We had a wonderful stay at ocean front walk. The town home had everything we needed and the view cant be beat. We enjoyed walking to nearby Pacific beach to restaurants. We would love to stay again.

Had a wonderful time-- clean house, great location, close to Belmont Park. Only concern would be to keep the windows locked at night. Neighbor in unit 1 was broken into while they were asleep.

Impossible to have better views of the ocean, beach and boardwalk from your raised patio. 2nd time we have rented here for a 4 week period. Jay and his assistant Zane are friendly and helpful. Always on the go to keep the complex clean, neat and tidy. Lovely landscaping as well along the boardwalk that has people stopping as they walk to take photos and admire the flora. The unit itself is pretty good with 3 full bathrooms and 2 bedrooms that sleep 6. The unit is well laid out but it is in need of a freshening up or at minimum a fresh paint job. Surfstyle staff were very attentive to any issue that needed addressing. On location alone, we would stay here again.

My wife and I stayed at this Residence Club 4 unit over the winter to visit our daughter. It was perfect for us to stay. The views were even better in person, the weather was so much warmer than our home in Washington state, the sofa and master bed was very comfortable (we didn't use the other bedroom), and except for a wifi problem there were no other issues (the host was quick to resolve it). Overall a great 5 star stay.

First off, Surf Style Management is great! They responded quickly to my questions. Unfortunately, our flight was cancelled and we were unable to fly out of Minnesota for 3 days. This resulted in us losing 3 days in the condo as they do not allow date changes once booked. So make sure you pay the extra for insurance. Let’s just say, it’s wasn’t worth over $4000 for the 2 nights we got to stay there. The location is great. Right on the beach and boardwalk and walkable to many restaurants. The condo itself is in need of a good cleaning and paint job. It is very dirty and grungy. The bunks room upstairs is great for kids, but some of the electrical outlets are missing covers and not safe for children. It is also very hot up there, even though it was only 60 degrees outside. It could be a very nice unit, it just needs some TLC. I would use Surf Style again, but not this condo.

Everything was exactly as shown on the posting. Beautiful location, easy check in, good communication. There are no locks on any bedroom/bathroom doors which could be an issue with kids . . . but nice having the bun bed room upstairs and the master down. Lots of street noise in the master bedroom (window is facing alley and trashcans). Master bed was very comfortable. Some of the fixtures are a little dated, but everything in working order. Only real complaint was the cleaning. Upon arrival we found that the light switches had some "grime" along edges (light they needed to be switched back and forth while wiping down). Found a used coffee filter and grounds in the coffee maker. Then found trash shoved in pockets and drink holders of beach chairs, which were also covered in sand that went everywhere when we pulled them out from under stairs. Overall still a great place to stay. . . but for the price/cleaning fee, I expected it to be hotel quality clean.

The place was nice,in a good location, The garage door it never opened,we found out that there is a remote garage in one of the rooms,so we constantly had to bother that tenant to open the garage door for us. Other wise the place was pleasant.

Perfect location for our group of ladies 60+ in age. Just north of Belmont Park away from all the hustle and bustle from that area. Easy to walk to Belmont Park if you want to shop and enjoy the restaurants. Also, loved the local restaurants on Mission Blvd!! The property is clean and you can't beat the views from patio!! Would definitely stay here again!

Our family had a wonderful time staying here for the week and we couldn't of asked for a better location. The staff at Surf Style were great to work with and the accommodations were perfect. Great location for a family with little ones, in walking distance to everything; the sunset set views from our deck per priceless. Looking forward to returning and using Surf Style for our booking.

We had a great time in SD. The bunk beds were perfect for kids and tons of beach toys, chairs and water toys to use. Everything was clean and ready to go. The extra bathroom was nice too! We were under the impression that we had more than on balcony/patio based on the pictures but the 2nd and 3rd floor balcony's are for a different unit, which ended up being fine! We would definitely stay here again.

For the most part, the property is as depicted in the photos. However, it is in need of a refresh. Everything was provided and check-in and check-out were a breeze! The location was perfect for a family; not too close to Belmont Park but close enough to walk there. We have stayed on the boardwalk many times and this was the best place we have stayed. It was a bit pricey, but what do expect these days.

Easy peasy

We loved the location bc it was in between the busier areas (restaurants, beach access - meaning no restaurants on the boardwalk were right next door). That made it not as busy in front of the place but we were able to head either direction and get to restaurants fairly quickly if we wanted to be in busier areas. The location on the beach is wonderful. The interior and furnishings could use some updating but we didnt come to spend massive amounts of time inside. The kitchen had everything you would need. Ralphs grocery store is a mile north. Lots of great restaurants a mile or two north (there are some close by but they are pretty touristy). It has no AC but you can leave the doors open during the day and cool down with the ocean breeze. At night we weren't as comfortable leaving the doors/windows open bc of the homeless population but there are 2 large standing fans we used at night. We did have water heater problems the second half of our trip that took a couple of days to fix but the property management is very responsive. Overall we enjoyed our trip and would definitely stay in the area again (maybe even this place although I would be tempted to spend a little more next time - there are some beautiful rentals real close - just depends on your budget).

My wife & 3 kids all rate this Spring Break vacation 5 stars! Great amenities, restaurant suggestions, bonfire conierge, clean home, response management, & very friendly onsite staff.

We love the location, the cleanliness and the well stocked kitchen. Any minor problems we may have had over the years have been quickly resolved by management. Planning on staying there again next year.

Loved the location….morning coffee watching the surfers and dolphins….beautiful sunsets! But the unit wasn’t as spacious as the photos showed. Bathrooms weren’t that clean. Upstairs and master bathrooms toilets very sluggish…need 2 flushes. No hot water for the first 24 hrs. Showers need new fixtures to regulate on and off. Overall, kinda needs a facelift!

Location location location! This was beautiful and clean condo. We were here to visit our son at SDSU and see local friends. It was peaceful and quiet. I was able to do CME classes online for work. Be aware garbage day is on Tuesday and very loud early in the morning. San Diego had a thunderstorm Monday night and the power went out for a few hours. It was nice and cool with windows open. I would not recommend the fire guy. I found him on yelp and he was very expensive. Apparently he's not allowed to set up chairs before sunset. We paid a large fee and had to do most of the work ourselves. This condo is excellent for families. They had chairs umbrellas and beach toys included. We rented bikes and kept them locked up in the garage. October is the best time to visit and we hope to make it an annual tradition!

We had the most fabulous stay at this beach house. The property was clean. The property manager was quick to respond. The house provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and full days of family fun on the beach. The kids ages 3-7 were super excited to find the huge bin of sand toys, balls, boogie boards etc. They had more than enough things to keep them busy in the sand all day. Our family made many great memories here, and we look forward to returning in the future. Highly recommend.

My wife & I and 4 kids had a blast at this Residence Club townhouse. The views are to die for and it was just so easy to get to the beach, which was literally out our front door! We requested some extra supplied and the host quickly responded. Having 3 baths was also a big plus for us.

Let’s begin with the positive:Will I stay here again? Wish I could say YES without any horrifying and perhaps personal reservations.THE GOOD: Location is 9.7/10: Ocean view and less than 20 feet to the sand. It can be noisy. But I’m not picky and can excuse the fact that it’s summertime near the beach, noise is going to happen. THE BAD: It all started with some dirty sheets on the master bed. We were just getting ready for bed and I peeled down my side of the covers. I noticed a good amount of strange hairs between the sheets. Long hairs and short hairs were in the mix. I notified my wife, who was already in between the sheets on her side, that the sheets were dirty. She got out of bed and turned down her side of the sheets. Yep, her side was hairy too! We were exhausted and my wife cried, thinking it would ruin the whole trip. Okay, so we call the after hours number (10:00PM or so) to find a fix and they inform us that nothing could be done at this late hour. We even ask if there were replacement sheets or blankets stashed somewhere on the property. They said NO, but I searched all around anyway. We problem solved and I recommended that we just stay awake a little longer so that we could wash the sheets on our own. Seemed reasonable at the time so we removed the sheets from the bed. That’s when we discovered that the mattress- protector sheet/pad was soiled. It was unsightly, but again I thought we could just wash it too. That’s when the real horror began. We removed the mattress protector pad to wash it, that’s when we discovered that the mattress itself was badly soiled. I was horrified and thought I could just flip the mattress, but the other side of the mattress was even worse than the original topside. We abandoned the master bedroom for the night. My wife ended up sleeping on the pullout couch, using the blanket we found in the closet as a sheet. I slept on the remaining couch without blanket or sheets, since I cannot sleep on pullout couches without painful consequences. We both shivered throughout the night, but we survived. It was not the restful night we were looking forward to, but it is what it is.THE REMEDY:The next day, they purchased a new sheet pad and sheets and had housekeeping change them for us. Although we slept on clean sheets and new mattress pad, knowing that they were just covering the horrors that lurk below on the the mattress itself was enough to spoil and prevent a good night’s rest for the remaining nights.

This was our first time using a vrbo and it was an amazing experience. I was prepared to be a little disappointed but was extremely happy. The place was just what I was looking for at the beach. Perfect area right between the pier and Balboa Park equal walking distance to either. The only bad thing was the garbage cans were right outside our window and people go thru them at all hours.

Great property, right on the beachwalk. It's right there yet a little separated due to being elevated above the path so you don't feel like you are right at street level. Perfect for views of the beach and people watching! Location is great if you are looking for a quieter section of Mission Beach. Was walking distance to several restaurants and the grocery store is about a mile away. Property manager was very responsive. Place is in excellent condition. Wifi is excellent and worked well for zoom classrooms as my daughter was taking some college courses remotely. Master was roomy, bed was fine for us. The upstairs bedroom has 2 bunks which worked well for our teenagers. Didn't really hear the neighbors which is good. You do get parking place but it is tight so if you have a big SUV it will be a pain to park. Highly recommended, I would stay there again if going back to San Diego.
