We had a great week at At Last. It was a great fit for our family of four with an easy walk to the beach and clubhouse pool.

Everything worked so we didn’t. This is our 25th annual St George Island visit. This home is spacious and ideal for two couples. Sure the house with all its amenities will accommodate more We chose to not do that. And just relax.

Beautiful home! Clean and well maintained. I don't say that lightly because I was a hotel manager for 30+ years and rarely does a rental meet my standards, but this one did. There were only two in our party and we each enjoyed a separate bedroom and bathroom. The bedrooms are on opposite sides of the home, so plenty of privacy. We did not use the upstairs, but did see how that would be great for a family (though anyone sleeping upstairs would have to use one of the downstairs bathrooms, which are attached to the bedroom areas). The color scheme of white/neutral decor is very brave for a rental! As adults we loved it. We also appreciated that the house is tucked away from the road, and surrounded by trees. Again, privacy from nearby homes.

The location is wonderful and the rental company was easy to work with on trip. The house was definitely not what I would consider clean. The floors were definitely dirty. The vacuum at the house didn’t function correctly. We sprayed the house down with lysol, and cleaned the bathrooms before using. I am not sure why, but at night the queen bedroom doesn’t seem to stay cool. We would wake up sweating in the night. The location is great, and house would be fine if it had a good deep clean and a few updates. I am thinking the floors couldn’t be cleaned good bc of the lack of cleaning equipment. FYI the washer and dryer is outside in garage closet. It wasn’t a deal breaker for me, but you do have to go outside. It’s super hot.

We found the property to be updated in some areas and needing an update in others. Overall the property was nice and there were no major issues. The main living area and kitchen have been mostly updated is was very nice. The two bathrooms are in need of updating, but we had no problems with them. And it would be great to find a way to relocate the W/D into the main home.

We enjoyed our stay. It was close to beach access as advertised. The upstairs room is charming with a great view. We also liked the downstairs layout of the house with 2 separate bedrooms but one bathroom accessible to all. We had a puzzle area, an eating area and a TV area to enjoy. We spent several hours every day on the deck as we had good weather. A washer and dryer would be a nice addition.

Both had soap scum, mold and hairs in shower/tub area. Both faucets leaked in showers. Mold and years of dust in ceiling vents. Beds and pillows were horrible. With a little bit of work this house would be fabulous.

Bedrooms were good size with comfy beds. Kids loved the area upstairs. Was almost like having two family rooms. Beach and clubhouse were very close/convenient. We were there the week before Memorial Day, so was very quiet and not crowded until final Saturday night when everyone arrived for the holiday weekend. There was a bad outlet in the bedroom that I called about and never heard back. Also, we don't go on vacation to watch TV, but the cable or Internet TV or whatever they had was pretty much unwatchable. Kept glitching/pausing/stopping no matter the channel or which TV you used throughout the house.
