The home itself is gorgeous. The photos do not do it justice. My husband and daughter and baby enjoyed the river very much. I even slid down the slide once just to show them! I enjoyed the hot tub. It was clean and amazing! The listing said just bring yourself and food and it was 100 percent accurate. Everything was there for us. Toilet paper, laundry soap, dish pods, trash bags, paper towels. There were enough towels for us to use before having to wash. There were even beach towels for the river and hot tub. There was even fire wood for our nightly fire. We loved it and hope it will be available when we return in two years. Also very easy to find and centrally located to Helen and Cleveland.

It was hard to find. The owner was not very quick to respond to any questions by text or email. There was food our pet found under the beds. The hot tub when on, created excessive amounts of foam that was very thick and almost looked like we were in a scene from Ghostbusters. It was close to the main attractions. We were able to kayak down the river with help from the owners husband. Our pet was comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet.

Perfect location. Beautiful scenery. Being on the river is a huge asset.

This house, location and owners are amazing! We fell in love with the house. The river with slide and sun rock was a wonderful bonus. Location was also a huge bonus as you are so close to falls and fun in Helen. We felt so at home and can’t wait to return. Thank you cozy cottage hidden gem xo

Stayed here with family son and hubby were extremely happy because they were able to fish in the backyard! It was quiet and relaxing!! Definitely recommend

This is our third time staying at a cabin by this host. The cabin is immaculate and surrounded by trees and the Chattahoochee River. If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway, this is the place for you!

Our 2nd stay to just unwind!

You immediately feel like you’re on vacation here. The location is perfect with the beautiful river, hot tub, bonfire pit. They've got everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The house is clean and kept up very well, and stocked with anything you could ever need. It really does feel like you’re at nana’s cabin! Even our dog didn’t want to leave.

Great place to get away and relax

This property was very nicely decorated as well as very clean. Some of our favorite things on the property were the hot tub, the area to play horseshoes and the many kayaks and tubes the owner provided for the river. The pillows and beds were very comfortable. Close to waterfalls, Helen and some great fishing spots. The owner also included some places they would recommend we go, with directions. It was great for our whole family and even our dog loved it. We definitely recommend this property to anybody that is looking for a great place to stay in Georgia!

The property was better in person that in the photos--always a pleasant surprise! We felt right at home due to the large rooms, well-appointed kitchen, available books/movies/games, lists of restaurants/things to do/directions to various places, etc. During our stay we enjoyed the clean and ready hot tub, the outdoor swing, the fire pit, tubing in the river from the house and our coffee every morning in the peace and quiet offered every morning out on the screened in porch. This home really did have it all!

The locations and home on the Chattahoochee River was great. But the Property Owner is not a VRBO Premier Host. I Highly respect a Premier Host, they are the Best!

The property was absolutely perfect for our New Year's getaway. The bedrooms accommodated 5 adults perfectly. The layout and living spaces flowed so well, and the outdoor areas provided ample additional areas to congregate. The hot tub was extremely relaxing. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't ideal for enjoying the outdoor spaces, but we will be back to try them out in warmer and dryer temps!

This property was just as described. Wonderful house on the river and was very quiet yet close enough to shopping, eating etc. Very relaxing and was wonderful both inside and outside. Will go back again in the future.

Beautiful place! Very clean and well maintained. Even though there are other cabins you still feel very secluded because they aren’t close. The hot tub felt amazing on the chilly fall nights. The owners were very sweet and kind. We will definitely be back for the summer so we can use the kayaks and swim in the river.

Lovely cabin! A great getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The cabin is clean and nestled in the woods. So peaceful a quiet. We were not disappointed and hope to return next year.

My boyfriend and I wanted a quiet getaway and this cute house fit the bill perfectly! The pictures online really don't do this place justice. The house is decorated beautifully and the river is awesome! I loved sitting on the screened in porch and just listening to the sounds of nature. The owner was super helpful every step of the way. We would love to come back again soon!

The property was great everything was clean I wish I would have known that you could not just put the kayaks in the water at the rental property and you would need to transport them to actually use them because of this me and my family did not use The Kayaks at all and instead rented some from a nearby establishment who would do the taxing for us the owners did state that they would have taken us but it seemed like it would be an inconvenience to them and I did not want to do that. Overall I would go back again we really enjoyed the screened in porch and the atmosphere.

We enjoyed the cabin & its location. Very quiet & tranquil. It's our 1st time vacationing in northern GA in April & we found out it's still a little too cold for us but enjoyed our stay nevertheless.

Quiet property for a beautiful, relaxing stay. Check-in was a breeze! We had everything we needed outside and in. Very simple but cute decor added to homes appeal. Lots of detailed info left by the owners of things to do in the area including hikes, restaurants, and groceries. That was helpful! Overall, great place and I’d highly recommended. Our one single downfall was the battle with the wasp that continuously showed up in one of the bedrooms ... but that’s nature!

The cabin is lovely and the setting relaxing. I brought my three grandchildren and they thoroughly enjoyed it. We went in March, so we brought waders to go in the river. The firepit was perfect for roasting hot dogs, marshmallows and making smores. Our family made a ton of irreplaceable, precious memories.

Everything was well. We really enjoyed our stay away from the busy city but close enough to sight see.

We really enjoyed staying at Nana's Cottage. It was clean, in a great location and our son's loved the fire pit and hot tub. We are hoping to come back when it is warmer so we can enjoy the river.

The picture this place justice. We cannot wait to come back. The river access is amazing. The fishing is amazing. The host and owner are just good people. I cannot say enough about this property.

We had an amazing time! Cottage appears as shown in the pics, it is actually nicer in person! Cottage is extremely clean plus no dog smell whatsoever and it has everything you need....very comfortable! Owner responds immediately. It is a very quiet area and the woods view from the screened in back patio was awesome. We ate breakfast on the back patio and used the Jacuzzi every day. We saw deer, wild turkeys and geese! The Chattahoochee river is on the property, it is about 100 feet from the back stairs! My hubby is a big fisherman, he caught a huge large mouth bass! Helen is only a 15 min drive from the cottage. Would definitely recommend as it was very clean, has everything we needed, owner was great and it was a nice quiet getaway! PS: our small dog loved it especially by the river. I had to carry him up some of the stairs in the back of the house but I knew that before we rented it (stairs in pic)...so if you have a smaller pup who is not used to stairs/old dog just know that ahead of time. We would definitely come back! Thank you...

First of all, we loved our stay! It was incredibly relaxing and enjoying. Owners were very accommodating and attentive. Let’s discuss what we liked: The location: “nestled miles from nowhere- was a big plus. We work busy jobs. This cottage was miles away from a store and that was a good thing. Also the home was situated in the woods and felt like a tree house.” Note: 1. We were 20 to 25 minutes away from several hiking trails. 2. The driveway to the house features a dirt road, that goes about 1/4 mile. Watch out for deer! The Home: “The pictures don’t do the home justice. It’s a cottage with a farm house feel. We loved the living room. The home featured great wrap around porches, and the cottage features an open concept style. Lastly the master bedroom and master bathroom were truly fabulous. The home had a super outdoor space, near the river and you feel completely one with nature. Horseshoes, tubes and a very large fire pit.” We would definitely stay again.
