We had a great two night stay at this adorable cabin in Buchanan Lake. The lake level was low but still enough water to enjoy swimming, paddle boarding, and kayaking. We loved the pool which was beautifully lit up at night. Our cabin had all the necessities plus more. We enjoyed meeting and visiting with the property owner, Judy. She went above and beyond for us. The nearby Longhorn Caverns were worth the shirt 20 minute drive. We look forward to coming back soon!

Judy was wonderful! She communicated with us and answered all of our questions. She found out it was our 35th wedding anniversary and blessed us with a sweet gift. We have made a new friend. The pool was lovely and we had a great time kayaking at the lake. She has everything we needed. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time and gave it a personal touch. I highly recommend Judy and her great cottages!

Judy is a great host and the cottage was very nice and full of antiques. Pool is great and pretty. Lake is down which wasn’t so fun but could hang at the pool

It was quiet and relaxing. Host was so sweet to surprise us with Happy Anniversary banner, cheesecake and champagne. Pool was beautiful. We love that we could go to Lake Buchanan or 10 min LBJ Lake. So we spent 3 days on the lake. Everything was clean and bed was comfortable! Would definitely visit again.

The property manager is amazingly attentive and provides a welcoming home away from home. Our cabin had all amenities needed for a relaxing stay. We can’t speak highly enough about the gorgeous pool and the relaxation it provided. Thank you!

The pool is incredible! Definitely could not get that kind of cleanliness and privacy in a hotel. We so appreciated being able to bring our dogs with us. Walking they lakeshore with them was gorgeous. The water is clear and clean in a private area. This was the perfect escape weekend we needed to recharge ourselves. Thank you Judy!

The cabin was very comfortable. The owner was very attentive to make sure everything was going well with the property. Very nice swimming pool right next the cabin. Minutes away from inks lake state park, longhorn cavern and places to swim on lake buchannan

This cabin is one of the most comfortable places we have ever stayed. Judy was warm and welcoming. They have a wonderful place here. The cabin has absolutely everybody you need! Highly recommended. We loved our stay and cannot wait to come back!

Great spot to just get away for a bit. Judy offers a lot of amenities and larger variety of things to do, even in the chilly weather. Everything was clean and so much better then what any hotel could offer. My children were especially taken with the golf-cart "rides"

Judy was great at communicating, checking in occasionally if we needed anything. Our pups enjoyed swimming in the lake; it was quiet when we were at the lake which is ideal for us since our dogs can be reactive at times and bark at others. Judy has a picnic table set up by the lake with all the gear needed to kayak/paddleboard. And the pool area feels like you're in a tropical paradise!

This was truly an amazing place! From the moment we booked the cabin, Judy was reaching out to ensure we had everything we needed to make our stay relaxing. The cabin is on a peaceful property with beautiful views of the lake. Our personal favorite activity was using the fire pit in the backyard while our kids ran around and explored the area. The cabin and property is equipped with everything you need to either stay in for the weekend or head into town. Judy provided a book with suggested restaurants and activities in the area that was extremely helpful. My husband said that these were the most comfortable beds he's ever slept on and I agree! Judy was extremely thoughtful and attentive and made sure we had everything we needed for the weekend. Definitely recommend checking out this place!

Judy is a wonderfully attentive hostess who thinks of all the details which made for a truly magical anniversary weekend getaway. Cozy cottage lived up to its name and is fully equiped to you feel home away from home. The property is a destination unto itself but there is also lots to see and do nearby. We will most certainly be back!

We had a great time at this little cabin and a great host in Judy that showed us around and made sure we had all our needs/wants met. The cabin was well stocked and organized, making our short stay very enjoyable. We hiked nearby, took the kayaks out for a short trip, sat by the fire pit and cooked. We were also directed to nearby Burnet for a wine tasting that was fantastic. Overall great cabin, great host, and great location. Would definitely return.

Judy, our host, met us and was as welcoming as can be. She first showed us the grounds knowing the outdoor space and beach was important to us. The place besides a very nice beach area , has a beautiful swimming pool with towels provided. Judy then took us to our accommodations. We walked in and she had it decorated for us with a Happy Anniversary sign, a card , flowers, and two pieces of Cheesecake for us. It was so thoughtful and sweet of her. She took the time to make sure to show us where everything was in the house and to fill us in on the local attractions. We will definitely return.

We are had a great time at the cozy cabin. We kayaked, fished, swam, enjoyed a fire as well enjoyed all the amenities of Judy's beautiful pool. Everything was CLEAN and well kept. The beach felt like you had it all to yourself which we enjoyed so much. Judy was a spectacular host and we look forward to visiting again soon.

We had an amazing overnight stay for our anniversary! The cabin had everything we needed. Judy was a fabulous host and was always there for anything and everything. She knew it was our anniversary and suprised us with Champagne and delicious cheesecake! The living room was also festively decorated. Such a thoughtful suprise! The lake was low, so she drove us down to the cove in her golf cart. She also picked us up. later that night we hung out at the AMAZING pool! The pool had several floats, tables, chairs, grills and was very clean and the landscaping was gorgeous! We had our dog with us and she also provided food and water bowls. There were also water bottles in the fridge. The cove at the lake had chairs, kayaks and fishing gear. We had a great time and can't wait to go back! Thank you Judy!

Judy, the host, was excellent. I had mentioned that we were celebrating my wife's birthday and she hung a birthday banner in the cabin and left cookies and a card. The place was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. The bathroom and shower are small, but I am a big guy and managed everything well. The pool was extremely clean and wonderful..

My friend/co-worker and I stayed one night in the cabin. It was cozy and clean. Both the bed and pull out from the couch were comfortable. The AC worked great, it was well over 100 outside and cool inside. We enjoyed the pool - it was great for cooling off after a long hot day. My friend went kayaking in the morning - just a short walk away to the lake. Judy the host was great - she quickly answered all of my questions, she gave great suggestions. Met us when we arrived and communicated via text after that. She was never intrusive.

We enjoyed our time here so much! Kayaking in the morning followed by lots of pool swimming throughout the day. The cabin is clean, comfortable, well-stocked and convenient to area attractions. The host has thought of every detail and went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. We will be back!

Owner was very nice, she communicated well and had most necessities available. The cabin in the add appeared to be on the lake and was not directly on the lake, actually couldn't even see the lake from the cabin. The bathroom shower was too small to be used properly and the overall size of the bathroom was barely usable. The outside furniture was dirty and some of the chair upholstery ripped as you sat in it. I was disappointed for the price we paid. The pool was very nice and refreshing with a nice vibe. Overall the cabin and stay were pleasant, I feel it was over priced for the accommodations.

We were in town for an Obstacle race and this cozy cabin was the perfect set up for my small families needs. Judy was a very helpful and attentive host, making sure everything was perfect and ready for our stay. There were kayaks for the water, a beautiful pool set up, fire pits, outdoor grills, and everything else we needed down to pool towels and a full kitchen. She even accommodated our puppy and had a bowl of water waiting for her when we arrived ❤️.

If you are looking for luxurious accommodations, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a charming, comfortable place to stay with good old fashioned southern hospitality- this is the place! Host is beyond amazing- thinks of everything- air on, lighting, black out curtains, comfortable bed, snacks, full kitchen. Property with beautiful pool area, quiet neighborhood. Lake access across the street. Lake currently low but still accessible. Host up front and honest about lake level. Close to multiple towns and places to go eat, shop, etc. Amazing weekend!
