I like the house and location - very close to everything at the town, but at the same time secluded in quite area, near great park. You can walk to the beach (~1.5 mi) The house can easily fit 3 families of 3. Well stocked (kitchen have everything you need, great knifes) , fooseball is a very nice feature. Couple things to consider: Cleaning wasn't done very well Very dirty curtain in the upstairs shower. Very old mattress.

This place is surrounded with walking/biking trails. Also very close to SAFEWAY grocery store which I went to almost daily. Great central location in South Lake Tahoe.

We loved our stay at the Red House. Perfect location for our family, and we are looking forward to going back next year. Our 4 legged son loved the backyard and watching the wildlife. Thank you for an amazing house to stay in. Our 5 year old loved "The Little Red house."

Perfect location and home for a weekend away. It was easy (and quick) to get to the California Lodge for some skiing. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking meals. The back yard was great for our pup and toddler to have some fun playing in the snow. We hope to come up again!

We had a great time at Barbara's cabin. The location and layout was perfect for our needs. Not fancy, but very comfortable with everything we needed. Thanks Barbara!

Beautiful home with an excellent location.

The cabin was as described, spacious with a well equipped kitchen and absolutely quiet.

My family enjoyed our visit. The house was very comfortable, and nicely decorated. Lake Tahoe is so beautiful. It was a great place to stay after our play time at the lake.

The property is clean but dated. All in all it was a really good stay - although the twin beds made a lot of noise every time we moved. It made it funny though, since we made fun of the girls sleeping in those beds. It was a really good base for our Tahoe trip.

Cozy place that's really close to everything. Family of 4 with a Labrador, would recommend.

We loved our stay. This home is very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. which is always a plus. It rained, hailed and snowed during our trip which made the fireplace extra special to come home to at night. This home has a huge fenced in backyard if you are bringing your fur baby with you. It is also very close to everything which is very convenient.

Everything was as described and we had no trouble whatsoever with our stay. Location is great, house was furnished well and the amenities made sure we were comfortable.

This was the perfect cabin. It was clean, warm, and close to grocery stores, ski lifts, restaurants, and shopping centers. I recommend this cabin if you are traveling to South Lake Tahoe.

There was lots of snow! We had a great time despite not being able to ski due to wind one of the days. We enjoyed the cabin and the fenced backyard for the dogs. Overall the cabin was clean and tidy. We would stay again. The kitchen had all the appliances, pots, etc … we needed to cook what we wanted to cook.

I stayed here with 8 adult guests and my black lab. We had enough room for all of us, though I would say it would be best with 3 couples given the bedroom lay out, but the 8th guest slept on the upstairs futon with no complaints! The owners had the house stocked with a few essentials like cooking oil, spices and coffee filters which is good if you plan on cooking! We had a few different people preparing meals at once and didn't feel like we were hovering over each other! The fire place is warm and they have enough bedding and towels to cover everyone. A few people could shower back to back without running out of hot water which was very appreciated in the winter! The driveway fit 3 vehicles as stated without feeling crowded, and the owners have salt outside and shovels as needed to take care of the driveway in snow/ice conditions. They also have access to the laundry room from the outside so you can place items in there without tracking through the house. There's also a couple of nice loops to walk the dog that aren't super crowded with cars which was nice for us! There's a Heavenly lodge just a few minutes drive from the cabin that is not super crowded which made for such easy mornings getting to the mountain. Overall, would absolutely recommend staying here! I also had interaction with both owners who were very nice and responsive to our needs. We will be coming back!! :)

My family was looking for a cabin that would fit six adults, two toddlers, and three dogs for Thanksgiving in Tahoe. With the vacation rental requirements we were in a bind trying to find a place where we could fit three cars and would take three dogs. This cute family cabin fit the bill! Plenty of bed space and the backyard was perfect for the dogs. The dinning table is right behind the couch, which was a bit cozy, but worked. We loved the short walk to Bijou Park - the playground was great for the girls and we played a round of disc golf. Would recommend!

Nice cabin, not too close to town but not far at all either. Nice and quiet neighborhood. Around the corner from a very nice park with a pro-like BMX track and alot of other things to do at the park. When we got there we found the cabin kind of dusty (floors & furniture). A nice improvement would be some work in the back-yard. There was plenty of entertainment at the house. Wi-Fi was very good because we did not really have any signal at the house through AT&T(that can be both a positive and a negative). Overall a nice stay and be aware there are bears around there. We had a visitor(bear) the last two nights we were there because the previous tenants had left some left over trash that we did not know about in the side closet by the entrance. The bear got a smell of that and he came to "take out" that trash bag and then he thought he would check again the following night to make sure there was nothing else. It made it for more of a memorable stay. The bear did not atttemp to come into the house even thought we had all the doors and windows open (only protected by screens). It might have been that bears were out there because of fires that were somewhat close to Tahoe when we visited.

Although we didn’t bring our dog this time, we definitely will consider staying here again just for the fact that you can. The home eas clean, adorable and the support was timely and friendly. The only reason my score is 4 stars, instead of 5, is due to the back yard not being landscaped. With all the parking restrictions in Tahoe, this home has room for 3 cars in a row in the driveway, as long as they are not all oversized. We brought one large truck, compact SUV and a sedan.
