Rental property was quaint, location was excellent, and communication with property manager Danielle was Awesome! Plan to make this a yearly trip.

This house is so adorable and has many extras - things I don't usually see in a rental! I felt very well cared for! You can't beat the view and access to the beach! Danielle is the sweetest host! She was very informative and helpful with everything I asked for. We had the most wonderful time, and will return for sure!

I rented the Turtle and stayed there most of the week by myself, but about 2 nights my friends stayed with me. My one friend has 2 kids and they loved it. Danielle supplies board games and we had a big lunch and played games all afternoon. Once the weather cleared up we walked on the beach and looked for shells. We all had an amazing time.
Danielle was awesome! Always answers questions and helps assist with whatever request you might have. The master bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in lol and for me, that's important!
If you are looking for a hotel style home, this is not the place. If you are looking for character that only a 103 year old house can give, then this is it!
This house sits high up with it's own private beach area or you can walk down a few steps and be on public beach. I was there during Spring Break and it was so quiet and peaceful. If you are looking for solitude, this is the house. Also, I cannot put into words how beautiful the sunrise was to watch every morning and the amazing photos I was able to take.

This beach house is even more beautiful and charming than photographs can capture. It is a comfortable and clean house with the perfect view of the beach from the front porch and dining table indoors.
Danielle, the manager is welcoming and genuinely cares about her guests.

I have been visiting the Daytona area for many years and this charming ocean front house has been THE best of all! We loved the beautiful ocean view from the outside swing and from the inside couch and table. Danielle the owner was so sweet and very easy to work with! Looking forward to our next visit already!

If you like new(er) high rise condos, crowded elevators, pools and beaches, stay away from this house. This is an old time beach house with antique hardwood floors, funky layout and no pool. Super clean with an almost private beach just down the steps from the house. This place was sooooo relaxing and the owner was great. We loved it and so did the four kids (17 to 25)

Great beach house for family vacation
Loved this house. Right on the beach with fantastic ocean view. Very spacious for 4 of us and a wonderful beach deco/feel to the whole house. We spent 3 days on the beach and everything was provided that we needed for beach relaxation and fun. Spent the evenings dining and shopping at the many nearby restaurants and shops. Thanks Danielle for a wonderful stay at The Turtle!

Excellent experience. While the house is old it's very charming and is in a perfect location. Away from the hustle but close enough to go when you want. Owner was amazing and had wonderful recommendations for local restaurants! Sun rise is must see!

Great secluded beach getaway!
We had a great stay! Owner was incredibly nice, friendly, and helpful. We loved the location especially. Even at peak times of the day the beach in front of the house has hardly any people on it. Most locals seem to stay further down the beach , so it was the perfect getaway for a vacation during Covid. Very easy to social distance. Which eased our minds and was the main reason we chose to stay in a house this year instead of a hotel. Now we are spoiled and don’t know if we will ever go back to beach hotels after this lol. Danielle provided a lot, sunscreen, plenty of beach towels, multiple bottles of sunscreen, a ton of beach toys, floats, chairs, and board games. All of that really helped us have a great trip! So relaxing to sit on the back swing and look at the ocean! Internet could be improved, but it was still enough for us to stream Netflix and all in all we had a great family trip here and made lots of new memories!

Paradise
This place was just beautiful. Steps leading directly to the beach, enjoying the sunrises and watching the dolphins. This is truly and old school beach house with lots of charm. My family absolutely enjoyed our stay here

Family Vacation
We had a great stay! Danielle was a pleasure to deal with and the location was perfect, especially with COVID cases increasing during that timeframe. There were five total including a toddler and there was plenty of room!

Sweet little place
Nice little house right on the beach. Owner very sweet. She provided a lot of extras you normally don’t see at other places. Will definitely go back some day.

Old property, terrible customer service
House was boiling hot upon arrival. Many items broken including doors, blinds, shades, washer. Owner was rude from the time our flight got canceled, to the time my father almost passed causing us to need to leave early. She complained about the cleanliness of the property even though we pay a huge cleaning fee and left for an emergency. She kept the entire deposit.

Absolutely delightful
Almost hard to believe this place exists. House sits directly on a lovely and secluded beach. Dolphins swimming by. No hotels or condos nearby, so beach is never crowded. Gorgeous sunsets. House itself is cozy and comfortable and has everything you need. Great room has dining table and couches for lounging with picture windows onto the beach. I'd give it six stars if I could.

The Turtles location was amazing!
We had a great stay at The Turtle! The kitchen and living room were more spacious than pictures depicted! The location to Main St (we came for bike week) was excellent and the view of the beach was breathtaking! The owner Danielle was amazing and communication was easy! We got to see turtles and lizards daily! Plus, the Short ride to Ponce Inlet for one of our favorite restaurants/Light house was a bonus!

Overall, a great stay in general. The direct oceanfront access right off the patio is miraculous. The house is homey and cozy but yet beachy as well. We loved all the natural wood and other pieces from the original house. It gave the house character. I do think they're a few updates that could be made; (ie. Front door hard to open/close, Dated kitchen floor tiles, Patch work in living room floors could be improved) Cleanliness in the bedroom and bathroom. We found long hairs when we pulled the sheets back the first night. In the bathroom, there were also long hairs found there and there were also trash or dust/debris in the bathtub. Their are only local tv channels and signal is spotty. We were rained in on Saturday and tried watching the GA vs Alabama game but signal was spotty and the tv just just kept skipping. Since there is wifi, maybe having access to watch streaming services like Netflix/Hulu. I saw a remote that said netflix but I could not get it to work.

True Beach House
This beach house has a lot of charm and character and puts you as close to the beach as you can get. Owner, Danielle, puts a great effort into making sure your stay is comfortable, also, is easy to contact and communicate with. The house is well stocked with necessities, is very clean and bug free.

Charming, old beach house with direct access was so wonderful. We had a great weekend. Danielle thought of everything and we felt very welcome. We did not go out, but the house is close to good shopping and restaurants. Did not have central heat and air, but portable A/C units and fans made it work.

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay!! It was close enough to anything we wanted to go do or eat but far enough away to enjoy the calming Atmosphere of the ocean/beach. Really enjoyed our getaway!

Great Little Beach House
We stayed for 5 nights this last week and really enjoyed our stay. Danielle, the owner, was flexible with us as our travel plans changed due to COVID-19, and went above and beyond to give us good suggestions for anything we needed. We found the house to be a great place for social distancing! There's good people watching on the beach during the day, and quiet mornings and evenings were our favorite times for walks. The house has everything you need to be comfortable and check out from reality for a few days. I was sad to leave, and would definitely stay here again.

Charming & Cozy
The Green Turtle exceeded my expectations!! I was searching for a beach bungalow that was cozy, directly on the beach, in a quiet neighborhood and that is exactly what I got!!! This home has that Cape Cod feel, the house is 100 years old & so charming & cozy. I stayed there for 4 days with my mother, mother-in-law, son, daughter and her friend. There was plenty of space for the 6 of us and than some. The house was equipped with everything we needed and the beach was absolutely amazing and beautiful. We would definitely go back. Danielle, thank you for your hospitality!!!!

Nice oceanside bungalow
If you are looking for cookie cutter condos that have you stacked like sardines, this isn't the place for you. This is a unique, right on the beach, ocean side bungalow with one of a kind character. Nothing fancy, but all the necessities. Semi private back patio that overlooks the ocean is a great place for breakfast. Private steps lead you down to the beach. Decent places to eat are close by. Danielle did a standout job making us feel welcome.

Original old cottage beach charm
The Owner Danielle is wonderful! This old original cottage was perfect for our family of 2 grandparents, 2 parents and 2 toddlers. Very comfortable and roomy! The beach location and accesss is a 10. It brings back so many memories of the way it was and we loved it. We hopefully will be there again!
