This is the second time that we have stayed at this property. 2 years in a row and both have been great experiences. The size of the house, number of bedrooms and bathrooms are perfect for us. We really like the neighborhood and how easy it is to get to grocery stores. But, the best part is the nice big deck with a great view of the lake and the little beach for us to play with our small grandchildren! The boat house has many water toys and its so nice to just have all of that on site. The owner lives right next door and has always been very kind and helpful if ever we need him. So, thanks Jeff : )

The house exceeded all our expectations. The rooms are spacious and nicely furnished, and each one has a view of the lake. We very much enjoyed their kayaks and pontoon boat, and we especially enjoyed swimming in the clear lake. The owners are wonderful, available to answer any questions or help in whatever way you need. We are definitely looking forward to going back again next summer.

The property had everything we needed for a family retreat. The beach, yard and dock were perfect for activities after enjoying time on the water with the pontoon boat. Jeff was accessible and very helpful with ensuring we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

House was just as shown. Location was great, close to stores/restaurants. Owner lives right next door and is very quick to respond to any questions/concerns.

We enjoyed our stay. Mainly rented it for the beach on the water. Our granddaughters loved it! Was nice to have a paddle boat, 2 kayaks, and 2 paddle boats. Even had a place on the dock for our son to park his boat. The pictures of the house were pretty accurate. Everyone loved having their own full size bathroom.

From the moment we inquired about the property to the end of our stay, their professionalism and attentiveness were commendable. They provided detailed instructions, ensuring a seamless check-in process, and were readily available to answer any questions we had. Their dedication to ensuring a memorable experience truly enhanced our stay. Our stay at this lake house rental on Lake Norman was an unforgettable experience.

Unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy much of the "lake life" due to the weather and other things we had planned for our trip. But this house is very spacious and accommodating. We had more than enough room. I would definitely come back!

Enjoyed our stay in this charming, quaint location. Host was very responsive when questions arose and was very friendly. Property tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Didn’t get chance to enjoy lake as we were there for college graduation so time was pretty booked up. If you’re looking for a quiet place with lake access, this is the spot.

From the time we arrived and met Jeff our stay was absolutely perfect. The house was everything it was made out to be and very well stocked as we enjoy cooking we will be staying again.

We rented this home for 2 weeks so that we could meet our new grand baby. It was a beautiful location and perfectly sized for our group, with plenty of space for our son and his new family to hang out with us. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, and the owners were extremely kind and welcoming. The views were beautiful and accommodations were just right. My family and I stayed in this beautiful home, over Thanksgiving, and it did NOT disappoint! The home is located in an exquisite neighborhood & situated directly on Lake Norman-with a stunning view from almost every room! The bedrooms were spacious and the bathrooms were huge! The kitchen was a chef's dream! The back deck was a wonderful addition. We had a few hiccups during our stay, but the owner was VERY quick to remedy the issues. Overall, I would recommend staying in this home WITHOUT HESITATION- we just might be back during the warmer months to test out all of the fun water toys!

My friends and I haven't been able to see each other since 2019 due to covid. This was our first real trip together in three years and it was perfect! The lake house was wonderful, and we had a great time!

We were there for a wedding in Statesville Beautiful views. Great bedrooms. I never found the fire pit that was advertised in the listing at the time. But we really never had time to have a fire anyway. And we had perfect beautiful weather. It got cold in our last day!!

We loved our stay in this comfortable lake house. The owners could not be more helpful and friendly! We will definitely be back!

From start to finish we had a great experience! Vacationing to a new place is always risky, but this home was perfect for our family. The layout was ideal. Large bedrooms each with a large bathroom. The open kitchen, dining and family room. Great deck with wonderful views of the lake. The private beach and water toys that came with the house provided us with enough entertainment for everyone. Jeff was very helpful and we really appreciated the fact that he had went out and got sand so our grandbabies had a nice sandy beach to play on! We hope to return someday!

We had such an amazing, relaxing vacation at Jeff’s house! The house was perfect! The location was perfect! The lake was perfect! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to have a family vacation!

We had a great weekend away at the lake with just a short drive from Charlotte. Jeff & Amy (owners) live next door and couldn't have been nicer. We rented one of their boats for the weekend and they outfitted us with any water toy one could want for the kids. We'll definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone. Also, the house layout is awesomely unique - there are three bedrooms each with a full bath. So much fun.

House was perfect for our family. Loved that each bedroom has its own on suite bath. There is a nice deck with a great view of the lake. Owner was in communication with us and check in was super simple. Everything was perfect - hope to return some day.

The Elysian Escape is in such a great location on Lake Norman! Everything you could ever need is within 5 minutes of the house. The private dock makes it so convenient if you are boating and the launch ramp is just two doors down if you bring your own boat! Checking in was super easy and Jeff was a very friendly and welcoming host. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Perfect trip to beautiful Lake Norman. The house has a ton of space and the bedrooms are laid out in such a way that provide great privacy when in your room. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you’ll need. The beach area was a great way to access the water, especially for the older folks in our group. We also enjoyed use of the kayak. Jeff was very helpful and responsive. He assisted with getting our boat moored at the dock and was even kind enough to bring us a propane tank after 9pm! The lake is huge and having been our first time on the water we thought the location was great. If you are on the fence, go ahead and book this one. You’ll love it!

The perfect place for relaxation during a busy graduation weekend. The bedroom suites made it perfect for a family of adults. The beach, kayaks and paddle boards made it a great place to relax and have fun.

We went to Lake Norman mainly to fish. Per the description there is a dock. But because this is a recreational portion of the lake, the wake is so fierce we had to string the boat between the side of the dock and a tree to keep it from getting beat up. It took three people to accomplish this, each time we put the boat up for the night. The owner also asked us not to fry fish in the house. As this was the main purpose of the visit, to fish and eat fish, this unusual request put a crimp in our vacation. One of the photos shows beach chairs looking out on the lake. The actual view from this location is of the docks. There is a nice view of the lake from the house.

This is a slice of paradise. The home is spacious, immaculate, and well stocked. The views are amazing from any room in the house. Our grandsons had access to a wide variety of beach toys, a paddle boat, and a clean beach area. Most importantly, the owner was welcoming and the property was safe and secure. The yard is gorgeous with lovely shade trees over the deck. We plan to come back to this home!

I've long dreamed of spending time in a home on a lake. Lake Norman became the spot! From the moment you walk through the front door, your blood pressure drops 10 points! The house was spotless, well equipped kitchen, and plenty of water toys. Markets and restaurants nearby. Jeff, our host was welcoming and gracious. The house was perfect for our group. We had college bass fishermen competing in a tournament. The anglers had bedrooms and bathrooms to themselves, the kitchen was spacious for group meals, and the owner helped with parking many trucks/boats. The owners are right next door, very friendly and helpful! My teenage son also loved spending some time with their dogs!!
