transition area of Cuenca not the safest at night. there are much better areas however it is nicely remodeled with spacious lobby area

TERRIBLE BED! No hot water and zero soap. amenities are CHEAP. Two twin beds placed together is not a King bed. we could not sleep due the the terrible lump in the center of the mattress. You can not sit up in bed as the headboard actually slides and bumps into the light switch. The hot water is dialed back in temperature so low that it is impossible to use the tub. By the time the tub partially fills the water is cold. One must have the water on full hot to have a shower. The low quality of the bed pillows was terribly uncomfortable and the front desk had no alternatives. This hotel is a complete rip off as they are priced higher than 99% of other properties. To be unable to sleep ruins a hotel stay. and we were in the “best” suite. poorly placed doors left bruises on our arms. restaurant food quality uses super cheap ingredients and only one employee insured super slow poor service.

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly; the hotel has been impeccably designed and decorated...very comfortable bed and pillows, excellent shower, artwork; the views from the upstairs restaurant are amazing; centrally located

stuffy/warm in the room because there is no air circulation; dinner was too pricey for what it was; like many hotels in the center of Cuenca, the rooms are centered around a courtyard and it can get noisy when people decide to come home at 1:30am and talk/laugh...the echo reverberates throughout the property

First class all the way! Very clean, very beautiful! The restaurant is conveniently located on the rooftop, amazing views! Will definitely be coming back! The staff is by far the best we’ve had, helpful and so kind. Thank you Edgar, for the extra time you spent with us!!!

We liked everything, nothing poor to say. we missed having a little A/C but we underestimated the warmth given the time of year we were here.
