We had a great stay at this property and would happily stay again. The heated pool and tennis court were fantastic and we spent much of the day outside enjoying them. The house is very close to the beach and in a quiet residential area and has a resort feel to it. Beautiful views from the deck off the main kitchen/living area and lovely private deck outside the 2 main bedrooms. Please note this house is not suitable for people who have trouble with stairs as there are many of them, and probably not good for toddlers/young children. The only negatives I would point out is that the outside areas need a good clean up eg cobwebs everywhere, the bunk beds are more suitable for younger kids (not fully grown teens or young adults), screens on windows and doors need repairs as does the sliding door off the main bedroom. The kitchen is very well stocked with plenty of plates, cutlery etc for large groups but could have done with some extra essentials like more chopping boards and sharp knives. The hosts were very friendly and responsive and were very quick to deal with an issue with the electric fence. Overall we really enjoyed our week and look forward to visiting again

Was a great house for a family holiday in a great location near the beach. Pool and tennis court were so good for teenagers. Only downside is a lot of stairs!!!! Hosts were very easy to communicate with at all times

We had a fantastic time at this property. Spent hours on the tennis court hitting the ball & playing basketball, kids had a splash in the pool & the dog loved running around after everyone. Great location 450m from Kooya General Store for morning coffee, and only a couple of minutes walk to the off-leash beach. House needs some TLC, but being pet-friendly makes up for it! Beware the smaller bunk room is very small (just fits the bunk bed), and lots of stairs to keep you fit... great view at the top though! Chris was great to deal with and very responsive.

very nice house So many stairs for our age group (55-70) but good for keeping in shape .... 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I will definitely recommend to friends and family. Maybe we will be able to get here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. House would be perfect for 2 families with kids. Views from the balcony were just beautiful overlooking the pool and Tennis court. The owners were just beautiful and easy to deal with and will definitely be staying again at this property. The only downfall of the property would be not having some kind of cover on the downstairs balcony/bbq area as it was raining on our stay and we originally planned to have a bbq however would be a perfect place to stay in the Summer. Big thankyou to Chris and Peggy for allowing us a stay in your home.

The house was amazing and exactly as described. The feeling of getting up to the top level with the large balcony was superb, you could really take everything in. Would definitely recommend

Home was very nice and well presented, it is larger than we expected and can comfortably fit two families. It looks just as advertised and has plenty of linens, towels, and kitchenware provided. We were also able to bring along our dog. Communication with the owners was very fast and pleasant We were very disappointed that the pool was clearly not cleaned before our arrival and we were unable to use it due to the water being so dirty. I was expecting it to be cleaned and ready to use as it is advertised in the listing. The fridge was also not working when we arrived, however the owners offered to have it quickly repaired once this issue was raised. The property could definitely use a deep clean by a professional cleaner but overall we had a nice stay and would recommend the property to others

Wow what an incredible property! This Sorrento home had all we needed to keep a family of 7 busy and active but also the space to relax and enjoy down time from busy days. Modern and comfortable, we look forward to staying again!

Good location. Lots of stairs, but then you also get a view! Plenty for the family get together with lots of activities.

The outside facilities of the property were great and the owners were responsive to questions. Overall the property would benefit from a very good clean and maintenance.

Being up high overlooking the area and some of the bay in the distance made the top two floors brilliant places to hang out and relax. A lovely quiet neighbourhood a short walk to Koonya back beach and Cameron’s Bight front beach. The kitchen is well stocked and the dining/lounge area on the top floor were very comfortable, although some windows didn’t open and some fly screens could do with fixing. This didn’t interfere with how relaxing it was to stay in the house. The two queen beds were comfy and lovely to have a balcony off both rooms overloooking the pool & tennis court. Bunk beds in both bunk bed rooms are a little short for teens but would suit anyone under 170cms. Two pull-out under-bunk-bed mattresses are a plus if you have extra kids staying. There is ample space and lots of TVs: the main two TVs were great. Air con is only upstairs but suited us as it wasn’t really hot enough to use it. The many outdoor areas could use a bit of a clean and update but were adequate for casual lounging about. The property owners were very accomodating with requests to change the pool temperature, which was great. The pool was clean and nice and warm. The tennis court (no lights for might playing) is not a full size court but was ok for a casual hit with a basketball hoop at one end. The downstairs kids retreat is great too, away from bedrooms on middle level and separate from the top floor kitchen/dining/lounge areas. Bring your own pegs as existing pegs were mostly broken. If you like face washers & hand towels, bring them along too. Overall it was great value and very relaxing.

We (3 couples) enjoyed our stay at Sorrento Getaway and appreciated the elevated position and views and it is an easy walk to the front beach. Whilst we would like to have given a 5* review, a number of areas could do with some maintenance for the $ being asked (Chris & Peggy happy to discuss privately) minimum please replace/repair the flyscreens that need doing. We all made the most of the tennis court however the 'heated' pool didn't get as much use as hoped as was rather chilly (did reach out about this at the time but didn't hear back). Current sleeping options - 2 main bedrooms (well-sized) + 2 'bunk rooms' (as others have noted "small & crowded") are well suited to a couple of families &/or singles rather than multiple adult couples.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. It’s spacious, lots of amenities, a fantastic tennis court and a heated below. It’s walking distance to the beach and is located in a quiet and serene neighbourhood. If you’re looking for a property with a scenic view, this place is perfect. It could do with some attention to detail with cleanliness (BBQ pits were unusable and has not been cleaned out). But overall, it’s fully equipped and very comfortable. Ultimately, my family and I had such a beautiful reunion and that is all that matters.

The property was run down and had a lot wrong with it. Leaking window upstairs, when it rained it came right onto the main floor. With some major floor issues that nearly caused guests to fall and hurt themselves. 1 of the bedrooms was an old laundry which had no heating, which is not in the description. The pool wasn't even running so we didn’t even have to option to use it. Some of the amenities in the kitchen were broken. I have tried to reconcile with owners, and they have ignored all my texts and emails. Do not hire this property, you will be bitterly disappointed.

What a fabulous break we had at this amazing property. Was more than we could ever have hoped it would be. Beautiful home with pool and tennis court not to mention amazing views! Great location.
