This small space is well planned to provide everything you need to be comfortable and packed with whimsical design elements. I loved it.

Lovely cottage in a suburban neighborhood in Auburn. It was well stocked and very esthetic. The loft is a nice second bedroom for those intrepid enough to climb the ladder (I did). Nice area close to hiking and a day trip to Tahoe. Would definitely recommend.

This was a quick overnight get away. This cottage was perfect. It was well equipped, secluded and comfortable. 5 stars all around.

The house is a great little place for once or two people. It was a bit smaller than expected but it wasn’t an issue for myself and a friend. It was a bit harder to find than I expected but we were arriving after dinner in full dark. Beautiful area close to tons of hiking trails and old town for restaurants and activities.

This adorable little cottage is exactly as described and decorated beautifully (even little hearts for Valentine's month). Alex greeted me when I first arrived, showing me personally around the cottage. Glenn & Alex were excellent hosts (immediately available when needed, but also giving me privacy... Glenn even offered to pick up something from the store when he was there!) The cottage is the perfect size and well-appointed. I chose to sleep in the cozy little loft (very comfortable). The fridge was stocked with some drinks that guests are allowed to use. I took several long walks in the neighborhood, shopped in town, and just enjoyed what this lovely town and cottage had to offer. This was exactly what I was looking for - a quiet, beautiful place away from all responsibilities to celebrate my 50th birthday 🎉. Thank you, Alex & Glenn! I hope to return in the future.

Very comfortable cottage with cozy stove, nice bedding, great sofa for lounging. We didn't cook but the kitchen seemed well stocked with pots & pans.

We loved our stay at this darling cottage! It is small but feels spacious and has everything you need, plus lots of thoughtful touches and lovely art. The bedroom does not have a door that closes off from the main space so but that wasn't an issue for our group. The kitchen is large and well-equipped, bed very comfortable, and bathroom had all the amenities we needed. Just a few minutes away from beautiful hiking trails!

No response until the 3rd time. Not a true 2 bedroom. It's a studio property. No door for 1 bed and 2nd bed is up a very steep 8' ladder with foam on the floor. Disappointed when stayed with my 82 year old mother who obviously isn't climbing a 8 ' ladder and no bedroom privacy. Also, no exterior lighting so from parking to the property at night is super hard unless you have a flashlight and don't step on the chicken poop as there are 2 chickens running around let alone the cat eating a mouse right by the front door when we first got to the property.

Loved this place...so comfortable all around!! Loved how private it was....and the ambience of inside was really cute. Only stayed one night....but in the future hope too stay longer. The outside gardens are very inviting and chickens too were a nice surprise!! Thank-You .....

We had an unbelievable stay at this place. The hosts were easy to contact but also allowed us our space. The cottage was beautiful in a great loc. Just out of “town” and close to some walking trails at the same time! Short walk into town for some night life if you so desire.

The cottage was beautiful inside and out. The gardens leading to the cottage, the decor inside...it was all part of a charming getaway. We hiked a little, had delicious food and enjoyed our time so much.

THIS WAS ONE OF A 2 NIGHT STAY IN AUBURN. ALTHOUGH THERE WAS A FANTASTIC VIEW AT PROPERTY #1 THIS ONE WAS MUCH MORE NICELY DECORATED ALMOST LIKE A STAGED HOUSE FOR SALE. THE GARDEN WAS BEAUTIFUL TOO. DEFINATELY A KEEPER.

This well appointed cabin was so nice to spend a week in Auburn for a business trip. The full kitchen is awesome, the hosts are wonderful, and the pictures do not do it justice. I will definitely be picking this place again for future business and fun travels back to NorCal

Alexandra, the host, is friendly and welcoming. Her cozy cottage is beautifully decorated. Some basic items were missing: bath soap, gas for the BBQ grill, steak knives, paper napkins. Otherwise a nice place to stay.

This was a great home base for my wife and me as we explored the hiking, mountain biking trails, and fun restaurants in and around Auburn. Highly recommended!

Our visit was perfect in every way. The cottage is tucked away behind a sweet garden of flowers, vegetables, fountains and garden gates under a shady canopy of trees. Even the two chickens were charming and very quiet. The inviting porch and interior had all the comforts of home and is fully equipped. The host is friendly and helpful. We had a lovely time and would definitely consider a return visit.

Our stay was perfect. The pictures actually do not do the property justice. It feels much bigger inside and the layout is great, even with two kids and a dog. The landscape is beautiful and you have your own private garden.

My (adult) daughter and I wanted to explore Gold Country and we couldn’t have found a better place to stay for our visit. The cottage is so comfortable and is filled with lovely treasures. Everything you might need has been thought of and if you need something else the warm and thoughtful hosts will make sure you get it. One thing to note is that the loft is accessed by a very steep set of stairs which are not safe for young children or people of a certain age (like me) but there are other sleeping arrangements downstairs in addition to the very comfy bed. We loved our stay in this enchanted cottage and would highly would love to return one day. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay and relax in Gold country.

The cottage was a perfect staging area for the Canyons 100k. I was able to relax the night before and get to the start easily. Glenn was also very helpful with his information about the course. Although the race was my reason for being in Auburn this time, I would stay there again if I was just coming to visit the area.

My BFF and I stayed at this magical cottage and had a wonderful time! Alex, the owner, was also magical! She met us the night we checked in and gave us a quick tour and history of the cottage. The loft was so cozy and the queen bed was so comfortable! We also loved the fresh eggs that Alex left for us from her chickens. We would definitely stay here again!

My husband, dog, and I enjoyed our two night stay at Glenn and Christina’s cottage in Auburn. The cottage had everything we needed to be comfortable for our two night stay. Fully equipped kitchen with everything we needed to cook meals, we loved the coffee beans they shared with us! We had cozy nights in and great nights sleep. They’ve made the space warm and inviting. It’s an easy walk to town, and a beautiful walk along the brook. We hope to come back again soon!
