Unseasonably cold weather meant we couldn't enjoy the outside as much as hoped. Being able to use the courtyard and pool features more would release the special feel to this house. Pool very pleasant, the courtyard charming and the citrus trees yield delicious fruit. Street noise a bit intrusive during truck hours but the location good relative to shops, restaurants and groceries. Beautiful view of the mountains. What fine sunsets. Living room comfortable. Whole place could stand a good dusting. Kitchen tight but worked ok for breakfast and pizza with our group of eight. Good cleaning here too would help. Cooking a big meal would be a challenge. Down the street is the Moorten Botanical Garden with its cactarium. We also enjoyed the Palm Springs Mod Squad architectural tour. What we learned made the rest of the week fun as we played "find the midcentury modern feature" in all the homes in the neighborhood.
