Everything was as it looked in the pictures. The verandah was excellent. Hosts were great, place was clean. I wouldn't cook 3 meals a day here, but for small bites and BBQ dishes it was a ok!

This property was exactly as advertised and perfect for what I needed over my weekend stay. The location is really pretty, walkable distance (or a one minute drive) to food or activities in the little town of Naramata, and a breath of fresh air. The room is super clean & nice to relax in, the deck is cozy and quiet, and the kitchenette and morning provisions are a great touch! The host also delivered some freshly picked (and delicious) raspberries to my door. ❤️ I had a great stay and would return!

We enjoyed our stay! Walked to a few wineries, everything we needed was in a few close distance.

Very friendly host, the suite had everything we needed, a pretty view, just like in the photo. Kitchen was nicely stocked with breakfast items.

Small, cosy, immaculate with a beautiful view of the valley from a large comfortable veranda. The bed was very comfortable. There is no kitchen per se, however a bar fridge and French press coffee make it ideal for a short term stay. Great location in the hills, offering privacy. Terrific hosts!

My wife and I throughly enjoyed our stay. The place was bright clean and quiet . The bed was comfortable. Breakfast food in the fridge made for great mornings eating out on the deck catching the early morning sun. Laurel is great hostess as well as an artist, her beautiful work of pottery and paint is evident throughout the place. The location was perfect for cycling the area. Road riding is awesome and the access to Kettle valley is a nice climb up from Laurel’s place. It was a great stay and we’ll be back. Mike

Lauren’s home is situated in the beautiful village of Naramata, on a quiet road. While it feels like a million miles from anywhere, it is actually very close to the centre of town and Naramata’s amenities. It is a short drive to The Naramata Bench and dozens of wineries and orchards. The space is very clean, comfortable and inviting. I had a great holiday.

The Veranda Suite has a lovely deck with comfortable seating to enjoy your food and drinks on. The bedroom is spacious. Nestled among the wineries along the Naramata Bench and close the lake for a quick dip to cool off.

Enjoyed the boutique efficiency. The scenery, setting and amenities were all clean and comfortable. Very nice that there was small assortment of breakfast items and coffee for our use in the mornings.

We were in Naramata for a wedding and this could not of been a more convenient place for us to stay; within minutes of the actual village so that we could be with other guests for the event but when it was over, we were away in the quiet for the rest of our time. Easy directions, perfectly appointed kitchen/staples, beautiful setting, we would definitely stay here again!

The suite was very comfortable and we were grateful for the AC and the snacks in the fridge upon arrival! Perfect for 2 people touring the Naramata Bench.

Laurel was an incredible host! Everything from the little welcome sign with my name on it, to the fully loaded fridge and the beautifully set up VRBO space! Great location to be able to walk to all the local wineries as well downtown Naramata 🤗

Beautiful house and great central location with walking distance to some wineries and Naramata village. Really enjoyed our stay and warm welcome from our hosts. Laurel was so helpful and spoiled us with her garden produce and anything else we asked for! Loved everything and will be back for sure!

We stayed at GaLa View with our two teenage children. The home was perfect to spend time in the living room, kitchen and back yard as a family, but spacious enough to allow the boys to have their much wanted time away from the parents as well. It truly felt like a home away from home, but in beautiful Naramata.

We were two families of four staying at the GaLa Holiday home and we had a great time. Laurel was great about answering all of our questions and check in was easy. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed having lots of space to spread out. We all really enjoyed the use of both the front deck and back deck. The beach was a quick bike ride down the hill but the walk would have been a bit long. All in all, a great family vacation!

This is a fab spot to stay for a getaway in Naramata. It’s a very clean, homey place with lots of space and good comfy beds. Kitchen and utensils are a little outdated but sufficient. Beautiful art throughout. The decks and views and location in Naramata make this a real gem. We will be back. Laurel is very friendly and accommodating.

We had wonderful time in Naramata. House is big and comfortable with two beautiful patios. Its located close to Therapy and Serendipity wineries, and you can walk or drive to the village and beaches. House was clean and our host always helpful! Thank you for having us!

We were two couples and had a wonderful stay. The property was much larger than we expected, with lots of room for the 4 of us, and was so comfortable and homey feeling The fully equipped and stocked kitchen made it easy for us to make meals, and we had the choice of patio or deck to eat outside (and fresh raspberries and herbs from the garden to enjoy!). Appreciated the central air conditioning during the hot weather. Easy walk in to town or beach, and we biked most mornings on the KVR. The owners were so attentive and thoughtful - thank you for a wonderful stay Laurel and Gary!

Thank you for the wonderful time at your place. We enjoyed the backyard, and the front patio. The kitchen has everything we need.

Overall experience was quite good. The space outside was awesome and the decks were where we spent most of our time when we weren’t checking out the local establishments. The location is great for beach and vineyard access. The host was very responsive and extremely helpful when we came upon some issues. My only critique would be that the rental could use a little more attention to detail in terms of being cleaned prior to arrival.

Loved our stay at GaLa - Gary and Laurel are amazing hosts and their home is a perfect getaway from the city life in Vancouver. Delighted and surprised to see a wonderful gift basket in the fridge with wine, cheese, fruit, chips, milk, youghourt, etc. etc. - so very thoughtful. Location is perfect - walking distance to town - a nice 10 minute walk and the beach at Manitou Park is also only 10 mins. A million thanks to them both for sharing their lovely home with us. Super convenient location in Naramata! 4 or 5 vineyards within walking distance, and 10 minute walk to town/lake. Very quiet and peaceful in the evenings from the sundeck. Will stay again in future trips to Naramata.

We were very pleased overall with our rental of Gala View Holiday Home in Naramata! The house was bright and clean and the amenities were plentiful. Loved the little added extra touches for our arrival, from the sign outside the door welcoming our family to the fresh-baked muffins in the kitchen. There had been a tiny concern prior to our arrival when we found out the week before that the home is actually shared with the owners’ daughter who lives in the basement suite. We were not aware of this when we booked in November of 2018 as it wasn’t mentioned in the description of the rental so we were a bit surprised to learn this just before our trip. To be honest, it probably would’ve influenced our decision to rent the house but as it turned out, we needn’t have worried. Though the owners were there when we arrived and stayed the night in the motor home parked in the driveway and their daughter lives in the home, it didn’t really end up affecting our family’s holiday. Laurel and Gary assured us before our arrival that the basement had been soundproofed and we wouldn’t have to worry about making too much noise or anything which is what we were looking for in a rental property (especially since teenagers are not the quietest people on the planet... LOL!) All in all, the location was perfect for us, the home is lovely and we had a wonderful and relaxing holiday! Thank you, Laurel and Gary, for everything! (One tiny little note... the Wifi is a little spotty and tends to drop off quite often while using so make sure to have a little extra data just in case.)

Lovely and relaxing stay at this quiet yet very convenient Naramata gem. Cozy, well thought out home within walking distance to three excellent wineries. Very warm and friendly hosts who are very helpful making great recommendations. We stayed five nights for a ladies weekend and were very comfortable and relaxed in this home. Wonderful tub for soaking in the master bedroom too!
