Good location, close to bus station and supermarket. Like the kitchen so you can cook instead of going outf for food every day, still have quite a lot of restaurants and bars nearby, but not as much as St. Gillian. Quite spacious and quiet neighbourhood.

Quite a lot of things to keep in mind before check-in.

Locate in Sliema, close to the waterfront. Elevator. Easy check in

A lot of furniture broken. Mattress very uncomfortable. Sleeping couch from plastic leather and very uncomfortable. Not well cleaned! Kitchen equipment very basic and dirty.

Flat 1, 38 Chalet Apartments - Ground Floor. This apartment is centrally located and within walking distance of Sliema and St Julian's. The apartment is spacious and airy with a kitchen to allow for self catering, there is also a washing machine. The host provided clean towels, sheets and pillow cases. During our stay we found the area to be quiet. With a little more attention to detail regarding some equipment in the kitchen and the available bedding, this apartment would have attracted an excellent rating. That said we enjoyed our stay in a comfortable apartment which was well situated for shops transport and amenities. The host was very prompt at answering requests, we requested some extra plates which were duly delivered. Our booking also included the airport transfer by taxi, a nice touch by the host.

A few basic items were not available in the kitchen. For example, there was no plastic fish slice to use with the non stick pan. If you like coffee bring your own cafetiere. The mattress and pillows had seen better days and could do with replacing and in some cases cleaning. The shower curtain was also in need of a clean or replacing.

In general the apartment is good. Location is great, everything is close and easy to reach. Not everything is like in the photos, thought. Get informed about power instalations in Malta, as it's not the same as in the most of Europe, so you'll probably need adapters.

We spent 2 hours (1.30-3.30am) in front of the apartment waiting for someone to let us in. They provided phone number to call when arive as it was late check in, but no one has answered the numbers of calls. They charge 35€ for late check in, although there is a keybox with 4 digits lock. Internet connection was terrible, most of time there were no connection at all. The worst is that they never answered our mails, sms, questions, never excused nor said a single word.

Communication with the owner is good, he complied with our requests.

Unfortunately, the apartment was full of dust, a piece of apple on the bedside table, not enough toilet paper. Extra bed uncomfortable. The man who picked us up at the airport did not help us with the suitcase and the stroller.

Location excellent. Close to lots of restaurants, ferry etc... Driver from airport extremely helpful,his name was Edward.

Bed was awfully uncomfortable, poor quality mattress and pillows. Curtains also could do with being heavier and actually cover the windows.

Convenient locqtion, clean and light comfortable apartment and great host who responded quickly uf any queries

There were a few minor hiccups in rhe apartment but the host was very helpful and reslonded to resolve the issues quickly

This apartment is in a very good area close to local bus route and restaurants. Spotlessly clean. Bed very comfortable. Its in a lovely quiet area too. The airport transfers were great. Dean is such a lovely man. Paula the agent was very helpful . Will definitely be coming back again. Malta is stunning 🙂🤗👍

Excellent location. The apartment was a little tired in terms of decoration, but we were out a lot of the time. Easy to get in touch with the company running the apartment and everything went smoothly.

• not helpful staff • we got a room at the ground floor and due to high humidity in apartment the walls were covered with mould in the bed room • the WiFi did not work at our room and we just were sad to use one from apartment above but connection was really poor • the floor in apartment is tiled and very cold, may be it is fine for summer time but during the winter time owners could provide some slippers or just notify about • before me checked in we were send a lot of messages about fees and rules but no really useful staff for us such as UK plugs • safety deposit 250 € has been blocked 1 week before arrival and more then 1 week after check out we still did not get it back

Well located well equipped apartment. Arranged to be picked up at airport as we had a late arrival at a cost of €20 and were met by Sharon a very pleasant lady who took us to apartment and took care of the money business, handed over keys ,gave us the lowdown on the apartment. Be aware a €200 refundable security deposit in cash is required in fact all of balance due is cash also €35 for check in after 9pm which did not apply in our case is expected.The apartment is a large studio type with balconies front and rear all glass so very bright in fact curtains not up to scratch some were shrunken, bathroom was fine.

Wifi totally unreliable had to rely on our own data, luckily had good roaming allowance

Alot of building work going on in area and in street ...mosquito's really hungry for october but all out of owners control.only thing that was annoying was no internet which owner didnt manage solve due to supplier change.
