The property was just as described/shown online. Clean, light and airy, it had a great beach cottage feel and a nice little front yard area with covered and uncovered seating. Kitchen was well equipped with modern appliances and plenty of utensils, serving ware and cutlery. Each bathroom had complimentary travel size shampoo, conditioner, soap and body lotion. Lots of goodies were provided including bath and beach towels, dish soap and sponge, laudry soap, hand soap and even laundry detergent and dryer sheets. Ceiling fans in every room. Bluewater even provided a lovely goodie bag for us upon arrival. The location was perfect, steps to either Mission Bay or Mission Beach as well as a couple of small markets and some take out eateries close by. Try a short walk to Lazy Eye Coffee in the morning. Yummy lattes, pastries and breakfast burritos!

very nice place. perfect size for my family of 6. easy walk to both the ocean beach and the bay beach. easy walk to Belmont. a lot of restaurants within walking distance. you WILL notice the constant jets talking off from the airport. can be loud but you learn to ignore it pretty quickly. stops at 11:30pm until 6:30. the nearby convenience stores are crazy overpriced, one might want to get any needed grocery at a Vons or Target or something not in Mission Beach. Overall very happy and would totally recommend this to a mid-size family or a couple of small families.

Located steps away from the beach and bay. Enjoyed Sea World fireworks in the evening, perfect view from the bay. Highly recommend bringing your bikes or renting them really affordable. Rode all around the beach and bay. The patio became our primary living space!

We had a nice trip to San Diego. The home provided by Bluewater was fully stocked and clean. The management was responsive to our requests. We would stay here again.

We loved the house, property, location. Location was great! One block from the bay on one side and one block from the ocean on the other side. The bay had multiple parks for the kids to play that we could just walk to. We didn't have to move our vehicle once the entire time of our stay which was 5 days. Actually we did leave once to visit the seals in La Jolla. We cooked everyday. Kitchen is more then fully stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. We didn't have a single issue with the house or neighbors. All the neighbors were pleasant. We rode our scooters and bikes everyday. The water pressure and temperature was really good. Beds were very comfortable. Outside patios have so much space and seating. We will definately stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at South Mission Beach. The house was clean and well-appointed with a great beachy vibe. The back patio off the pedestrian alley was our favorite place to hang out and we loved the very close walking distance to the beach, bay, Mission Market and restaurants. It was a great spot for a fun family vacation.

The house was perfectly situated near the beach and walkable to many fun sites. Pictures on the website accurately reflect the property. We were briefly 11 in all and there was plenty of space for everyone including the 4 teens. The house has everything you would need in the kitchen. Highly recommend this property with one side note. It is near the airport. We should have made the connection of the air traffic noise but it was something we came to accept and just worked around.

Nicely furnished property really close to the beach!

We stayed with two families in 3 of the rooms. There are 4 rooms, and two of them have the queen size and bunk beds. We had been slightly confused when we initially booked it. The location is amazing for the price, just a block to the beach. There are several restaurants within walking distance, we went to SCK and Cannonball and both were good. The beds are interesting. My family member mentioned theirs (upstairs) being quite lumpy. My bed was very creaky. The biggest cleanliness issue was there was mold behind the water area of the fridge. When the property managers contacted us we let them know. They offered to send someone out but we declined since we wouldn't use it after its initial state. Overall still a wonderful property and would recommend booking it. Check in was smooth.

We stayed here with 6 adults and 4 kids ages ranging 1 year old to 60 years old and it was great for everyone. Couple steps to the beach which the kids loved and the nice gated/closed in patio was great for the little ones. Sand toys were also available for us to use. You do need to buy more toilet paper if you have a bigger group, there are also no tea towels to dry dishes in the kitchen only paper towel so next time we would probably use paper plates/cups/utensils but there is a dishwasher and another plus was washer and dryer. Walking distance to food, market and Belmont park. We would recommend this house and would return!

What a great location for families!! Right between the Bay and the Beach. Very comfortable home that felt like a home. We together for a celebration of life and the patio was a very lovely place for us to gather. The teens loved being able to throw on rollerblades and go to Belmont park and just had a great time. The younger boys loved the bay for soccer on the sand. Will definitely recommend the home to others.

We loved everything about our Stay! We played at the beach and the bay and loved the parks and shops nearby. The main living space of the house was comfy and perfect for meals together and the beds were comfy!

This is in a great spot for us. A bit away from the hustle of Pacific Beach but close enough to get to the things we like to do. Nice patio with plenty of room. We would stay again.

It was a perfect house for a Family Thanksgiving Vacation

Perfect for family vacation. Great location. Parking was alittle tight for 2 mini vans but was doable.

The property was as described. Clean and comfortable. Perfect for our group of 11. There was a problem with some appliances during our stay. Communication was easy and prompt and we were fairly compensated for the inconvenience. We will definitely consider this property again.

4 bedroom house in great location. Have to like living outdoors because the big living space with table/chairs is the big, front patio area. Of course, houses are super close together on Mission Beach but most neighbors quiet down by 10pm. The Bluewater Vacation Rental agency is very easy to work with and wants renters to be happy. We also had a lot of fun driving around in the golf cart we rented from Wayne at Sunride Golf Cart Rentals 858-880-6333. Walking to/around the bay was great exercize for the mornings. Walking in the other direction to the ocean to surf or watch the sun set was awesome. Great parks for our granddaughter too. Overall, we had a relaxing and fun-filled vacation.

The wedding was in La Jolla on the beach, we loved this location. The beach on one side, the bay on the other. There was close by places to eat and have drinks. Good family house.

Our family had a great end-of-summer mini vacation in Mission Bay. We loved the house, it was perfect for all of us. Comfortably close to the beach, and close enough to go to the city for other entertainments like, restaurants or shopping.

Great property in one of the better neighborhoods. Across the street from the beach and 5min walk to all amenities. Price was pretty good considering it was New Years week.

This property is conveniently located in South Mission Beach and exactly as pictured and described. We had two families with a total of 4 adults and 5 small children. The family room that opens to the patio area is great for extra space and lots of time outdoors. The house is older but updated and very clean and walking distance to beach and bay! Highly recommend!

Das Ferienhaus zwischen Mission Beach und Lagune haben wir sehr genossen. Es liegt sehr zentral zu den Stränden in einem angenehmen Umfeld von individuellen Ferienhäuschen und eher jüngeren Leuten.

The place was clean and with the outside area we had a good amount of room The jets fly right overhead - noisy and you had to stop talking when the flew overhead. The do stop flying from 11pm to 6 am But surprisingly we got used to it.

The property itself is amazing - we had eight adults in our party and we never felt cramped. The outdoor patio was especially nice for relaxing as a group. The location is great, we were a short walk away from some amazing beach sunsets and the market and coffee shop just up the road were so convenient. We had a small issue with the door locks, but the rental company was super courteous and quick to take care of it. My only complaint about the property was the parking situation - I wish the property's description had been more honest about it. We had two standard sedan rentals, and parking was a huge pain. I don't know how anyone could fit two compact vehicles to the side of the storage unit, particularly since a power line blocks part of the space. The space for parking in front of the storage unit is just as ridiculous. The neighbors are very adamant and not at all pleasant about keeping your cars clear of their parking space on the other side of the storage unit. In order to accomplish this, we had to park our cars in a specific order - first next to the storage unit, then in front of the storage unit (in order to clear the neighbor's spot we wound up blocking in the first car). It easily took us 15 minutes to park. Net, I would definitely stay there again, but only if we could get away with using one car.
