A fantastic base for exploring Hobart. Great for larger groups. Driveway is a bit challenging, very steep and narrow, but could have easily parked on the street.

Property suited all our needs.

Great location within walking distance to centre of city. House is very spacious so we all had plenty of room to have our own space.

Shelley was so helpful with everything, House was very spacious and well equipped, would have been nice if the deck was alittle bigger to sit out and enjoy the view alittle more. otherwise highly recommended.

Fantastic sized house for families, has everything. The games (mini table tennis/eightball, plus board games, Wii) were a hit with our group. Very close to CBD. The only down we found is the driveway, very steep, but parking available on the street.

Shelley, our host, was super proactive in ensuring we were set for our stay checking we were set for our arrival and making suggestions on local events during our stay. The property was clean and the kids loved the wallaby visits to the area next door to the house. We cannot wait to come back.

Really well appointed home, close to the city and easy access to Mount Wellington and other tourist spots, i.e. Cascade Brewery, Cascade Female Factory. One point that should be more clearly stated is that access to the property is via many steep steps that are very tricky to navigate when carrying luggage. Apart from this it is a great well appointed and fastidiously clean property.

My family and I, with another family-total 8 people, were very impressed with our stay. Shelley kept the house clean, tidy, we are warm with the heaters provided, linen, kitchenware, toiletries all provided. Shelley was always helpful, she returns our calls instantly and made sure we were equipped with what we needed. Definitely love to stay there again if we return to Hobart. We highly recommend Shelley’s house.

The House owner Shelley absolutely fantastic! Everything we needed was available clean, warm, friendly and most importantly quiet at night. Shelley made sure that if we needed anything she was willing to help!. The house itself close to all we needed in Hobart! I would have no hesitation to stay on our next visit! Located on the top of a steep hill. Very spacious and equipped. Shelley is extremely friendly & helpful. Great place for large families.

Lovely large home, nice walk into the city. The owner was very accommodating and met us at the property and checked in to make sure everything was ok.

A large family home that was well equipped with everything you need. Very good kitchen with all of the little things like peelers, salad bowls, chopping boards, salt, pepper, oil, cling wrap etc. It made it very easy to cook meals. A large dining table and living area to spend time with the family. The house was very clean and had a large family bathroom as well as an ensuite. Probably not the best choice for elderly due to steep stairs leading to property, but a great place to stay for families. Only 5 minutes to the city and a nice grocery store within walking distance. We had a lovely time here.

Great property high up in west Hobart with views. Comfortably suited us 7 and could easily accomodate 10. Everything u would need , two bathrooms, large lounge and kitchen area, all the mod cons even has Alexa and very good quality wifi. Is built on a steep bank so not recommended for those not physically capable of walking up and down steep stone steps. Garden not really useable for same reason. Shelley was very good came to meet us on arrival and show us how everything works. Always contactable on the phone if needed. Fantastic service.

This property was perfect for us, we were here for a concert and decided to stay an extra night, we came down on Friday and left on Sunday, there was so much more at the property than expected. One of the best properties we have stayed at.

We arrived after 11pm and was welcomed by Shelly who showed us around the house. This was very helpful in getting to know where everything is and how they operate. We had a great time.

Owner Shelley is very helpful and offer many good advice on area of interest, food etc. She is very prompt to attention as a host and passionate in her role. We will come back again when we have the opportunity to visit Hobart. Thank you Shelley.

House was excellent. Amenities was not an easy walking distance to due to uphill and downhill. Overall enjoyed their stay.

Shelley was a very friendly host. She kindly showed us around the house and gave us a warm welcome at the door. The house was clean and tidy, plenty of rooms for 7 adults. A spectacular view overlooking hillside of Hobart at the balcony. We ran into a trouble with not enough hot water for showers. Apart from this, everything was great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property and the host was amazing. The pictures do not do it full justice... the views are incredible, the space is ample (we had six in our party), and the setting is amazing! We couldn’t believe the fact that wallabies wander into the backyard in the evening, just like squirrels back home. What a treat for the kids! The host, Shelley, went above and beyond from the beginning of our visit. She met us personally, toured us through the space, and offered up suggestions for food and places to visit. We were pleasantly surprised to find oatmeal, fruit, and a well stocked pantry at our disposal. She checked in via email to make sure we were settling in well. Could not have had a better host!! Thank you, Shelley, for your hospitality! We loved our time in Hobart! (PS date of review is Jan 2018, but site won’t let me enter 2018! ;)
