Condo have new floors and paint. This is the best condo I have ever stayed in. This was my third year staying in this condo and hope to be back next year!

First impression was awesome for this unit. Everything was up to date and accommodating. The 3rd full bathroom was a big plus that came in handy for our family of four. Location was perfect, right in the beach and elevator was always Ava could be from top floor to beach chairs in less then 5 minutes. We loved our stay here.

Check in and out was super simple and communication with owner was good. Location and views were great!

This unit was very clean and good size! We had a group of 6: my parents, me and my husband, and our two kids (ages 5 and 1). The unit was perfect size for us. We had a Pack N Play in the master bedroom with us for our 1yo, the 2nd bedroom for my parents and instead of the couch bed we built a little sheet fort for my 5yo to sleep on her sleeping bag behind the love seat in the living room so she had her own space. It’s was great! The biggest pro of this building was its proximity to the beach. I’ve stayed in so many beach front condos that it felt like the trek from the unit, to the elevator, to the ground floor, through the pool, down the walkway, to the beach felt like a major trek. This was not so. The elevators were so quick and the distance from the lobby to the beach was easily half of other places I’ve stayed. Which is a major upside when lugging small children and all their gear in the heat! The only thing we thought could use improvement was the beds, they were a touch firm. Nothing you can’t live with but firmer than I think most people would love. But everyone has different tastes and for a week it wasn’t too bad. The pool at this building was nice and clean! And the security lady at the building was so friendly and helpful. Overall a very friendly and nice environment.

This condo was perfect for our family! The view from the condo was breathtaking! Jason called early in the trip to make sure everything was right for us. We would recommend this condo to anyone 😊

Property is a very nice and spacious unit. The location is excellent. Steps away from the beach and a short drive to local sites. Plenty of amenities to make your stay comfortable. It’s very good with potential to be great of a few things are addressed. First, the king bed mattress in the main bedroom is horrible. Quite frankly the worst mattress I’ve slept on in quite a long time. This needs to be addressed immediately for the price that is asked. Secondly, the floor was not very clean when we arrived. I understand the difficulties with the sand but this seemed more like lack of attention. Lastly, we had on and off problems with the elevator in the building. One evening we were forced to walk up to the 9th floor. Thankfully, there was a number in the lobby to call and they had it fixed by the next morning.m Communication with the host was good. They were responsive when I sent messages, although it seemed like I was getting info and calls from different people. None of these were from Melanie who is listed as the host. Lastly, we did learn that we would have to pay $30 for a weeklong parking pass while we were there. I feel as though we should have known this upfront. Overall, it was a good property that I would stay in again IF and only IF they replace that mattress. KC

Ninth floor (top floor) view from the gulf side was great. Even though it was the top floor it was still a covered balcony that allowed us a break from the sun while still enjoying the sights of the beach. The elevator was the fastest we have experienced in our many condo rentals and it never caused a delay in getting to the ground floor or to the top floor unit. Jason was very responsive in making minor issues right. The third bathroom would be ideal for guests using the sofa bed.

It was a great trip to gulf shores Alabama. The views from the balcony were amazing … we were able to see dolphins from the balcony. It was very comfortable and cozy. The sink in the master was extremely slow to drain… actually didn’t even use that sink to brush my teeth. Some of the toilet paper rolls to start were half rolls. One of the smaller plates I put in the microwave and it broke In half I’m sorry about that. All in all it was a Nice place to stay. Thank you.

Condo is very cozy, comfortable & clean. Nice having 3 bathrooms. Balcony on front & back. Back balcony overlooks the beach/ocean. Direct beach access no crossing streets! Grocery - shopping close by. Love to come back!

The aquatic life was awesome to watch. The condo was very clean and met all of our needs. Might need a little plumbing main shower. Does not drain well

The check in was super easy. Owner emailed the keypad number so we only had to get our parking pass and enjoy our time. Highly recommend!!

This property was gorgeous! Top floor, corner unit, the building was never crowded and was always very peaceful! Plenty of space for a family of 4 to spread out! Beautiful view of the beach, easy access to everything! The owners were in constant touch with us making sure we had everything we needed! We will definitely be back to this unit, looking forward to next year!

The condo was very clean , it had an awesome view , the owners were great to work with , the only issue we had was the beach patrol would not let you put up a canopy

Overall the unit was nice. The tile floor does have a lot of pitting. The unit does have 3 full bathrooms as listed, one off each bedroom and one up front, and is more spacious being on the corner of the building than other condos where you are in the center of the building. Just a few facts: the balcony out the back bedroom goes around the back of the building but does not connect to the front balcony. There is an additional $25 per vehicle parking charge you pay the security guard on arrival. And the small circle pools outside both Surfside I and II were hot tubs at one time but no longer have heating or jets and are called "kiddie pools" now. Also parts of the exterior on both Surfsides were being blasted to be repainted during our week. Great they are doing needed maintenance, but I would check with owner before renting to see what section is being blasted or painted as it would make the balconies unusable if the work is nearby. Unfortunately (not the owner's fault) scratchy seaweed is a huge problem for the whole shoreline and we will not be returning.

The property is in a great location that is close to restaurants and shops. The condo needs some renovation on the kitchen cabinets and the floors throughout. Some of the cabinets in the kitchen were hanging crooked and it look like they had been painted with latex paint that had pilled off in places. The appliances looked new however while the dishwasher looked new the area around it looked dirty with the tiles under it cracked. The baseboards around the kitchen and throughout looked dirty due to being old and worn. The walls were all scuffed up with drywall missing in places. The carpet in the bedrooms felt gritty as did the furniture in the living room. We were disappointed in the condition of the condo however even though it looked old and beat up it was clean. The countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms looked new and the bathroom in the master had been redone and was also very nice. It looks as if the owners are beginning to renovate a little at a time. The view and balcony made the condo worth it. Would recommend the location and the view but would advise asking about further renovations being done.

Wow! Such a great location! Jason was great- checked in and updated us all the time! Loved how this building was NOT over crowded! Beach was not either! So many people we met have stayed at this complex multiple times!! We def will be back when we come back to Gulf Shores!!! Everything we needed! Oh- and the view!!!!

We had a wonderful experience at this property. It has a large living area, 3, yes 3 bathrooms, a beautiful balcony facing the Gulf and another smaller one off the master suite facing the lagoon. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals and spend a quality family time together. There was plenty of parking, the elevators always worked and all of the staff we met were very friendly and curtious. We would highly recommend this property and hope to be back to spend more time here. Remember to take your binoculars, we saw dolphins, sharks and lots of aquatic life from the balcony.

This place was amazing! Top floor with amazing views. This place has all the kitchen amenities you need for your stay. The owners were great to work with and stayed in contact the entire stay. Would highly recommend.

The whole renting process was very easy. The owner contacted us to make sure everything was to our liking and we had all we needed. We will rent from them again.

We enjoyed our beach week despite the poor condition of the condo. Pros - Location right on the beach. Nice pool. Cons - Disrepair, 6 foot crack in floor tile in the kitchen and 10 foot crack in den, plus the tile is chipped in both rooms. Balcony door off master bedroom - door frame detached from door laying against the balcony railing. 2 kitchen cabinet doors are loose and sagging. All kitchen cabinets have paint worn off under the cabinet door handle. Master bedroom door sagging and cracked along the door jam. Toilet paper holders in 2 bathrooms loose and when you install the toilet paper roll the holder rotates and the toilet paper roll falls off. Couches stained and nasty. Water stands 2 inches deep in 2 of the showers while the water is running - very nasty. I lifted the blinds in the master bedroom and the window seal was streaked black from lack of being cleaned. Bedding old and uncomfortable. Lastly - At some point during the day the elevators didn't work on 3 out of 6 days, requiring us to walk up to the 9th floor. Would not rent here again.

This condo was perfect for our long weekend get-a-way. The views are spectacular. It was well equipped. Security was great and the staff was friendly. We will be back for a return stay!!
