The cabin was well stocked, comfortable and the location was great. Nice spot for a relaxing get away.

While the house is small, it never felt cramped with 4 of us. It has been nicely designed, looks clean and modern, with a great shower. And, even though it snowed continuously for 2 days, the walkway was cleared of snow daily, or more.

Great little place with a central location for hanging out in Truckee and leaving the car parked for your visit. Will visit again.

My partner and I stayed in this cabin for a writing retreat weekend, and brought our dog with us. The place is perfect for a cozy and comfortable stay in Truckee. It is right next to some open space by the river, and is also a ~5 minute walk to downtown. All of us really enjoyed our stay and will almost certainly be back!

The property had everything I wanted, great location, super furnishing, and very responsive owner. Mitch did everything to make my stay enjoyable. I highly recommend the cottage and would definitely stay here again.

We had an Amazingly Wonderful stay at this cabin. It is super nice and very private. Fantastic backyard that has a really nice gas bonfire pit and looks out on the forest surrounded by gorgeous Aspen trees. We will make this one of our regular destinations in the future. Very nice cabin near town with nice amenities

We loved our stay at this property!! My husband and our two friends were in Tahoe for a wedding, so the four of us rented this house. We have visited Truckee countless times, but this was our first stay at this river cabin. We loved the quietness of the dead-end street and the proximity to downtown Truckee... everything within a 5-10 minute walk! We walked down to the river from the cabin -- the location is perfect. The amenities are modern and the decor is perfect for a ski/lake cabin. The hot water heater is very loud and both the bed and the pull-out couch weren't the MOST comfortable, but neither of these factors affected how much we enjoyed staying here! Highly recommend, and would absolutely rent again!!

We really enjoyed this sweet, immaculate and quiet cabin in the perfect location. I also enjoyed the trains passing by all hours of the day and night. Both the cabin and the town of Truckee itself are quite charming. We walked to great coffee, meals and shops. We also spent time paddle boarding on Donner Lake, renting and riding E-bikes on the Truckee River trail and even dipped into the river across the street from the cabin down at the bridge. We will definitely be booking here again in the future!

The pictures do not do it justice. It appears recently renovated and it was super clean. The kitchen and paper goods were exceptionally well stocked. The grill and back yard are fantastic. It is an easy walk to downtown. We loved staying here.

The cabin is well decorated, very comfortable and well stocked with pots & pans. We cooked breakfast and dinner several days and all worked perfectly. Also very close to many shops and restaurants that we visited. Within walking distance to the main drag of Truckee and very close to the beautiful river.

Our family enjoyed our stay very much, this cozy cabin is very well maintained and clean. It’s location is convenient right next to Truckee downtown. The bed and couch bed were both very comfortable to sleep in. We have been to many cabins in the past years, this one is definitely our favorite one. We will be back for sure!

We have stayed here multiple times. Cute, cozy, comfy house in a perfect location in Truckee, walkable to restaurants and shops. Very close to Northstar, Pallisades and Alpine! Dog friendly. Kitchen is great for cooking. Mitch is easy to communicate with. Love it!

We enjoyed our stay so very much! Mitch was very responsive and so very helpful! The cabin was comfortable and well stocked! I didn’t want to ever leave! Close to shops and easy to walk to restaurants but on a street that feels like you are away from all of the hustle and bustle of the town! We will be back!

The cabin is well laid out for a small space to so nicely accommodate 3 adults and a dog. We were snow bound for 2 days and quite comfortable. It's easy walking distance to downtown truckee and the neighbors were very nice.

Mitch’s cabin is our “go to” cabin when we visit our daughter who lives in Truckee. The cabin is located walking distance to the historic downtown’s shopping and restaurants. The cabin is well supplied, super clean and perfectly cozy. Great kitchen, living area has a gas fireplace that warms the cabin efficiently. We love staying here and you will too!

The title says it all. The cabin is perfect for couples looking to escape for a weekend in the woods. We cooked our Thanksgiving dinner there, and the kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed. The cabin itself was clean and comfortable, with plenty of heat and picturesque accommodations and surrounding. Walkable to town, which was perfect for us city folks. A+ and highly recommended!

Perfect set up for a small family and a dog. Comfortable house that’s clean and updated. Can’t beat the location with plenty of hiking opportunities from the residence and a short walk around the corner brings you right to downtown. The neighbors on the block are friendly and Mitch called to check in after the whole town had a power outage. Definitely will stay again.

This property was everything we were looking for in getaway that included our well behaved pooch.The location is perfect with so much within walking distance.It is the perfect size for 2 + pup. Everything is new and the kitchen is small, but well equipped with everything you could need. Great appliances and good use of space.

We rented this cabin after being evacuated from our home due to the Caldor Fire. We originally booked for 2 weeks but we were allowed to repopulate our home after a week in Truckee. The owner Mitch was very flexible with our dates and even was able to refund us since we we headed home earlier than expected. He was great to do business with.As far as the cabin goes, it was amazing! Great location, super cozy and very clean. Walkable to downtown Truckee and all its shopping and dining. Close drive to skiing and other outdoor activities. I would definitely recommend this place to others. We are thinking we are going to stay there again for a long weekend just to get away.
