What a gorgous and spacious home in a very wooded area with trails and tons of deer and other animals. Beautiful grounds, wonderful location in a very quiet setting noy far from town. Loved it all! The hot tub was a great bonus, in the enclosed back porch keeping any bugs out. The fire pit and the BBQ area was wonderful as well. Every thing was fantastic,and all staff very friendly and inviting. Great relaxing stay. Will be back again!

We had a wonderful weekend with our family at the Spotted Fawn cabin. It was a very relaxing and peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed.

Our group of three families with small kids had so much fun this weekend. We went fishing, swam in the lake, used the paddle boats, played on the playground, made s’mores, and enjoyed lots of front porch and back porch sitting. This cabin had everything we needed to accommodate adults and kids and the kitchen was full equipped. We will be back - we have already started looking at future dates because we loved it so much!

This is a comfortable cabin in a very nice location. It has plenty of nice amenities to enjoy, and lots of things to do nearby. The only downer is that the internet access is pitifully slow.

Absolutely wonderful! We had an amazing stay. You can stay in and relax or explore many of the area attractions. This rental has everything you need for a wonderful vacation.

It was an amazing experience. I usually rent cabins every year and this is the best one, with no doubt. They really think about everything and the house is beautiful with everything you’d ever need. And the Christmas decoration was super cute!

The cabin is beautiful and we enjoyed our family time there. Our 3 year old Grandson loved the playground and little house. The entire stay was great. Cabin was clean, had everything we needed. Highly recommend Spotted Fawn. You will not be disappointed.

Very nice property and location. Visited Shenandoah Park, Luray Caverans and spend time at the cabin relaxing. The kids enjoyed the play ground , play house, pond and walking the short trails. We were comfortable letting them explore the area. There are a couple other cabins in the area but none real close and all looked well kept. We had a few minor issues and they were resolved quickly. I would recommend the area and cabins.

Really cute surprises around every corner-- play house for the kids, croquet, hot tub and even paddle boats! Not too far to drive to Shenandoah Park entrances and tubing available nearby. Really great house!

Very comfortable and well-appointed home. We lost power one evening during a storm...the property manager kept us abreast of the situation (a transformer went down). It only lasted an hour, but in the meantime, she brought over lanterns so we could continue playing board games on the screened porch! If planning to hike SNP, the closest entrance to the park is about a half hour away. Kayak excursions are six minutes away. Thoroughly enjoyed the cabin!!

Beautiful home in a nice area We did have a problem with the hot tub having issues but communication with the property manager was fantastic and someone was sent out promptly to help resolve that. While the home does sit by itself you do get some traffic on the gravel road in front of the house which does tend to be on the louder side especially with some ongoing work being done in the area there. Everyone we encountered working there were super friendly and kind. Great place to bring your dog as there’s plenty of walking areas for them. Just be sure to be up to date with tick prevention as we’d occasionally have them on us and our dog after a walk in the area. If you’re looking for a great place to unwind and relax I’d highly recommend Spotted Fawn Cabin!

House was clean and neighborhood was quiet. We loved seeing the deer. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful cabin with lots of space and plenty of beds. We had a group of 7 adult men and we probably could have had a few more. Great kitchen area and living room but the hot tub and the backyard with the chimney were the highlights. In a group of other cabins but mostly you feel you are in the middle of nowhere (there was some distant noise from the nearby speedway one night but it wasn’t bad). Great place to get away and relax.

Beautiful home with everything you would need. We took day trips to Luray caverns, New Market, Harrisonburg, Charlottesville, and Swift Run entrance to Shenandoah NP. Also drove to Washington DC which is only 2 hours away. Great location to access all those places. The home is in the woods so you don’t have Mountain Views but the property is very nice. We loved coming home from a day of hiking to soak in the hot tub. Highly recommend this vacation home.

This is a fantastic cabin. It's perfect for a group of people hanging out, cooking, and socializing. This was the 2nd time we stayed here and we're likely to book this again.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Spotted Fawn. The cabin was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. It was great to get out of our cramped home in the DC area and into this cabin in the woods. Our toddler loved the new playground and playhouse as well as visiting the dinosaurs. The location is great, nestled in not far from Luray, VA and Skyline Drive. Will definitely be making a future reservation!

Relaxing and quiet

We enjoyed excellent hiking in the region and then coming back to this big house for home cooked meals and a soak in the hot tub! Note to renters, while the house was supplied with plenty of paper towels and TP, bring your own tissues and napkins.

My husband and I rented the cabin for a big weekend for our family. We enjoyed our 29th wedding anniversary, Mother’s Day, JMU semifinal football game and our son’s graduation from JMU. The cabin met and exceeded all of our needs. The only issue my husband and I had while at the cabin was our lack of knowledge using a television with DirectTV. How could we watch the Dukes play with tv?! Once we got things figured out, we were set for our exciting and eventful weekend.
