Absolutely wonderful. House was comfortable and warm. Everything we needed was at our fingertips Jackie had put a lot of thought into making sure our stay was perfect. We loved spending time on the deck and the bird life was amazing. Even the family dog was spoilt treats on our arrival and great fenced in paddock for off lead play. Thank you Jackie and Paul for making our stay special ❤️

We had a lovely stay at Lark Rise and only wish it could have been longer. Jackie was there to meet me and explain things and was available if we needed anything. Such a beautiful quiet bush setting with birds, wallabies and goats. The accomodation had everything we needed and was very comfortable with a highlight being the deck overlooking nature. Highly recommend

I absolutely loved my stay at Lark Rise. The place was so lovely and clean, the beds super comfy and the kitchen well stocked. What I loved most was sitting out on the large balcony listening to the birds, so relaxing. The paddock was fantastic for my greyhound to zoom around in. Lark Rise is also located close to shops and cafes. Jackie and Paul were fantastic hosts, going out of their way to make sure my holiday was perfect. Highly recommend! Will definitely be back.

We stayed at Lark Rise for 3 nights and bought our 2 beagles with us, they loved the little fenced paddock in front of the cottage and sitting on the balcony listening to the birds and wildlife. The property was well maintained and comfortable we had a very enjoyable stay

Lark Rise is super clean and is well-designed so that it felt like we had plenty of space for our extended family of five plus dog and cockatiel. We received a warm welcome from both Jackie and Paul who are both lovely. Jackie showed us around when we arrived which was very helpful, and suggested some lovely local walks and cafes which we really enjoyed. We also appreciated the special touches eg treats for us and the dog, a choice of milk. The house is well appointed with everything a family could want for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, including heating. Highly recommend!

Jackie and Paul were so accommodating, especially looking out for our two dachshunds. Nothing was too much trouble.
A great place, very dog friendly, paddock for the dogs to run around and all the ammenities we could need. Definitely recommend staying here.

We had a beautiful stay here at Lark rise. It was a lovely, peaceful spot to rest & sleep during a busy 5 days visiting family!
My only suggestion would be a lamp in the loungeroom for a more low light solution as our kids were sleeping in the rooms adjacent & we dont shut their doors. Other then though we would definitely stay again!

The property is as described, the owner lives behind the property and there to assist when and if needed, but in no way obtrusive, we enjoyed a chat over our mutual love of dogs. The property is very clean, well equiped for short or longer term stays and confirmable bed.

Our host and the birds were very welcoming, and we found everything we needed for an enjoyable stay.
The house is clean and airy, and provided plenty of room for our family. It was a lovely place to relax and unwind after visiting the attractions of the area.
The balcony offers a lovely view of the trees and I found is the perfect spot for early morning yoga.

Jackie and Paul were there to greet us and we were shown the house we rented for two nights. The house is clean and had everything we needed, plus more. There is a great fenced in area for dogs ti use, which was very appreciated. Very peaceful sourrounds. A lovely couple. Thank you kindly!

Everything with this property was fantastic.
We had a perfect experience with our stay. We had dogs and the property was just perfect for our dogs. There was an enclosed fence for our dogs to run around in. The property had absolutely everything you could need. The location was ideal for our stay. Close to everything. Our hosts Jackie and her husband were terrific and very helpful. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Lovely cottage amongst the treetops
We loved this comfortable cottage/house where we stayed for nearly a week. Everything we needed was provided. Lark Rise is at the top of a hill where you look out to lovely trees and are surrounded by well kept lawns and gardens. Our host, Jackie, was most welcoming.

Serene and relaxing
Ahhh the serenity! Lark Rise is away from the hustle and bustle and noise of the Gold Coast, and yet within minutes you can be back there again. The peacefulness of being surrounded by trees and lush gardens (and the occasional goat) is something else. The hosts are fantastic with communication, and ensuring your stay is a pleasant one - and when they say they're dog-friendly, they mean it! My big girl Arya and I were very comfortable here over a lengthy stay while our home was being renovated.
