Cute space. Perfect for what we needed.

We stayed there for three days. Location was not very good as it seem to be near a bar where there was a lot of noise all hours of the night. I did not feel safe at this location. Communication with the property manager was not existent after we arrived.

Very clean and well kept, quick easy check in and check out process. Short, easy walk to the beach, awesome view from balcony. We enjoyed every second! I highly recommend this place.

It rained the first 2 days, but that didn't hamper our trip because the view and sounds of the beach waves made it refreshing. On the third day, it was gorgeous outside and we were able to easily walk to the beach, have lunch outside at Oceanic and watch the surfers. And that was icing on the cake! The space was clean and comfortable. We felt safe because of the keyless entry to enter the building and to enter our room. Accessing the space was good exercise because of the steps. Oh, even though the space does sleep 6, it was spacious enough for two people to walk around comfortably.

Loved being so close to the ocean & pier. Condo is cute & fairly well stocked. I will reiterate some things others have said: One of the 3 nights we stayed (Thurs-Sat), the music from nearby Palm Room bar was loud. I wouldn't stay here if you have difficulty climbing stairs as there is no elevator. After you add in price to rent linens, taxes, fees, etc. it did end up being rather expensive per night for our 3 night stay. I had asked a question online about property & didn't book right away - the price went up $20/night in the couple of days it took me to get around to doing it, so be warned about that possibility. The Shark Bar & Kitchen was a convenient place to walk to, grab dinner & be able to sit outside & eat during pandemic. Overall a good experience staying at Shearin.

It was so so nice to be a few steps away from the sand! The apartment is exactly as advertised in the photos and we had a great stay. The ocean view from the balcony is *BETTER* than pictured. We had our meals on the balcony every night. There were plenty of utensils, plates and bowls and having access to a full kitchen was a big plus. The bed is very good quality and very comfortable and the linens were nicely and safely shrink-wrapped from the cleaners so that we could make the bed knowing that nobody but us had touched the linens. The only thing is that the apartment was not super clean (granted I have very high standards), especially the bathroom/shower. The tub and sliding door had soap scum that could easily be removed with dish soap and a bit of elbow grease. The kitchen sink was clogged and drained slowly, so that needs to be fixed. Also the checkout time at 10am was really way too early, and there was zero flexibility in terms of an extra hour before having to check out. But overall the location and apartment were great. There is a bar downstairs one door down the street and drunk people might wake you at 2am while walking to their cars, but other than that it is a great apartment.

One can sit on the balcony and watch the waves roll in or refocus and watch the walkers, joggers, bikers, and other beach traffic. One of my favorite activities was sitting on the balcony and observing the moon and stars at night. The place is perfect.

Reviewer Comments: When we arrived at the unit Saturday afternoon we immediately called your agency to request an upgrade and or change of location. The pictures clearly oversold the property and it was dirty, and later as we showed in pictures had multiple roaches! We called at 4:50 to make such request, were put on hold and then to voicemail !!. SO we left a message and got no returned call (later we were told there was no message left, I have the time stamp on my phone) So my wife went twice to your office, once on Monday then Tuesday. On both occasions I asked to have a manager call me. But they clearly are not interested in service just collecting the fees. They have high school kids in the office. By Tuesday I called and asked for at least a late check out in compensation.......instead the HS girl just wanted my C.C. number to charge me a late check out fee. I was going to let this all ride except now I'm going all the way with both Airbnb and the owners of the apartment that we now have contact info !
I still have not received a phone call from someone older than 21 !!

The place was not cleaned in the hard to get to locations: behind doors, in corners, under low lying furnishings, in cabinets, under sink. We stayed during the hurricane and were not able to use the TV system due to the cables put in wrong spots. Never were able to get TV reception. We have stayed twice now and both times liked the location.

Check-In was very confusing. View was not quite what I expected from the pictures. Got locked out of the bedroom through no fault of our own (poor design).

My only complaint is I wish it could have been a longer visit.

We stayed here with 3 teenagers and they loved it. A little tight with 5 people but it worked. It is a noisy area right next to major intersection and beach parking. The city starts blowing sand off the sidewalks at 7:00am every morning.

Building was very clean. This property has a lot of stairs so be prepared if you have a lot of heavy luggage like we did. Kitchen and balcony were the best things about the place. Couch was stained which was gross. The bed and bunk beds were uncomfortable. Had to call maintenance for the WiFi to be fixed and it was. Overall it was adequate.

The condo was very nice and clean. Nice view from balcony.
