We had such an exceptional time! Beautiful property, with wonderful hosts, a fabulous location, and really thoughtful communication and pre-arrival information. We had a delightful time and would absolutely return!

This was a great place for my wife, our 2 kids and a friend who was traveling with us. The studio (extra house) is great for that reason. The Hot tub was a nice addition to enjoy in the evenings and mornings.

Amazing Cozy home! Very private home with a fully stocked kitchen, hot tub and private guest home. Very thorough check in process and communication. Convenient for multi family stays, or larger groups. Would consider again if we were to come back! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This was our first international travel with VRBO and it was a dream. We brought our 2 adult kiddos to Iceland for a family trip and between the main house and the guest house, we each had our own space. The kids (both in the mid 20's) had the main house and we had the guest house. The communication with Heidrun was easy and she was very responsive to our questions. All the beds were super comfortable, and the house was very well stocked. The house is away from the town but there is a Bonus supermarket, great cafe right next to the store and a restaurant (Grillhaus) very close by (went there twice). Great instructions on the various appliances in the home were provided from the owners. Easy drive to the Golden Circle, and the other major sites around. Would recommend this house to anyone.

Lovely house in a rural quiet location and is ideal to drive to many visit attractions. Has all the comforts you need, lovely and warm. Hot tub was fabulous. The host very attentive and quick to answer any questions. Nearest town borgarnes well equipped with shops, restaurants etc. Would highly recommend it made our holiday perfect.

We had a wonderful time in the cottage! It was warm and comfortable for the 8 of us. The kitchen was well supplied and we cooked all our meals in the house. It was easy to go to the supermarket in Borgarnes for food. We even saw the Aurora Borealis from the porch one night, which was the goal of the trip! It's also a great location to explore Snaefellsnes as a day trip.

Heidi's home in Snaefellsness has a perfect family setting. The fact that it is not too big and not too small allows for closer and more intimate interactions between guests, while still being spacious enough to accommodate them comfortably. It has a very warm and cozy ambiance that really makes it feel like home away from home. The utilities and modern appliances come with a manual that appropriately and accurately instruct guests on how to utilize them. Our best takeaway however from our stay here was being able to see the Northern Lights, as the house is located in an area with little to none light pollution. Would definitely recommend this for people chasing the lights. Heidi was also very responsive throughout our entire stay, offering us very helpful tips on locations and open hours of restaurants and supermarkets especially during the Christmas holidays and guiding us promptly in the only one time we encountered a problem. Heidin was a perfect host with a perfect home for our family of seven, and we would definitely come back again! Thanks so much for your hospitality and opening your home to us, Heidi.

A very nice home and guest house outside of Borganess. We enjoyed the hot tub and saw the northern lights from the deck on one clear evening during our stay. Everything worked, plenty of towels and the house was comfortably warm. It is a bit of a drive from Reykjavik.

Beautifully kept house with excellent use of space and natural light. Comfortable beds and bedding. Good supplies of kitchen articles and linens. The atmosphere is as though you are in a private getaway with endless horizons, but only 15 minutes to the grocery. A very special experience. We felt immediately relaxed and at home.

The hot tub is perfect for unwinding and watching the stars after a day of hiking in the nearby national park. Linens and towels are lovely quality and we had a very good night sleep on the comfy mattresses. There is a coffee maker and filters. We brought our own coffee. The bakery in Borgarnes is a MUST for breakfast and amazing sandwiches!

We arrive in this beautiful house and area by a little lake, in late August. We absolutely fell deeply in love with Lundur, so much that we are coming back in May. We cannot rate this high enough, and the hosts are very responsive and nice. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

This is a lovely Little house in a great location 10 minutes drive from Borgarnes. It was snowing when we stayed (a group of 3 adults and a teenager) . the hot tub is in a sheltered location ideal for watching the northern lights. You will need a mobile phone to access the gate at the entry to the property and make sure you read the instructions provided on Dropbox before you go for the house -there is no hard copy house manual at this stage. Highly recommend for a small group.
