This was a great spot to extend our spring stay in the area. Comfortable beds a very unique reclining sofa.

Monica was a stellar host and amazing at communicating before and after our stay. She made sure we were situated and ensured we had everything we needed. The location of this property is great for families and the access to the private beach was a highlight! Definitely keeping this tagged in my favorites for when we come back to Parksville in the future!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. The home is clean, modern and quiet, with a very well equipped kitchen and BBQ, and a great air conditioning unit that was particularly appreciated given our summer stay. The property is a short walk from the beach, and we preferred the location to being closer to beachside in the area because it is more quiet, while being accessible to the waterfront. Our host communicated kindly, professionally, and was very responsive to questions, attending to some specific questions/accommodations relating to arrival and departure given the fact that I was traveling with older parents. We very much enjoyed our stay, and would recommend this property.

My husband had a peaceful stay at this super clean and well equipped townhome. Tanglewood is a terrific resort to stay at, with easy access to the beach and Rathtrevor park. Owners were great to communicate with.

Excellent location close to a wonderful park and beach area. Great spot as a home base to explore. Resort like feel close to some great ice cream at the general store. Condo is built in a beautiful forest, very quiet and peaceful. Did day trip to Tofino, Ucluelet and outings to all the beautiful and quaint towns up the Coast Qualicum Beach, up to Courtenay and Comox. Really happy with accomodations at the condo and the well thought out supplies that were provided. Would visit again!

We had a wonderful stay at Tides Reach! It is a really great cabin and located perfectly for touring Vancouver Island. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed our time there. It was great to be able to walk down to the beach for sunrise and sunset. we will definitely be coming back!

We had a great stay at this townhome! It was a birthday trip for 4 friends and the location was nice and quiet which is just want we wanted. The home had everything we needed and we were able to quickly get to the grotto at Tighnamara and to the beach which was what our weekend consisted of. It was also stocked with things you may need like salt and pepper, great coffee, and corkscrew etc etc. The oven wasn’t working which the owners were quick to inform us of a day or so beforehand as they had obviously just found out and so didn’t have time to have someone out before our stay to fix it, but we ended up eating out the entire time anyways so it was ok. Lots of extra sheets and bedding which was great. The beds are queen beds so a little small if you’re coming just with friends. A pullout would have been great (it looks like from the photos as well as the welcome book that there USED to be a pullout but there isn’t one any longer) however the actual write up on VRBO did not promise a pullout so we weren’t expecting one. it’s just something that would have been nice so we could stretch out a bit more. Regardless we would absolutely recommend and stay again!

We really enjoyed our short stay at Huw and Emma’s place! A short walk to the beach with a handy wagon and foldable chairs to set up on the beach. Had fun watching the little crabs in the tide pools and finding sand dollars as the tide went out. Great getaway from the city!

We had a wonderful two week stay at Tide’s Reach Cabin. The cabin is clean, comfortable, stocked with necessities and a short walk to the beach. The four of us enjoyed our time and looking forward to be back next summer. Thank you, Huw and Emma.

We stayed for a four day weekend and enjoyed every moment. The high ceilings and open concept made the cottage feel much larger than it probably was. More than enough room for the two of us and a very convenient floor plan. The property is in a very quiet setting and is easy to access. It was well appointed; basically bring your food and clothes. A short walk down to an expansive beach and steps away from Riptide Lagoon Adventure Golf. We would not hesitate staying at a Tanglewood property in the future. We had a great stay at Tide's reach cabin. It was a good central location for leisurely cycling along the back roads to Nanoose Bay, in Rathtrevor Park & neighbourhood and along the off road trail to Coombes. The cabin was clean, comfortable and well equipped. It was also quiet and private which was a nice bonus given the location within the resort zone of Parksville. We would be happy to recommend it to our friends and family of all ages.

This is probably our 3rd time here. We absolutely love the place and the setting....the back yard backs on to Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park....just minutes walking from their place is the ocean. The place is well laid out too, with everything you need for an enjoyable stay.

It’s was everything and more than we all expected. Very cozy, kitchen was amazing and can’t beet the location, the beach just down the road was breathtaking. Was trying to book the location for the end of January 2022 but was not available.

We had a great stay! We loved the access to the beach - great walks and beach combing. Also within walking distance (or short bike ride) to other Parksville Resorts (Tigh Na Mara, Oceanside, etc.) to access restaurants and other services. Our only issue was that it was very hot in the unit and there was only 1 fan available for our use, which made for a few nights of uncomfortable sleeping.

We loved staying at Tanglewood! It's a reasonable walk down to the beach, and the townhouse is clean and well stocked. We were very comfortable there and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We love staying at Tide’s Reach. We stayed there for the month of April, 2019 and have now spent the month of October, 2020. The owners are very accommodating; the location is outstanding. We have nothing negative to say about this property and wish we could stay longer. Therefore, we have already booked one month in 2021!

The property accommodation and location to the ocean was awesome...our dining room and living windows looked right out onto Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park.....very quiet and peaceful.
