crates in the downstairs bedroom, we used the large upstairs bedroom and if we had had grandkids along they would have loved the kids nook upstairs. The decor lends itself to a mix of old with new. Great uses of the older touches in the restrooms with newer touches especially the rain head shower upstairs just makes you enjoy the amenities more. The staircase is beautiful. Just an fyi for us over 65 folks, there is a step up into kitchen from laundary room,

The host thoughtfully thought of everything a family would need to have a relaxing, stress free vacation. Thank you.

Place was perfect for our family of 4! Teens had their own rooms to get away to but the place had the feel of a warm home. Definitely will look at again when visiting.

Great little house within walking distance to Old Towne Arvada. Host was very kind at the end to offer an extra day with an incoming storm.

We loved the proximity of the home to downtown Arvada and the ease of walking to restaurants, etc. The home itself was smaller than I thought it would be. The home had so many well-thought out touches that made it feel more like home. We enjoyed our stay and were very happy that our pups were welcome and they loved the yard.

Get ready to step back in time! Very cute VRBO with lots of personal touches. Well stocked kitchen, great location close to the charming OLD TOWN Arvada. Loved all the nightlights throughout the property. 2 awesome decks are why we rented this place. Excellent parking behind the property. The only downside is the stairs are hard to manuever and the bathtubs are the old claw type which would be hard for the elderly to step in and out of. Overall, we loved the property though and Cassandra was VERY responsive!!

It was great to walk into town and enjoy all it has to offer. I was concerned about the parking at the house but found there was plenty available behind the property. The yard was spacious and quite private. I enjoyed coffee on the deck in the cool mornings There were a few small hiccups, no working wine opener, no bath mats for the tubs, I was fearful of falling in the tub and the downstairs toilet ran. Other than that, I really enjoyed our stay!

We traveled to the area for a wedding with our toddler and two dogs. The house was beautiful, and perfect for our needs. The fenced yard worked great, and it was really nice to walk to old town Arvada and the light rail station when we were looking for activities.

Just had the best 4 day stay in Old Town Arvada! This house was perfect! The location couldn’t have been better. We walked into town to eat, visited the Sunday market and felt all the comforts of home on our visit. Would highly recommend staying here. We had our little dog with us and he totally enjoyed the large fenced in yard. Plus, the restaurants were dog friendly so we never had to leave him home alone. Already thinking about a winter visit to ski!

Easy accomodations, Cassandra had great communication as needed. Lovely home and property. Great yard and well furnished home. Clean. Amenities very helpful (Laundry, Dishwasher, kitchen supplies). Will definitely stay again! A home away from home. Grocery store quick 1.2 mile drive, 15 mins from North Table Mountain hiking, 20 min from Golden, Easy access to Denver. One mile off highway. Walkable to entire town of restaurants, shops, wine and beer.

Loved our stay in Arvada. Perfect location between Denver and Boulder. We picked the house because it was pet friendly and had a beautiful grassy yard, and were delighted w the proximity to old Towne and the light rail. Enjoyed a concert at Red Rocks, a guided mountain bike ride, a day at RMNP, 2 golf days, and a day at sporting Denver. The house had everything we needed and more. Father’s Day was spent with family on the back deck. Would definitely stay again! Only challenges were stairs (we ended up sleeping in downstairs bedroom) and tubs, but impressive water pressure made up for awkwardness of tubs. This one is all about location, location, location! Old Towne was delightful w farmers market, restaurants, bars, people, and shops.

Having lived in the Lakewood area in the mid 80's !! and returning for annual vacation trips to the Rockies, this place stood out, very close to the rail system, restaurants, shops, quiet neighborhood, pleasant walking area's thru out our stay. will definitely return to this home in the future, makes for a very nice base camp. very clean with a touch of history in this home. The property is lovely, comfortable beds, lots of space inside and outdoors (we didn’t use the patio, 2nd floor deck or playground but others would appreciate these). We were happy to be given an early check-in without asking for it. There was a plumbing problem with the downstairs toilet which the owner quickly addressed. The beautiful open indoor staircase is poorly designed (bolts in the middle of each step) which is a safety issue leading to the owner advising us before we arrived to use the outdoor staircase to bring suitcases upstairs for our “safety and sanity”, so beware of that especially if you are staying in the winter. There is a downstairs bedroom so if you only need one bedroom then you won’t have to negotiate the stairs. Both bathrooms are charming but they both have claw-footed bathtubs which are quite high and both challenging to get in and out of (and there are no grab-bars). The upstairs shower is particularly challenging and the downstairs mirror is located in a way that makes it difficult to use when shaving. We made a lot of day trips and it is convenient to downtown Denver, Rocky Mountain National Park, Boulder and even Colorado Springs. Most ski resorts are close as well. Old Town Arvada is two blocks away with shopping, breweries and great food. The house is on a double lot with two patios and a swing set for enjoying the outdoors, weather permitting. The decor is very "eclectic," but comfortable. The only potential problem for guests with mobility issues might be the staircase and clawfoot tubs. The floating stairs are a beautiful and well crafted, but the supporting beam runs up the center and you find yourself stepping on it. (the owner recommends using the outside stairs for luggage.) You have to step over and into the tubs, and navigate the vinyl curtains. The water pressure is good though. We would definitely come back.

The welcoming of pets is what attracted us to this home and it was a lovely stay! The area that it was in was perfect located. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at this lovely house for 3 weeks as we visited family in the area. A wonderful house with a great yard and just a few blocks from historic Olde Town with shops, restaurants, and bars.
