We all had a fabulous time. Everything was in close proximity. We loved the backyard.

My 10 girlies and I came and stayed for my bachelorette trip and had an amazing time. The house was bigger than it looked in the photos, and there was plenty of room for everyone.

We had a blast at the Mod Haus!

We hosted our sons engagement party at this home and it was perfect! We had family and close friends and the set up was great for everyone. The backyard is so beautiful and really huge! The fire pit is such a bonus too and loved the outside lights and extra details! The house is dated but charming and the furniture and decor really works! Love the open concept living rooms which again, are perfect for family get togethers with large groups. The giant TV was also a BIG hit with lots of college football games being played that day. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The kitchen was well stocked too. The only thing I would change about the house would be the view from the front as it faces a convenience store dumpster. But, the backyard more than makes up for the front and it's quiet in the backyard too!

We recently visiting Fredericksburg for our friends birthday weekend and we all stayed here. 11 of us all had plenty of room in this massive house and everyone had a spot to sleep and relax, but also come together and play games provided at the property.

Lots of space. Nice property. It was just too hot to walk toain street otherwise the location was fine. Very cute decore

The house is spacious, easy to keep clean, has all the amenities for people staying there, and additional friends. They all want to come back again next year. A+

The pool is definitely nice, the house was decently clean, however the bedding sheets were stained and the yellow comforter was black along the edges and dirty. We did wash and it was much better. The throw pillows were grimy. The yards show much neglect, not just from a water shortage. Ants and stickers and dirt. The house is very old and it shows. The TV is great and the kitchen is nice. I have rented from VRBO for years and this is the first time that I have been disappointed. The pictures are not true to what you are getting. We made the best of it but would not rent again.

We stayed here for my sister's Bachelorette weekend. Nice sized home perfect sleeping accommodations for everyone. It's conveniently located near downtown and short trip to the vineyards. Bonus was the pool which we all enjoyed after wine tour. Will definitely consider staying here again. Thank to our host's!

What a great place to stay! Our group had tons of room and we loved the mid century decor. The pool and patio were awesome! Even though the house faced a busy street, it was super quiet inside the house and out by the pool. The beds were comfortable and the living room was large enough for a big group to hang out in. We loved our time there!

This was such a wonderful experience. The property was absolutely perfect for our group. The main portion of the house is very open and was great for our larger group. The backyard with the pool was so nice and beautiful! The communication with the owners was absolutely wonderful. I even left my laptop and live about 5 hours away, and of course didn’t remember till hours after being home. I contacted the owners immediately and they got right back to me, found my items and sent them out the next day. If we ever need a home for a larger group again I will definitely be booking the Mod House!!!!!

This property was perfect for our girls trip. It was extremely clean and well organized. It is very fitting for a large group. We were able to stay and get ready for the day without being on top of one another. The pool and backyard were perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We hosted a bachelorette weekend here and it was great!!! The house is so spacious, with plenty of bathrooms and room to spread out. We easily slept 13 girls no problem. We also enjoyed the outdoor space so much! Was great to lounge around after a hike at Enchanted Rock!

Walking into The Mod House was absolutely exactly what we saw on the VRBO website. The owners were fabulous with their communication with our group. We had 8 of us in the house and with 6 bedrooms and 4 baths it was perfect for lots of space for everyone. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and inviting. The large open kitchen and dining area had just about everything we needed!! The gas grill was clean and worked great. We enjoyed sitting under the covered patio with our coffee and/or other beverages. Some tried out the gorgeous pool next to the lovely wild flowers. We will have to come back when it’s cooler so we can try out the fire pit, as the rain and hail messed up our fire pit evening. The layout of the house gave all of us our own privacy. The living room was so comfortable, and we also played games on the dining room table. The owners were so easy to contact and so pleasant to work with. We look forward to renting The Mod House again… it truly feels like home and you will not want to leave!!!

We loved the house, it was perfect for the amount of people we had and everyone had plenty of space which is always my biggest concern. The house was very clean and we will 100% rent this house again this summer so we can use the pool and hang out!

Spacious and charming property, lots of room for everyone!

This house was ideal for our group. We originally had 10 people and ended up with only 9. There was plenty of room for all to spread out and not feel on top of each other. The kitchen was spacious and allowed for multiple cooks operating together without stepping on each other’s toes. I wish there had been better instructions on how to operate the lights. The climate control would not cool down and we had to open windows during the day. Thank you again for letting us enjoy your beautiful home, we will definitely be back.

The house was perfect! It had enough bedrooms and bathrooms. The living area and kitchen were very spacious and the decor was beautiful 🤩 The backyard was beautiful and spacious as well, it had a swimming pool, fire place lots of sitting plus a heater. Too bad we couldn’t use it, the weather was too cold and rainy but definitely would rent this house again. Oh and the house has everything you could possibly need.

This cool fifties style home was a terrific choice for a family wedding weekend. With 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, everyone had their own space. A large living area and open kitchen make plenty of room for togetherness as well. A game room, a fire pit and swimming pool, plus a beautiful yard round out the amenities. It is about a mile to Main St., perhaps a bit far for some, but we enjoyed the walk. It’s not far to grocery store, a restaurant and a winery though. We all loved it and would stay here again

Stayed with several couples here to catch up and relax. Perfect spot for us. Very comfortable and roomy for 11 people. We all loved the decor. Hosts responded immediately to a couple of questions we had. Hope to return in the future!

Stayed here for 2 nights for my bachelorette party. This house is so cute and there was plenty of room for 8 of us. Would definitely stay here again!

We had good time with just a couple of issues. Air conditioner had back up and leaked water in kitchen. The kitchen sink was very slow to drain but we were told that it had this problem. The king sized bed mattress was very hard but that’s just our personal comfort. We loved the open living room and kitchen. Also loved the pool area! Overall very fun weekend. We are thinking of trying to get next year for more nights!

We had a fabulous time staying at the Mod Haus! The house was so spacious , comfortable, and easily accommodated our large group. The backyard was absolutely beautiful and we were able to take advantage of the gorgeous swimming pool all weekend long.

This house was really fun with the retro vibe! We had a group of 11 and there was plenty of room. Loved how open it was and with so many bathrooms we had no issues all getting ready for our Bachelorette party weekend. The pool and backyard was amazing. We didn't need for anything except "basic spices" didn't include seasoning salt or onion/garlic powder. There even is a ice machine in the pantry to use! Beds were super comfy too. Overall we loved the quiet location and it was absolutely perfect. Would love to stay here again. We all wanted to live in this house!

Our extended family stayed here for a few nights in July. Everyone enjoyed hanging out at the beautiful pool each evening and playing horseshoes. Beds were comfortable. Hang-out space in living room was nice for our large group. Would recommend this place to friends.

When I booked this property, I understood it to have six bedrooms PLUS two pull out couches when in reality it had five bedroom with a den that had two pull out couches. It was a little confusing but we made it work and had a wonderful time. They had plenty of dishes and kitchen utensils, linens, towels...everything you need in a home away from home. The backyard is awesome! Thank you for having us!

House was amazing for our reunion in Fredericksburg. Great location and very spacious for our group.

This is my family’s second year to stay at Mod Haus for the July 4th holiday. This house has 6 bedrooms & 4 bathrooms which means there is plenty of space for us to sleep & to get ready. The large table & bar stools provide plenty of seating for us all to enjoy our meals together. Our family spends most of our time outside around the pool. With having a very active 2 year old, the doors going out to the pool have a chime you can turn on to help keep tabs on the little one. I’ve never seen that in any of the houses we have rented. The covered porch provides so much shade for those that don’t get in the pool. There were a few floats we enjoyed using so no need to bring your own. There were beach towels in the laundry room but we didn’t have to use since we brought our own. There is a propane gas grill on the back porch with utensils. At night, the large trees light up & just make sitting outside all that more peaceful. Even though this house is in town you would never know. The private fence that goes all around the house gives you the feel of being secluded out away but the gas station across the street makes for picking up more ice or beer such a convenience. The bedrooms are spacious with very comfortable beds & good clean linens. The kitchen is fully stocked with most things you have at home. The owners are absolutely fantastic to rent from. They are quick to respond & offer to help with any question or issue if it should arise. If looking for a house that has convenience of being in town but the quietness of being in the middle of nowhere…Modhaus is the house for you.

We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful backyard. The house could use some updating (mostly the bathrooms). Parts of the home were not clean (hair throughout the shower in the joined bathroom). But our family loved sitting on the back porch and swimming in the fantastic pool!
