This home offers the perks of hotel and home wrapped in one! It's as if they knew what was needed and more. I planned many outside adventures with the family, but was out voted to stay home. With so much to do....my family was so happy with the pool, gorgeous yard and toys inside of the home. Hubbie and I were especially impressed with the functionality of the kitchen and all of its kitchen equipment. We were sad to leave. Thank you Michael for being an amazing host!

We felt as if we were in our own tropical paradise.

The house was good enough although not as large as the pictures showed. The pool turned green so we couldn’t use it for 2 days. The pool company showed up our last day and told us this particular pool turns green often because of the phosphates. We had a late afternoon flight so we were told by the owner we could stay as late as needed to on check out day as they had no one checking in. Apparently they got a late booking at the last minute so their cleaning crew showed up while we were packing to go. The owner showed up and was very disrespectful, short-tempered and just plain rude. He asked what WE did to the pool. He was angry because he ASSUMED we would be gone. We will NOT be back to this house. We have rented a lot of places as we travel often and never have we encountered problems such as this.

My fiancé and I decided to have a small wedding while we are here in FL for a few months. We rented casa mariposa for a long weekend and it was the perfect place for the celebration. The yard is beautiful with tons of greenery and florals which made for great scenery for the ceremony. The pool was a great place for relaxing and spending time with family post-wedding. The house itself is very comfortable as well! We had a great weekend here and we were all sad when it came to an end, but made wonderful memories here!

Casa Mariposa was our own private oasis in Naples and we will 100% be returning! Our family had never been to Naples before but wanted to stay somewhere close to everything. The home is a short drive from all the great restaurants on 5th ave, and downtown beaches. They had TONS of wonderful amenities available for us, and also lots of great local tips. Our family loved playing in the pool, and hanging out in their lovely yard. Its also rather spacious and fits a good amount of people. It really did feel like our home away from home. We can't wait to go back!

We had a fantastic stay in Naples at Michael's home. The property was fantastic. This was our annual trip we take as a family - 5 adults and 4 kids and we had a blast. We did manage to get to some local beaches and activities, but truly we were happiest just hanging out at the house and enjoying the pool and jacuzzi. The house is spacious, so there's many areas to spread out into. Michael has a ton of games, bikes, etc. in the garage which was lovely. The entertainment room set up was also perfect and we were able to watch movies at night with kids very comfortably. When we did venture out, most places we were headed were only a 5 minute cab away, very convenient. Michael was also very sweet and left wine and chocolates for us. Above and beyond. :) I highly recommend his place. If we're ever back down in Naples, we'll check to see if it's available first.

Absolute perfection. Everything from the tasteful, interior decor to the beautiful, gigantic fenced in backyard to the location made our family re-union week stay a 10/10. Plus perfect pool, spa & outdoor dining area with massive deck overlooking yard. No sign of damage at all from the storm & we even went to the nearby beaches by the pier that we were grateful that had recently opened! Seriously one of the best VRBO's I've stayed at & I've stayed at a lot. Communication with Michael & Rikke was great. I would highly recommend this house!

This place has it ALL! Location, space, comfort, amenities, privacy, gorgeous yard with an abundance of amazing plants, flowers, palm and fruit trees! I can't think of anything that it was missing! The owners were very responsive to any needs or questions! I'd highly recommend it and book it again!

Great place! Well appointed with what you need. Garage/playroom was great, and the pool was clean and great temp. King BR is massive, other bedrooms were a little cramped … but still comfortable. Will consider staying there again!!

Our family had a wonderful time at the house. Everything was very clean and organized and set up perfectly for a large family to enjoy. We would definitely love to come back!

This house fit all of our needs. A great fully equipped kitchen, the lanai, the pool, large deck and the beautiful yard made our family vacation perfect for everyone. We loved that it is a gated property and there was a spotless clean attached garage with new ping pong and foosball tables and contained plenty of beach toys, beach chairs, umbrellas, even fishing poles. There is a giant sand play area in the oversized fenced in yard for little kids. The location was great because it was a short 10 minute drive to Fifth Avenue and the beach. We look forward to staying here again.

Awesome place with very nice host. Has everything you could want in kitchen and very, very clean. Grounds were beautiful. We had a great stay and would definitely return.

We definitely had an incredible time at Michael’s Casa Mariposa, if you think the place looks good in pictures just wait till you see it in person, it is truly the best VRBO we’ve stayed at….and we have stayed in a few! Gorgeous heated salt water pool & spa with a large deck area and easy access to over an acre of fenced in beautiful Florida yard. Very quiet, private and tucked away - yet only 5 minutes to Downtown Naples and the beaches. The contemporary house design and furnishings are amazing with a fully equipped kitchen, great room and comfortable bedrooms. Master has en-suite bathroom with soaking tub and separate access to pool area. No detail has been overlooked from this fabulous property to ensure a fabulous vacation. Communication was prompt and helpful. Highly recommend this beautiful oasis!

We had a great stay at Michael & Rikke's place! The attention to detail and style are evident everywhere in the home. The location is serene, and on over an acre of beautifully manicured gardens. A soak in the hot tub was lovely especially at sunsets and our kids really enjoyed the salt pool and games room in the garage. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked even though we didn't do any cooking - too many great restaurants on 5th Avenue & 3rd Street south! We really enjoyed the stay and would highly recommend the place to anyone visiting the area looking for a beautiful, spacious, and quiet place to stay.

We loved everything about Casa Mariposa: lovely grounds (plenty of butterflies and beautiful plants) convenient location, thoughtful amenities, easy check-in/out process. The house has a great layout, with plenty of space for our group of 4 adults, 4 teens, and 1 10-year old (garage games, bikes, basketball hoop, pool/hot tub, hammock, fire pit). Owners were very responsive. We highly recommend this property. and hope to return in the future when we visit our family in Naples. Thank you for a terrific stay!

As others have mentioned, the pictures really don't do this place justice! I have rented many vacation homes and several in Naples but this one is the best one by far! It is an absolutely incredible property inside & out!! Even better than the pictures. Super comfortable, modern decor inside & expansive tropically landscaped gardens outside. It’s incredibly private and tucked away in a very quiet location but still really close to 5th Avenue, 3rd Street South, The Pier and Beaches. And Rikke & Michael were great hosts!

We spent three nights in Naples for our sons soccer tournament, the house was perfect for our stay with four teenage boys. The house is very spacious and it has a very cool layout. The boys really enjoyed the garage game room situation!! We took full advantage of the kitchen which has everything you need to cook homemade meals. The house was very clean, nice spacious bedrooms, we would definitely stay there again next time we go to Naples!

Originally we planned to stay here with our family of 9 for our youngest daughter’s wedding so the spaciousness of the home, yard, and having a pool were amenities we required. Sadly, the pandemic made it impossible for 5 of us to come. However it was perfect for us as a getaway and served well as the bride and her friends’ location for preparation. Great, quiet, totally fenced and they accepted our dog too!

I could not have asked for anymore than what this house had to offer. Unfortunately it rained most of the time that we were there but that did not stop of from enjoying ourselves as the pool was warm and the garage had alot of toys to keep us busy. Thank you and we will be back.

Due to the current situation I decided a Private Home Vacation was the best for my family. The LOCATION is EXCELLENT. The house fully stocked with anything you can think you will need for your stay home requirements or venturing out to beach & around the grounds. Beach & Pier are a few minutes away. Grounds have impeccable landscaping & so many places to relax around the home indoors & outdoors. Love that we have restaurants and shopping close by. Recommended for family getaways hands down. I did have some additional feedback and pictures in ref to the upkeep of the house that can be used as better visibility of the current upkeep and needed updates like Mold around the pool area & in the pool, A/C condensation and leaking on the fuse ball table in the garage, my husband moved it in order to avoid it being ruined. The coolers in the garage for guest use had mold and very dirty, probably from previous use and not cleaned, Microwave needs repair looks like is rusting and Oven was filthy & Broken Chair by the firepit.

Beautiful house with plenty of spaces to enjoy altogether or by yourself or on small groups. All what you need is there...and close to beach as well.

We were a large group so we booked two of Michael and Rikke's homes. Both homes were amazing. This home is very spacious. Our teenage daughters loved hanging out on the deck outside the lanai soaking up the Florida sun, whilst our son and nephew were having the ultimate ping pong match. These two homes were close to each other, so it worked out very well for us. Both were close to downtown, but to be honest we spend most of our time at the house because we were having such a good time.

We loved the house. It looked just like the beautiful pictures. Very clean and a great layout. We especially enjoyed the huge deck, which had room for all of us. The house is very close to Downtown Naples as well as the new food truck park on Bayshore Rd. We would definitely stay here again next time we are in Naples.
