Everything was perfect except the front desk lady (Mora or Maya?) who checked us in was extremely rude and borderline belligerent, not the kind of service we expect at the lodge. Everything at the room is perfect as listed and we enjoyed our stay.

See summary of my trip: Location - We checked into the place and it really is the nicest one in Stowe. It is at the top of the mountain, so the views are amazing with a modern building with all the bells and whistles. Staff is super friendly and have great suggestions for food and activities during your stay. Only downfall of the location is when we went, we were told that all 7 restaurants will be open, but when we arrived, only 1 of the restaurants on site was opened. The positive when we arrived during the week was the peace and quiet, the staff said we were about 10% occupied when we checked in on a Tuesday, so we essentially had the whole place to ourselves - from the hot tub and pool to the game room. By Friday, the place became quite packed, all the amenities were full - became much more loud with a bunch of kids running and screaming. Management - You get alot of emails from them, from checking in to scheduling to rules among other things - almost too many. Shortly after signing up, we got a ton of emails about a room change, no big deal to us as it was the same configuration and price. Unfortunately, when we checked in, the room change landed us across from the employee area of the floor, so we were woken up at all hours of the night with the door being slammed. We asked the hotel who said to ask VRBO management, and their response was they would escalate, but nothing. We were told all units were full with no replacements. We then had a family emergency a day or two later and we had to leave early. As opposed to management helping us, they did not want to work with us and we ended up eating the cost of a few nights stay. Their main focus felt more that they were concerned about 'room damage and incidentals' then actually making sure that we can handle our emergency timely and properly. Advice - Overall, the place was okay. For me, it is something you can go to for a few days get some great memories and enjoy yourself. I would have enjoyed it more with a more honest description of the property in terms of a bunch of the items on site being closed as well as management being more cooperative. I would recommend if you do go during the week (Monday through Friday) so its nice and quiet if you are going during 'Stick' season. I would also shop around to see if there are other management companies who have listings available beyond Stowe Mountain Rentals for rates / policies - you might be better using the hotel directly for booking

Beautiful place to stay with several amenities. One thing to note, make sure you get drinks EARLY. Most stores close before 6pm.

The property is fantastic, as was the room. Clean, comfortable and included everything that in the listing. Would def stay in this unit again. Valet parking was included and their new car retrieval app worked flawlessly.

Possible that we left a box of shoes in the closet.

This facility is incredibly well managed down to the valet service, which was very quick and easy. I loved being able to get takeout in the hotel and being so close to the hiking we wanted to do.

Rented two studios for a three night stay. All of the amenities were fantastic. Resort staff was friendly and accommodating. Pool area kept clean with fresh towels available as well as a fun pool bar. Can’t wait to come back in the winter!

Clean and well-maintained studio in the Lodge, with views over the ski hills. Everything was provided and facilities are excellent.

Place was an immaculate high floor 1 bedroom room at the Spruce Lodge . South tower right near pool and hot tub . Got texts about check in and check out procedures so no questions . Will definitely stay again

It was the perfect location for our needs. Beautiful view of the slop from the balcony and the miniature kitchenette had everything we needed to heat up take out meals as we still don’t feel comfortable eating out during this wave of Covid. The room is slightly larger than a typical hotel room so it was pretty cramped. We look forward to coming back to the lodge next winter but will definitely consider booking it earlier with either a join room or 2 bedroom suite.

Check in process was easy, room was clean and view of Spruce Peak village was great as it was decorated for the holidays. The fireplace in the room was a nice feature that made for the perfect winter getaway.

We enjoyed our three night stay at Spruce Peak. The property was just as described. Bed was very comfortable. We will stay here again.

We enjoyed heated pool and trails. Rooms are clean. I wish the stove was working. Otherwise, it’s a 5-star place.

Outstanding experience! The property is immaculate and hospitality of staff was top notch professional. There is so much to do in Stowe and the staff was ready with stellar recommendations. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful unit. Perfect weather. The pool is special as we all enjoyed it many times. So nice being at the base if the mountain in summer time. Recommend it to anyone.
